She opened her eyes, her warm smile still there and nodded her head. "I don't see why not, Lucas." She told him. "And... I'd love to see you at the coffee shop. It'd be a nice break from my day. You should come by around noon. That's my off time." She told him as she turned toward her apartment. She walked a little bit and then turned to look at Lucas. "Coming?" She asked, winking at him.

Where the hell did that come from?

She turned back, her cheeks red again. It was a roller coaster kind of evening. She wanted to keep talk to him but she had no idea what to talk to him about. "W-What kind of.. coffee do you like?" She asked without turning around, her cheeks still red from winking at him. Where had that come from? She didn't know. She felt like she was trying to hard but she also felt like if she didn't she'd miss it. This guy felt like a dream... Ugh...

She turned around and leaned up, looking at Carmen. Her eyes were soft and a small warm smile was creeping onto her face. She felt.. like crying. She jumped up and toppled Carmen, putting her arms around the girl.

"Thank you..." She mumbled into Carmen's shoulder, tears threatening. It was the first time in a very long time that anyone had been genuinely interested in her problems. She'd always been shoved to the side or forgotten. The lonely hero. For once someone was recognizing her.

She pulled away and sat up next to Carmen, looking at her. "I don't know what the books say... I just... go with my gut, I guess. You seemed like someone I could confide in. I mean... Matt is an old friend but.. I don't think he'd understand my problems and everyone else on this island has pretty much ignored me." She explained, feeling her stomach churn. She lifted her hand to her neck and felt for the ring.

"Even at my previous academy, no one really cared that I was dead and gone. They thought I was dead and when I went back... no one cared to see that it was me. And even if they did, it would just turn into a problem for them..." She explained, feeling a bit sorry for herself. But she was entitled, right? She'd spent so many years with all of this stuff bottled in and now there was a person sitting right next to her, willing to listen to it all.

She swallowed back her tears and continued, "When I was still alive, as a little girl in London, I grew up with a friend. His named was Xanthus. My parents thought I was crazy but he was like a brother to me. One day, at my old school, he came back but I didn't recognize him. Eventually, everything got sorted out and Mom came to save the day... I remembered him and suddenly it was like everything had come together. We were inseparable."

She took in a deep breath. "Or so I thought. One day, I found out about a lot of things that were going on around me. Lucifer, my parent, my own memories, everything. Well, Lucifer came to me in a dream. He told me he would destroy my friends and my loved ones if I didn't do as he asked. So... I prepared myself and made way for Heaven. They captured me, of course but what I didn't expect was them killing Xanthus. When I came back, I was broken. I hadn't realized how much I needed him. How much of my time I'd spent with him. He was my everything and I didn't even realize it until then." She told her story, her eyes staring down at the floor, her hand on the ring at her neck.

"I spent so much time in our room, staring at his things, trying to figure out what to do. Eventually, a friend came in and decided to try and help me by burning all of his things. I was furious. I kicked her out and then went in search of anything untouched. What I found sent me into another whirl of emotions. There was a letter and a ring." She began, swallowing to gather her courage and keep her tears at bay.

"The letter was Xanthus' rough draft to me, asking me to marry him. I... I still have the ring." She said, pulling out the ring from under her shirt. It was attached to a string around her neck. On the inside of the ring X & L were etched. "It broke my heart. And then he came back but he wasn't the same. He didn't look or feel the same. I knew it was him but there was another soul in there with him. Another person. I couldn't do that to them. I just... couldn't. So I left. I found my own way. I destroyed Lucifer and gained new life in the process." She continued, letting the ring fall against her chest.

"I got my grace back because as you said the human world is boring..." She explained.

And brutal...

"But now, I see him again and in his old body just older. It's like seeing something out of a dream but I don't know if it's one of those good dreams that goes from being great one second to being terrible the next. I've had so many dreams where I see him so happy and then he just looks dead and he's screaming at me. I've woken up so many nights in a cold sweat because of him. I don't know what to do... I don't even know where to begin..." She finished, holding her hands in her lap nervously. She closed her eyes as drops of water splashed onto her hands, her tears.

"I guess..." She spoke. There were a lot of things going on earlier in the week. It was hard to believe it had been such a short time ago. "I don't know. I guess I'm just eager to move on. I've learned that the longer you hold on to the past, the longer it hurts you. Which..." She began, trailing off. She took in a deep breath and sat down on her bed. After a few seconds of contemplation she laid down like Carmen was and stared up at the ceiling. "Which is why I freaked out so much back there. I'd all but given up hope and there he stood like a freaking ghost in a fairytale." She continued.

She turned to face Carmen, her knees pulled up to her chest in a fetal position. "I don't know why I'm acting like this, really. I should be happy. I should have been happy when I saw him before this. But all I felt was sadness like... it's all over and there's no way for me to fix it. I don't know whether to move on or hang back and try to fix it." She explained, being a bit more vague than she probably should be. "Sorry... You probably don't want to hear all this..." She said turning over to face the wall.

