Current putting yourself out there is scary, yes. but you rob yourself and others of those positive and welcoming interactions you might have. high risk, high reward. you've got this, friend.

Paris inwardly laughed a bit. Haha... Ha... Haaah... No. He'd more than likely never even stand a chance against his new roommate. Still, by the looks of the room and of Marc, if there was anyone to make Paris a bit more... fit, Marc was that guy. Slowly, the smile faded from Paris' face, his more stoic expression taking over. Smiling so much was beginning to hurt his face, though he knew it made people like him more when he at least tried. He sighed and followed Marc into the elevator. As they stood in the elevator, Paris thought for a moment. What kind of person was Paris really? He closed his eyes and let out a long breath. He was... kind but distant most of the time. He chuckled ever so slightly. He tried too hard to be something he wasn't. Maybe it wasn't exactly the way to start off with his roommate. Besides, smiling all the time would get tiring.

The elevator hit the Lobby floor and he followed Marc outside to... his impala? Paris blinked a bit, looking at the car. He didn't bring a car here... figured he'd be staying on campus more often than not. Then again, Marc had said something about the trail being a few miles out. He snorted at himself. Maybe eventually, he'd be good enough to walk there himself, without a car. He sighed and stepped into the car. It was a bit small for his tastes, but then again he did always prefer convertibles. They were just more... open. He hated feeling closed in...
THE BATTLE OF WILLIS.

Sounds like an action movie I'd go see. xD
Lily almost, almost fell when the door opened behind her but she managed a smile up at Liz. Apparently, one of the tenants were providing breakfast to everyone. She looked over at the food and smiled warmly. "Don't mind if I do." She said, getting up. She walked over to the table and grabbed a small apple. As she ate it, she walked down the isle in the warehouse, taking inventory of what they had. Looked like they needed more medical supplies than they currently had and... definitely more food.

Lily stood in front of an isle pensively, the apple in her mouth. Her blue eyes, scrutinizing the shelves before her. Maybe they could find some seeds. One of them has to have a green thumb. And if no one else did, Lily would find a way. She took in a deep breath and smiled. That was the way it'd always been. Lily hadn't chosen to be a jack of all trades, Life had forced her to. Not that she was good at everything... She just... had to be able to do it.
She shook her head slowly and pointed up. "Nope. We're here." Above them were a set of ladders and a manhole that lead up to the forest. She knew about this little tunnel because she'd been the one to create it. It hadn't really been put to use because Fredricka still hadn't had a chance to use it. "Hang back for a moment, I want to go up and make sure everything is clear." She told him and then began climbing the ladders up to the manhole. She pushed it open slowly and peaked out. Yep.... Just as she thought. There was Fredricka's little clearing with her rock. Rose smiled at the memory. It was a pretty place. A small beam of light leaking in through the trees towards the rock where Fredricka would often sit and tell stories to the animals around her. Rose shook her head and chuckled. It was so cheesy.

"It's clear!" She called down to Leon and then pushed the manhole cover the rest of the way off and pulled herself up. Once she was up and standing, she leaned down to look down at Leon who was still down there. "Need a hand?" She asked, unsure of how she could help him at all.
Wait... what? o-o'

The academy has never looked exactly like that picture. I told you, there's a huge fucking forest on this side of it! The RP is pretty sandbox in that it's so huge you can just make anything you really want in it. The main things are the first few floors and the dorms. The first floor has anything from the offices to the nurses' office to the cafeteria. There's even a pool upstairs, so yeah. The academy can be anything you want it to be. And I always thought of the garden as behind the school. There is a water fountain directly behind the school with a path that leads into a small garden area. On either side of the main building are the dorms, just imagine them as two rectangles with rooms on either side.
Lily leaned against the side of the apartment building watching the group go at each other. Poor girl... She thought slowly. She tries to hard... They all do... She took in a deep breath and closed her eyes. The two town drunks had already given our benefactor a bad first impression and now they were trying undermine her. Lily shook her head and chuckled. "I'd be more apt to trust the sober doctor, even if she's been through less schooling. I'd also prefer her years of experience over yours. I'll leave my life in the hands of our sober experienced benefactor, thanks." She mumbled under her breath as she walked over to the warehouse after Liz.

She reached the door and noticed it was locked. Without another word, she turned and slide down the door, her back against it. Now in a seated position, she sighed. "I'd like to apologize for those two. We're all trying hard here. Some of us just... take it too far. If I had to put my life in someone's hands, it'd be yours, Liz. I hope... that you can trust me to have your back as well." She said through the door, a smile on her face. She didn't care if Liz could hear her or not but she knew that if she tried to barge her way in there, she'd lose whatever amount of trust Liz had had for her. "I'll have you know that I choose my friends wisely and I don't hold back. I consider you a friend, whether you return that or not. I just.... thought I'd let you know." She continued. Lily sat for a few moments, staring up at the clouds, waiting for a reaction. If she didn't get one, she just get up and get her motorcycle. Head out somewhere, search for a few supplies. Though... she needed to know what exactly they were in need of.
Paris watching the boy for a moment, taking in his words. Asses how physically fit he was? Paris had to admit, the guy probably wasn't going to be very impressed with Paris. Paris had a long way to go before he would even begin to consider himself physically fit. He was a healer, it wasn't like he was meant for combat anyway. Paris straighten up with a small smile on his face. "Sure. I'm willing to try. Just prepare yourself for disappointment." He told Marc before turning to his things. He grabbed his tennis shoes and a pair of shorts and went into the bathroom to change. As quick as he was in, he came out, shoes and shorts on. "Alright. After you, Sensei." He told him, winking.

He was never the strongest so maybe it would do him some good to build up his endurance. He'd always had life so easy. He knew how to bandage himself up pretty well but healing others had always come so naturally to him even before he started gaining his powers. He chuckled. Then it just became even easier. He'd often considered himself a guardian angel, gifted with the power to watch over his friends and loved ones. He chuckled again. Maybe he'd become a masked vigilante. But... what would his name be? The Guardian? Hmm... Sounds nice. Maybe he could actually do that. Build up a secret identity and start... healing random people on the streets. It was a bit laughable but he still... considered it. It wouldn't be hard... He'd just have to get a ways from the school, into the city and watch over the city. A modern day Batman... Well, almost.
I'll be getting a post up soon.

As far as what kind of band, Pep Band. As in.. standing up... moving around... screaming... yelling... singing. Anyway, we won. Two time defending champs. :D
Sorry for me too, I'm at a band competition. Won't be able to really post until Sunday at the latest.
