I finished up the Principal's CS and added it to the list of NPCs. I'm going to be slowly working on filling out the current NPCs' CSs but for tonight, I think I'm done. Lol.

The school, Saint Valerius Academy is a year-round academy that's located in a relatively remote place in Northern Europe, with the closest civilization being the town nearly twenty miles distant. The academy proper is atop a small hill in a valley, surrounded by lush, heavy forest. Its classes are for a high-school only, with college level classes available for the more advanced students. Dorms are provided on-site, and located away from the main school buildings. With each advancing grade level, students are awarded with more freedom(Both in selecting classes and outside of school hours.) One day(Sunday) is given as a relaxation day each week, and the students are allowed off the premises to go to the village.

The Nobles are sons and daughters of the very, very rich, making this a school that's very exclusive and almost impossibly(For an average person)expensive to afford. In return, the school promises to create an exceptionally safe(Via both the highly-trained and paid guards, and the Knights) learning environment that promotes interaction and skills that such future captains of industry would need. While all the classes are available to everyone, the Nobles will only get Nobles as classmates, and so on(The Knights may, in fact, sit in on these classes).

The Middle Class are usually local children who graduated with exceptionally high grades from their schools, and got a scholarship into the academy. The others that make up the Middle Class are rich(But not the super-rich) who can afford at least some of the school's fees and then the sons and daughters of the faculty and staff.

Knights can be selected from the Middle Class, but more often than not they are transferred into the school for the explicit purpose of being a Knight to a specific noble.

More Things Explained

Duels: Duels are a more specialized way of climbing the rank very quickly. For a Knight to enter a duel seriously, they must be ranked. Each Knight, beginning the duel, gives up their pin, the representation of their rank. Each is given a basic sword and a shield, and then they battle. The victor is the one that does not concede defeat and/or the supervising faculty deems the winner while watching (They are given rather strict training on when to do this, such as if a student might get seriously injured, or if the battle has gone on for a very long time, they must try to find a winner so that the Knights do not fight themselves to death.). The winner then gets the pin (out of the two given up) with the highest rank and moves on. The loser gets the lower pin and must accept it. There are extreme cases where the pins the Knights get at the end of the duels do not remain the same (as in in some cases, the teachers will elect to move a Knight up or down the rank forceably.) however the rule is to treat the duel as over when it is over and the ranks as solid until the next supervising session. If a Knight loses a duel, they are allowed one consecutive duel before they are suspended from calling duels for the next month.

Ranks: There are a total of 25 ranked positions each with their own specialized pin. They go down in number and color as you get higher up the rank. Rank 25 -16 are bronze, Rank 15 - 6 are silver, 5 - 4 are gold, and 1 is purple. Every other week or so, the Coordinator makes rounds for "Rank Sessions" where he/she watches several Knights brawl with each other and then assesses their rank within the school. All students are watched, however only those that are Ranked are watched by the specialist (Coordinator), others are simply watched by normal teachers. After the "Sessions" are over (often without the knowledge of the students) a board is posted with the Rankings (one is also posted online on the school's website via the Newspaper 'Club'). The other unranked students remain unaware of their progress towards the rank but are allowed to seek advice from teachers about what they could do better. It should also be noted that Knights are not only ranked based on fighting ability, but on a whole expanding to their studies and social life (what the teachers see of it, anyway).

Dorms: Each dorm is associated with a class level, however Seniors need not stay in the senior dorms. However, freshmen must stay in the freshmen dorm. Each dorm as it travels up the class level, also travels up the other 'class' level as it increaces in price. The dorms are all co-op and males and females are even allowed to stay with each other depending on the family's wishes. Knights are generally required to stay with their nobles in the same dorm room and so each dorm room comes with one large bedroom and one smaller one for the Knight. All students in the school are required to stay on the campus for training purposes.

Weapons and Technology: This world is fairly advanced, taking places several years after our own modern day. However, the school itself does not allow the use of firearms. The Knights are taught how to use firearms in classes, however they are not to be used during duels.

School Rules: They don't have many, but Students are only allowed to leave the campus on urgent business or otherwise on the weekends like everyone else. The closest nearby town is a 30 minute walked and is called Little Helm and many of the school's students hang out around there on the weekends (it's apparently become a tradition to hold a dance party every Friday night in the Little Helm local bar).

Nobles are not allowed to fight in duels, but they can call them for their Knight. If a Noble breaks this rule and fights in an illegal duel, they are put under Dorm Arrest and they cannot leave their dorm until the suspension is lifted. Their Knights will get all food, schoolwork, and other such things as the Noble needs during this time. Duels are absolutely not allowed without faculty supervision. And, any faculty caught allowing an illegal duel will be punished severely along with the students. If a Knight breaks this rule, they are put into forced detainment and punished (Usually through pretty harsh training) and a Substitute Knight is called in from the Institution (a place where Knight gather and are hired, ye.)

RP Rules - Please Read

1)GM and co-GM reserve the rights to kick players out of RP for reasons they deem... well... reasonable. These could include disrespect, lack of posting for extended periods of time, or other various malconducts.
2)The RP will only wait one week before moving on without players who haven't posted. Eventually, your character may even be written out of the story. Just be aware of this.
3)Please make sure that if you have plans that they are run by either the GM or co-GM before implementation. That goes for changed character background, plot ideas, etc.

He rather likes to wear rings and has an odd assortment of them, most of them with magical essences.
Strengths:
Nimble - Mr. Hampton can get around. Since he can't really take a beating, he's learned how not to get hit and doesn't often. He's a very nimble dodger, able to dodge and cast a spell within the same breath.
Charismatic - Mr. Hampton is very good at getting people on his side. He can convince most anyone to do what he wants. He's even been called an incubus before by a student to which they were promptly scolded.
Stamina - Though he can't take many hits, Mr. Hampton can fight for a long time without getting tired. His mana reserve is second to none and he could run for hours without tiring.