She turned to look at Carmen who was now sprawled out on her bed and blinked. What had she been up to?

"Well... I hung out with Bael... other than that... Nothing really. Well, other than the weird thing with my memories and my size... I looked like my younger self for a while there. Anyway, I'm really bad at making friends, it seems." She said, mustering up a small laugh. She took in a deep breath and unzipped her bag again and began to take things out of it to put in her closet. Both she and Carmen had one. "This is actually my first time being in a room since enrolling. Then again, I'm used to it. I've been moving around a lot lately." She confided as she put her clothes away. She pulled out a small box and placed it on the provided night stand, putting a picture of her old friends on there. Well, the friends she'd made while human. There was Ryan, Karla, and Nathan. She sighed, looking at them. Ryan had had a thing for her but she wasn't really in the right state of mind to really care or do anything about it. Right about now, he should be looking for a house with Karla and their baby, Nick. Nathan... She didn't know where that hood rat had gone, not anywhere good she assumed.

She turned to look at Carmen after her little thing with the picture. "What about you? What have you been up to? I mean, I figure we would have seen each other but we didn't. What were you doing back at the academy when everything started?" She asked

She smiled with glee at Carmen's reaction to her words about the shopping trip. Obviously, she'd said something right and she did kind of want more clothes. Some dresses would be nice. It'd been so long since she'd been able to do that. Though, she did kind of look good in cargo pants and a tight black tank... Still. She wanted dresses.

"Yeah, I think I'd go insane too." She replied to Carmen, hearing her reply about the human school. "After being in this world for so long, anything less would be strange. I feel like we wouldn't be able to survive. I'd probably end up just sleeping in class every day." She continued, turning to look at Carmen. She walked over to her bag and picked it up, taking it over to her bed. She zipped it open and looked inside. Yep, just the usual ordinary stuff. Brown cargo pants, tanks, t-shirts, combat boots. Nothing pretty nor girly there. She zipped it back up quickly, not even wanting Carmen to look at it for a second.
She looked up at him, her eyes searching his. What was with this guy? He was so sweet and she just didn't know what to do with herself. This was the weirdest day of life and for some reason she never wanted it to end. She felt like tomorrow everything would go back to normal and this guy would just return to whatever dream world he came from.

She shook her head and smiled up at him. "Yes, way." She replied, feeling a bit shy.

"Anyway, yes. I'm.. fine. Just my pride is a bit bruised as always." She told him, standing up and brushing the sand off of her clothes and... tongue. Once done, she stood in front of him and smiled. "There's no reason for you to be so upset. I just tripped over my own feet. It wasn't your fault, Mr. Life guard." She teased, trying to get her bearings again. She walked over to her things and picked them up and then walked back to Lucas. "Anyway, it's late. I... I really should go back to my apartment and get something to eat. I have to get up early and go back to work tomorrow." She told him.

No, Liar... you don't want to leave this... handsome dream guy.

She shook her head and smiled up at him. "It was nice meeting you Lucas!" She shouted, holding out her hand for him to shake, her smile so wide it forced her eyes closed.

Isolde Camarada

1000+ years old. (Basically, she gave up counting.)

Dragon

~Powers~

Dragon's Skin - Isolde has the skin of a dragon even when not in Dragon Form. If anyone were to try and hurt her in human form, scales would automatically form on her skin to protect her.

Dragon Breath - Only in her Dragon form can Isolde preform this ability. She can produce a white flame and anything touched by it would burn within seconds. After using this, she must revert to her human form and rest.

Call of the Dragon - As queen, Isolde can affect dragons in any way she wishes. It's a hormone thing. She can make them feel anything. She can also call them to her aid should she need it.

No Rider - Some dragons prefer to have a rider, or another race as their companion. Isolde has none. She thinks they would only pull her down and she thinks very little of other races.

~Weaknesses~

Human Flesh - When in her human form, Isolde has no offensive abilities. She cannot attack in this form, only defend. She knows no magical spells and she carries no weapons.

Magic - Isolde is defenseless to magic. She has no real way to combat it and that leaves her open to attacks.

Duty - Isolde has a sense of duty and sometimes that might make her hesitant in certain situation. Whereas someone else might not think twice, Isolde thinks about it several times over.

Isolde is a very prim and proper sort of person. She dislikes those without a sense of duty or drive, like Brako. Still, she's a bit of a tsundere in the fact that she still cares for him very deeply. She dislikes other races, preferring to stay with her own. She believes very deeply in protecting her own. She never helps other races and will only talk with those of her kind. She always speaks in the language of the Dragons.

