Her eyes widened as he handed her a knife. Sharp objects, not exactly her forte. Then again, most dangerous things weren't her forte. Give her a foam sword taped up with duct tape and she could smack you a good one but a knife? She'd more likely end up harming herself. "Didn't you're mother ever tell you not to run with knives." She mumbled, a bit perturbed by the thought of the knife being on her person. She took it anyway, keeping a firm grip on it. She didn't want it flying off whenever she did something. Plus, she didn't really know what else to do with it. If given enough time, she could fashion a holder for it that could stay on her belt loop but she really didn't have the time nor the means.

At his words, she nodded. Yes, they really should be moving. If he's the bad guy Leon seems to think he is, he's more than likely pissed now. That was what she'd wanted to avoid. She felt like she was playing right into some trap. Then again, this whole thing felt like it was some bad action movie. Maybe she should just find a long hard stick to fit with, like Lily had done in her first year here. She didn't want to really hurt anyone while sparing, so she used a stick. The opposite was true. Rose didn't want to hurt herself, she could careless about her pursuer. It wasn't like she was good with guns either. She'd shot a BBgun before and nerf guns but that was about it. Though, she knew exactly where the shooting range was and where the supplies were, including the guns, all at least military grade. "If you're any good with a gun, I know where a shooting range is. They'll have guns and ammo there." She whispered to him and they made their way to the door. She walked over to the chain and put her hands on it, low enough so that Leon could come above her and they could pull together. "Alright. On three..." She whispered. "One..." "Two..." "Three!"
Yeah, it's been going pretty well. I'm quite enjoying it too. ^-^
She looked at him after the long silence as he tried to change the subject. Hmm... Maybe the scars were still too fresh... She glanced back over at the fireplace and then back at him. Marriage. Her heart cringed at the thought but she didn't show it. "Getting married..." She thought about it for a moment, her head bent down towards her laps. Should she be truthful and tell him the whole idea kind of makes her stomach churn? She let out a small sigh and then picked up her head, smiling at Aidan. "I couldn't be more pleased. I never thought I'd be so lucky as to have you as my future groom. I look forward to what the future may bring for us and Hyrule as a nation." She told him, a small smile held on her face. It seemed as though the two were swapping back and forth subjects that they did not want to talk about and this was one Zelda'd rather not talk about but... she must. She picked her head up again and looked off in the direction of the windows, a smile still on her face. "I hope that you find our castle as well as it's inhabitant's to be more than welcoming. I hope you feel at home here. If there is anything we can do to make that happen, let me or a worker know." She explained and then turned her head back to him. Every part of her being told her to get away from this. Tell him to go away, she didn't need a king.

She stood slowly. "Well, why don't we change location? I could show you to your room, at least until after the wedding. It's a bit... hot in here anyway." She told him, already walking towards the door. She didn't really care where they went but it was already getting a bit awkward staying in this room. She, herself, needed a change of venue.
I'll get a post out tomorrow. I've had a really long day and I just want to go to bed. Sorry. ^-^;
She sighed and sat down across form him. "I have been well. Thank you for asking." She replied, staring at the fireplace. "I'm sorry to hear about your brothers. It's hard losing a family member like that." She told him, turning to face him with a smile on her face. She wanted him to at least feel welcomed here. Maybe she should drop the formalities and begin making him feel more comfortable. She could tell that her demeanor was beginning to affect him and as it should. Many of guards would tense up whenever she acted like this. She smiled to herself. She needed to loosen up. After all, he wasn't bad and he was pushed into this as much as she was.

She reached over best she could and grabbed an apple, her dress almost creaking under the pressure. She smiled awkwardly at him, trying to hide her pain. The dress was just a bit too tight and she could hardly breath but she would tough it out. She pulled the apple to her mouth and took a small bite, chewing with one hand stuck in her lap. Her back was still straight but she hoped that her eyes would convey her... feelings for him. She didn't want to seem uncaring but at the same time she couldn't shake her posture. she felt ridged but at the same time was trying to relax and the dress wasn't helping... nor the heat. Still, she did not buckle nor complain. Her face showed her lineage. A long line of prim and proper princess. That was what she had to be... Even though... She long to be where Link was. To be among the trees and the animals. To be free from this suffocating castle, this suffocating dress, all the suffocating rules and mannerisms. She needed a break. She needed someone she could relax around. Her back was starting to hurt, but she didn't show it. She turned and looked back at the fire. She couldn't even relax around Link. She was bound by duty and promise.

She turned those thoughts away and once again turned to Aidan. "So, what of the rest of your family? Are they well? Loss like that can strengthen the ties of a family like nothing else." She said, a soft smile on her face. She didn't pity him, but she saw in him maybe a bit of herself? Maybe... Maybe he knew the suffocating nature of being tied down, of being forced to wear the maskings of nobility, of the upper class. She felt great hatred for the dress that sat upon her body. As if it were a symbol of her shackles; Shackle she knows she can never take off.

Souchi... She smiled, grinning at the name. It was a nice name. She watched as he moved away from her and went back to work. Well, so much for that... Maybe she should try talking with someone who wasn't working... She turned and looked around the cafe, watching for anyone. She spotted a boy that looked rather... pale and... well, dead. She blinked, looking at him. She rushed over as only a small child could. "Are you okay?!" She yelled as she approached him. He was eyeing the pastries in the display. "Do... do you want something to eat?" She asked tilting her head. Maybe he looked so sickly because he was hungry.

