Nothing ever ends poetically. It ends and we turn it into poetry. All of that blood was never once beautiful. It was just red.

"Be that as it may," replied Jon, "Good job or not, Julian, you're not a Kent. And you sure as hell are not an El." His words felt venemous to Julian - almost spiteful, a flavor not very commonly used by the Kents. Sure, the Luthor did empathize with Jon. He understood why the Kent was annoyed at him for donning the House Of El-Insignia. "Your father made this symbol more than your family crest when he started parading it in Metropolis. He made it the symbol of hope, a symbol of Earth's sovereignty. An Icon for all of mankind to rally behind, to feel hope. You let that Planet-Busting Ego take a backseat for a minute, and you would see it too. " Julian explained, Jon went on to talk about the battle plan.

"Ay, Ay, Captain." Luthor responded sarcastically. He looked up at the sky, a glass visor came from his neurotransmiter, giving him a augmented reality screen, a Heads up Display, homing in on Donna Troy for a second. More former Sidekicks - great.

He turned his attention to the prison, the HUD giving him info on everyone inside of the prison, every face was logged inside of the. His remaining links, that weren't still holding Shrapnel floated around him, emiting electrical charges to any of the prisoners he came across - or anyone infected with Starro, powerful enough to knock them out, but not cause any serious damage. He walked deep into the prison.

Tapping his ear, he went onto the encrypted com-link channel the League used. "What's it looking at in Tokyo? News aren't telling me much. We've mostly got Stryker under control. Got a lot of non-leaguers coming in to help out. I'm inside of the prison, neutralizing any threats inside. Superman out."

The Question is. The rest of them must of figured that he could handle shit on his own.

Oh yeah.

But who else would we really even need. Guy doesn't have a face, you never know if he's happy, sad, or down right furious!

... Is anyone at Stryker actually sent from the Watchtower?

The Red cape flashed in front of Julian, as a soft smile appeared on his face. he was here Just as Julian hoped. The Kryptonian hit the metal man hard - as hard as only his bloodline could. And the Luthor smirked. “Julian,” Jon growled at Julian, “You’d better hope you’re not calling yourself Superman, too. No one gave you the right to wear that crest.”
Shrapnel made to get up, and Jon punched him once more, sending him back down. A dull ache numbed his hands. Taking a deep breath, he reigned in the majority of his anger. “But we’ll deal with that later. For now, we need to form a plan. We won’t accomplish anything as we are now.”

"Jon." Julian said, softly, tapping the holographic panel erupting from his right arm, his mechanical arm was protected by the suit, but all of it's functionalities were still operational. "I assume you don't see the news much back at the farm." Julian began, his six spheres floating around Jon, and Shrapnel whom was now pummeled into the ground. "Move over." he commanded, and once the Kent boy was out of the way, four out of the six sphere went around Shrapnel. Forming a forcefield around him, tearing through the dirt, a cube prison, while emitting electrical currents between each other that would hit the metal man, shocking him into submission.

"I've been wearing this shield for two weeks now. And in my presence as the man of Tomorrow, property damages have gone down by 40 percent, and crime rate is rising the slowest in the whole country here in Metropolis in the wake of our beloved Justice League" Julian spoke, the holographics on his arm showed the news reports of his interventions in Metropolis, stopping bankrobberies, Toyman's escapades and even stopping rogue Lexcorp tech.

"I'm doing a good job. As good as he would." The Luthor stated, he was tense - he knew Jon wouldn't approve, nor would the other adoptive son of Kal-El, but he was right and he wasn't afraid to bruise their egos to prove it.

"But, let's continue this topic another time. We still have a whole prison to take care off."
Macario explained to Chester that he was a researcher - a scholar. "So you're a nerd? Neat." Chester said with a chuckle, before frowning again, he really did need that drink. And like the nerd could have read his thoughts, he suggested to buy him a drink. "Best nerd in town!" He exclaimed chipperly.

Making their way to the Magnet Trail Inn, they sat down at a table, the bar was pretty empty, only a few patrons nerby, one surly man was at the bar, chatting with the innkeeper, a barmaiden came to ask the trio what they wanted to drink. The oak wooden interior was worn down, the floors stained with beer - and blood from last night's brawl, no doubt. Someone had lazily mopped the floors with great haste a few hours earlier, the shoes of the patron dragged in enough mud to dirty the place up, anyway.

"Bottle of grog. The stronger the better." Chester said, as he looked at Lina. "No alcohol for the kid, though. She's drinking apple juice." Chester said - almost paternally, his face stern and stoic.

Then he cracked into a laugh. "Who am I kidding, she'll drink beer." Ignoring any protests Lina might have.

Back on the bridge, the already drunk swordsman looked over at his partner. "You want me to go get One-Eye? Screw off Jeko, go get him yourself." Isaac told Jeko, he was in a bad mood, poor spirits after losing a drinking contest for the first time since he was 7 year sold.

And to some kid he had never even heard off, either. Didn't this guy know who he was? He was Isaac Newgate; The Drinking Blade, the man of a hundred livers! How dare he challenge his authority? He was the best at drinking in the whole north blue! Surely, the kid must have cheated.

He couldn't stand for this. It was a matter of pride, and he was gonna have to settle this score sooner or later, but Jeko was right as usual They would probably need help, considering how easily that guy laid out the Quartz guys - and since he's accompanied by the Scholar.

What in hecks name is Pokemon Go?

(I know it ain't superheroes, but I've been hearing about it all day and now I'm curious.)

Augmented Reality Pokemon Geocatching game.

Basically, Pokemon in real life through your phone.

[Rant]In all fairness, I don't think that there's a single human alive who's capable of taking care of an entire nation like the US. There are a thousand problems being created as some are addressed, most of which can't even be solved ideally. Whether you're choosing between a showboating buffoon, a criminal, or an idealist, they all are flawed human beings who can't "save" everyone. I daresay that they can hardly save anyone.[/Rant]

Last time I showed that I'm an individual with a spine and unpopular opinions of my own, someone dropped out. So please don't be offended by the fact I'm willing to acknowledge human shortcomings.

EDIT: They also inaccurately labeled me a communist. I wouldn't care if i has a reason to be associated with communism, but people's willingness to be offended by their own blatant inaccuracies are amazing.

Red = Communism.

If you're Team Valor, you're a Commie.

(See, that's a nice segway, Pokemon Go is relevant atm, and what not.)

Also, Superheroes, how about them?

<Snipped quote by Hillan>

Depends on whether they get kept. A good promise broken is as worthless as a bad one.

Absolutely. But there's at least a chance things will get better.