Isolde grew up in an environment where females were treated poorly. The dragon culture had and still has a very poor outlook on females. Her father treated her and her mother very poorly and she grew up in a very poor environment. She had very few friends and often spent her time alone in the waters of a lake nearby her home. Her life turned around when a young aristocratic male by the name of Brako happened upon her. He courted her every day since then, trying to get her to be his mate. Eventually, she gave in and was thence thrust into the life of a rich well pampered female dragon. It was still the same. She was treated like dirt, she just happened to live in a better den with Brako. Eventually, Brako was put up to be the next Dragon King. At the time, he was ready for it and took the position, making Isolde his queen. However, days later he decided to resign and left the Dragon world, leaving Isolde to rule by herself. She was first female dragon to rule all on her own and she had a lot to live up to. She was constantly questioned and prodded and tested by the male dragons serving under her. Some of the newer generation looked up to her, male and female alike but most of the older males with the exception of Brako look down on her still. She is still trying to prove her worth even to this day.
Alright, so the next plan of action is a King's Game. Which will run a certain way. For now, we need to gather a list of the characters that will be participating. So, if you could please post all of your characters that WILL be participating. We will compile a list and then when ready, begin the game.

Basically, how this is going to work is every character will be given a number. One will be king. I will tell you guys which character got it. In IC, they give a command. I then look at the list and tell in OOC which characters had those numbers. Rinse, wash, repeat.
Title: Something's Got The White Queen In A Ruffle

Villains: Not Yet Created...

Arc: Something is happening to the Dragon Race. As far as they are aware, some sort of virus or curse is seeking out Dragons and making them younger. It's a slow process but, o far, they've lost nearly 10 dragons to the disease. They literally grow so young that they die.

Involved: Dragons and anyone affiliated with them.

When: Whenever is convenient. :)
- Brako -

He sat, staring at a banzai tree sitting in the back of the magic dojo, where no one really was. He was unbelievably bored. No kids had showed up really, as he expected, and now he really had nothing to do. He took in a deep breath and walked out of the dojo and outside, heading for his cabin. Only, he turned off into the forest. He didn't really know what made him do it, he just did. When he found himself in a clearing, he blinked and looked around.

"Wait... What?" He asked, his brows furrowing. "How the hell did I get here?" He continued, looking around. Suddenly, he felt his body go cold as a white figure flew down from the sky.

"Is-Isolde?!" He shouted, his voice shaking because of the cold. The white dragon flew down from the sky. She landed with a loud thump and stood, staring at Brako.

Evening, friend. She spoke using her mind and in the language of the dragons.

He blinked, looking up at her. "Evening...?" He replied, a brow raised. "To what do I owe this visit?" He asked a bit baffled as to why the white queen would appear here. She... hated him last he'd seen her. He had, after-all, renounced the kingship. It wasn't that he didn't want to be her mate either, he just didn't like the responsibility. He had other things to do, or not do...

He watched as she slowly changed, taking on a human form. She stood there, watching him intently.

"M-My... You've... changed?" He stammerer, still in a state of shock, confused as to why she was even here.

"Don't play games, Brako." She barked, her friendly facade over with, apparently. Brako took a step back, clearly afraid. If there was one person that scared him more than anyone in the universe it was his ex-fiancee.

"Sorry!" He shouted, holding his hands up. "It's good to see you, M'Lady, Isolde." He greeted her, bowing at the waist. When he came back her, he noticed a small nod of her head in reply.

"As you can see, I've changed." She told him, unblinking.

"Well, yes. You're far less... wrinkly." He replied, a small smile creeping onto his face. It disappeared when she snarled at him. "S-Sorry." He stammered.

"Anyway." She began, shaking her head. "Something has happened. Something none of us really understand." She explained to him, being vague as always.

Oh really? Something you lot can't figure out? Imagine that... He thought sourly. The woman snapped her head at him as if hearing his thoughts.

"I really hate it when you do that..." He told her with a tired tone.

"Then stop thinking such uncalled for things and I won't." She commanded him. He rolled his eyes and glared at her. "I just wanted to warned you..." She continued, her eyes softening. She walked over to him and pulled a hand to his face. As soon as she did, a white light enveloped him and he felt something changing. When it fell away, nothing really happened. Or so it felt like to Brako. In truth, the white mist had changed his form.

Isolde took Brako's now soft hand and led him to nearby water and motioned for him to look. When he leaned over, he gasped and fell backwards, falling on his behind. He looked like a 5 year old dragon again! "What is this, Isolde? What have you done to me?!" He shouted at her, clearly confused.

"I've protected you. Just... don't do anything stupid. You might just be another fat lard, but I still care about you." She told him, a red blush forming on her cheeks. With that, she was changed again and flying off, leaving a dazed and confused Brako to sit in the forest and ponder why he even existed anymore.