Lily
She felt the hand on her shoulder and caught the note just in time. She jerked up to look if the teacher was watching but she was far too engrossed in her book to be bothered with them. She let out a long sigh. She was done anyway. She pulled her knees up and wrapped her arms around them as she read the note.

You should see how angry I was when I received it... But... I'm fine now. Forgive me for being so sour mostly around you back in Parinthion. I wish things were better for the both of us in the coming days. Although... I still miss her. Wish she'd be here.

...She? Lily sat there for a moment, contemplating the meaning behind the words. Then it hit her, like a tidal wave. Her heart sunk. Shira... Her first friend. She sat, staring at the note for what seemed like hours before she managed to pull the note back up to read the rest of what he'd written.

And here we are passing messages like the first time we met her.

How was she supposed to respond to that? All it wanted to make her do was crawl up in a ball and wish that she could change the past. She sat there, again, for a few moments in silence, thinking. She needed to get over this... She needed to move on. It was high time she did. Maybe that was part of what she needed to do here. Face her past and learn how to move on into the future. She closed her eyes and then leaned over her knees to pick up her pencil and write back.

I cannot tell you how much I want to curl into a ball and just wish the past away but... I know that what has happened will never change. I think it's high time I... we all moved on and focused on the future. And... yes. It seems passing notes has a way of building friendships even if they've been a bit broken for a while. I'm glad to see you're okay, Himura.

She sat for a moment, trying to think of anything else she could add...

Oh, and how are you and Andromeda? I saw the two of you earlier today.

She looked down at the note in her hand and smiled. Maybe they could move on. Maybe life could be normal once again. Well, whatever sort of normal they had before. Back when it was all blissful innocence and fun. She smiled and folded the note back up with care. She watched for the teacher but again, she was too engrossed in her book now to even notice. Besides, Lily was done now. It wasn't... great. But it was something. She passed the note back to Himura's desk and sat looking at her paper. Maybe... She smiled and pulled out a piece of paper. On it, she drew a picture of all of the friends she'd had and no longer see. Shira, Xanthus, Kitty, John, Xavier... She even drew herself. They were stick figures but still. At the top, she wrote, 'The past is the past.' And at the bottom, 'It is time to pave way for the future.' And she drew a road with a small question mark at the end of it. Yes... It's time to move on.
She blinked as she was pulled into the kitchen by the hand of Leon. What? She looked at him, her eyes wide as he whispered to her, his voice low and deep as he said, 'Listen, Rose, this guy is bad news. I think he might be behind this whole ordeal. At the very least, he's mentally unstable, and already has shown to have a very short fuse. Now, this is important: are there any other ways out of the kitchen other than into the cafetaria? Some kind of staff hallway, maybe, or something used for supplies? Otherwise, we might have to make a dash for it.' She listened carefully, her mind running full speed. The man did strike her as... unpredictable but she'd much rather be on his good side than his bad. Who knows what he would do to them if they pissed him off. But... Leon was right. Instead of making themselves subject to his unpredictable nature, they needed to find a way out.

She thought for a moment, looking around the room. "I don't remember seeing..." She whispered... "Wait!" She whispered, her voice a bit harsher. She slowed, trying to calm down and then pointed in the direction of the back of the kitchen. "I think there's a supply door over there. It'll be loud though. We'll have to be careful." She continued, her voice much softer, barely audible. She tiptoed over to the back of the kitchen and located the door. It was one of those metal doors that operated by a pulley system. Yes, it would be loud. He would hear them no matter what they did. As Leon came closer to her, she whispered to him, "We're going to have to do it all in one go and run for it. I just... I don't know where. There's no where to hide out there really. Not unless we make a run for the forest area."
She was lost in thought when she heard, 'Hey Zelda!' Her eyes widened, shocked evident as her body tensed. She breathed out a small sigh, relaxing her body and then turned, her smile soft and her eyes softer. The sun ever so softly glowing behind her, almost as if she had a halo over her head. She stepped away and it disappeared. He looked... not much different than she remembered. He still had the black hair and red eyes. She had to admit, they scared her a bit then and they still did today. Though... he looked much more dressed up today than he remembered. Then again, so was she. Then again, they'd been kids when they last saw each other.

"Hello Aidan." She greeted him, her hands still kept in front of her, clasped together gently. Stay calm... "It's good to see you again." She said, tilting her head ever so slightly as she smiled at him. She walked over closer to him. Stay... calm. As she walked, she motioned to a table on one side of the room that held glasses of water and fruit. "The servants have provided food should you be hungry." She told him. As she neared him, she stopped, her posture never changing. "It's been far too long. How are you?" She asked, motioning for him to follow her to the seats by the fireplace nearby the food. Just... smile and agree with him.
xnjvhfvdf. That last post about Shira made me want to cry. vnfjvnfdj.

Anyway, I may get a post up today. I'm rather busy, so yeah. I've got math in about an hour and then math homework due tonight and pep band rehearsal and all I want to do is go to bed. Blarg.

Bunny, you should have just sent Matt to the same classroom as them or something. That's what we did the first time we did this. Lol.