Weaknesses:
Low Constitution - Mr. Hampton has spent many hours studying and learn to dodge and run around swiftly in an arena. His body is not built to take hits and he is aware of this. One good hit from a knight in the Order of Shield would send him to the infirmary for a good few days.
Low Strength - Mr. Hampton prefers not to use weapons simply because he can't do much with any normal weapon. For one he can't lift half the swords found in the school's armory, even the practice ones. He's much more keen to pick up a dagger than a full sword.

He's very charismatic as well and can convince nearly anyone to do nearly anything. Well, except that he can't convince Mr. Parish to go on a date with him, which upsets him to no end even if he'd never admit it to anyone. Though, he's also very patient and willing to wait however long it might take for Mr. Parish to notice him.

• Swordsmanship (Novice): He picked up the sword once or twice, only because he was told it was a necessary evil but hasn't picked one up again since.
• Cooking (Expert): Tell him a dish, and he can make it for you. Secretly, Mr. Hampton is a major foodie.
• Archery (Journeyman): He doesn't really like weapons, but he picked up archery because it was less annoying than the sword. He not terrible at it, but he would be better if he spent more time working on it.

• Nox Arcanum (Power/Major): Nox Arcanum is a power Mr. Hampton had invented for himself. Its basis lies in a fire magic so strong, it is black and blue. The magic itself is so tied to Mr. Hampton that even if he were to set himself in the flame, it would not burn him. This fact alone is what garnered him the name "Black Phoenix".
• Vizor (Power/Minor): This power was originally created by Mr. Hampton's mother. It is an illusion spell that grants the user a multitude of copies of themselves that can all do real damage to the opponent. When one is hit by any means, however, they disappear.
• Moira's Charm (Artifact/Major): This ring, when worn, allows the wearer to charm any person they choose into submission. The ring has a cool down, so Alex can't use it very often, but he does use it when he wants to get his way. The only person he's never used it on is Richard Parish. He got it from his mother a long time ago.
• Perfect Glasses (Artifact/Minor): Mr. Hampton got his glasses from an eye doctor years and years ago because he didn't want to have to keep buying new glasses each year. The glasses are self correcting and adjust to whomever wears them.

Childhood: Mr. Hampton doesn't speak often of his childhood, but most know that he didn't have a very good relationship with his father. Much of his time as a child was spent in the library, trying to avoid his father who wanted so desperately to teach his son how to fight. Mr. Hampton wanted none of it and that often brought on beatings, his father hoping they would whip him into shape. Since then, Mr. Hampton has let anyone hit him.
Adulthood: Mr. Hampton was not the top of his class, in fact he never even ranked when he was at the school, however the principal of the time saw in Mr. Hampton, the ability to lead and so sought him as the new leader for the school. Happy to take on the role and avoid his father, Mr. Hampton took on the challenge. Since becoming the principal of Saint Valerious, the school has become more prosperous than ever, it's students showing more and more progress than the last each year.

The only time he takes it off is to bathe.

Oz is strange, however, as he is not the first born son. The mark gives the wearing immense magical powers, most infamously fire magic. Hence, Oz's fear of fire. The mark has become a thorn in Oz's side since the day he was born with it. It has only brought him pain and isolation, which is why he constantly hides it.
• Vorpal Bane (Weapon/Major): The Vorpal Bane was a gift Oz received from his father, forged by his father. It is light as a feather and sharper than any sword known. The blade itself is known for decapitation, hence the name. It was also charmed such that only Oz can wield it. In the wrong hands, it becomes a heavy, dull blade that few can even manage to hold in their hand. For those who try to use it against royal Willems' family, the blade will retaliate by burning the wielder, Oz or otherwise.
• Songbird (Power/Minor): It's hard for him to do, but Oz can manipulate his own voice. He hasn't really figured it out very well yet so it just sounds distorted, but he's constantly trying. The power itself came from a fairy he'd stumbled upon in his adventuring. He saved her from attackers and thus she wanted to pay him back. He wouldn't say why, but this was what he asked for, the ability to change his voice. She told him it wouldn't come naturally to him and he would have to work to master it, but he would have it when he woke the next morning.
• North Star (Artifact/Minor): The North Star is a pendant designed by Oz's mother that glows more brightly when he is turned towards his home, Azarus. It's sole purpose is to lead Oz home.

His mother loved, as all mothers do, but she still feared him. He spent most of his childhood isolated both by others and his own personal isolation. He spent most of his time alone, exploring. When he was 16, his father gave him the Vorpal Bane, a surprise to be sure. It was that moment that Oz realized that his father had come to realize something, Fate had chosen Oz to be their next king, not Robin, much to Robin's chagrin. And it was because of this jealousy that King Cato also had the blade charmed such as to protect Oz from his brother. Oz became very good at dodging because of his brother's brute strength. Robin was so slow that it didn't take long for Oz to realize he could just... out run his brother most times. After his brother realized he wasn't getting rid of Oz that easily, he backed off, but Oz knew that wouldn't be the end of it, it never was. When Oz was 17, his mother and sister were murdered. He never once thought it was his brother, but the attackers weren't aimed at attacking his mother and sister and they weren't supposed to be with him. They were attacking him. His mother and sister just happened to be there and kept protecting him. By the time he was able to ward them off, his mother and sister had passed away. Since then, he's been trying to find out who was responsible. He just can't shake the feeling that his brother had something to do with it.
Adulthood: He hasn't been in his adulthood long enough for much to have happened.
