Current putting yourself out there is scary, yes. but you rob yourself and others of those positive and welcoming interactions you might have. high risk, high reward. you've got this, friend.

She stopped, looking at the woman the girl motioned to. She smiled warmly and waved. Without another word, she came closer to the woman and leaned down, looking at her notes. "A gardener and someone good with animals..." She mumbled and straightened back up. "I'd hardly call myself a connoisseur of animals, even if that is the wrong word to use." She began, giggling at herself. "But, I could start a garden for us. I'm pretty good with plants and the like." She told the woman, sitting down next to her. "I'm Emily, by the way. It's nice to meet you!" She continued, the smiling never fading.
She looked back at the girl upon hearing her say they should find the owner of the flyer. It was a female? Curious to see this person, Emily followed the girl. Along the way, she looked up at the clouds, smiling when she saw something recognizable. She noticed a cloud in the shape of a heart and let out a small giggle. She sighed and pulled her head down to look in front of her once more. What would the people she'd be staying with be like? Would they be callous or kind? Would they ignore her? She smiled. Well, they'd soon meet a force to be reckoned with if they did. She didn't take kindly to being ignored. She also hadn't the foggist of what kind of people she'd be meeting. Probably just like the rest of them...
People seem to gravitate towards the loner type, even though it's actually rather bad for an RP if done poorly. That's why I generally stray away from them. I'm afraid I can't do a loner very well. I'm much better and happier, more outgoing characters. Where I wouldn't exactly call Emily outgoing, she eccentric enough to do things that'll cause people to talk to her. It opens me up to have her interact with any of the characters, no matter their demeanor.
Emily looked up to a girl holding a knife, yelling at her. She blinked. Well, she couldn't really expect much. Of course she'd be suspect. She took in a deep breath and then released it, producing something akin to a hissing sound. She smiled and waved at the dark haired girl. "Well, hello." She yelled back as she got closer. She stopped just a few feet from her and smiled, rocking back on forth on her heels.

"Hey. I'm Emily. I'm looking for the owner of this flyer." She told the girl, handing her the flyer. God, I hope this isn't a freaking scam. She thought inwardly, trying her best not to show it on her face. Her face held the warm smile calmly as she looked toward the girl. She couldn't be much older than Emily if at all. With her camera still on, she turned to look at the warehouse and walked over. Smiling, she lifted her camera once again and took a shot of the warehouse. She looked down to see what she'd gotten. Eh, not bad. The lighting was pretty good.

When I thanked Axel it was for his compliment to my RP I hadn't seen the ic post yet.

Ahh, I thought it meant you'd already approved him, or something. Yeah, generally no CS is a no go in IC. Heh. -cough-
Paris got out of the car with MArc and watched him as he prepared. Paris blinked unsure of how to do so himself. He bent down, attempting to stretch but didn't get very far. Yep, not flexible. He straighten back out just in time to hear Marc talking to him about Marc going off track. Well... it suited him because odds are he'd be left in the dust of this guy. Paris looked down at the dirt trail with a bit of distaste before he began walking a bit down it.

After a while, he managed to coax his lazy body into a slow jog and eventually, he even got a bit faster. He could still see Marc is the near distance, darting about as he took off away from the path to his training. Paris shook his head and ran a bit faster, trying to at least catch up. That was when he noticed a figure dart by. He blinked, stopping dead in his track and looked up in the direction of where the guy had gone. He couldn't see much but it was obvious the guy was a lot better of physically than Paris would probably ever be.

He let out a disgruntled sigh, looked in the direction of Marc, looked back at where the other guy had disappeared and followed. It looked like someone he'd seen before anyway. He blinked as he got closer, music? Very beautiful music at that. He couldn't really make out what the instrument was until he got a bit closer violin? His mother had always wanted him to learn violin, but he'd never had to knack for it. Can't teach a dog what it can't do, after all. Maybe the same could be said for this running thing. But maybe, just maybe if Paris kept at it, he'd be better after a while. He'd just have to stop being so... lazy. He stayed out of sight until the guy finished the song. Paris had been right. It was the guy from before, at the cafeteria? What was his name again? Paris blinked. Luke? No... Luce? Lucius... That was it! Maybe he should call him Lucy though. He chuckled and then began clapping as 'Lucy' finished his song. "That was great." Paris praised, a small smile on his face. He walked over a bit closer and leaned against a tree nearby. "How long have you been playing? It sounded really good." He began, genuinely curious.

lol...THERE'LL BE PEACE WHEN YOU ARE DOOONNNEE, LAY YOUR WEARY HEAD TO REEEEEESSTTT, DON'T YOU CRY NO MORE...SUPERNATURAL fan, right here.

Well, I'm a supernatural fan, but I was a fan of Kansas long before Supernatural ever used it. xD

If you ever get a chance, a trombone quartet does an amazing cover of that song. <3

I'll work up a post. I don't see why one more character at the track at the track could be bad. Paris is still going to fail miserably at being athletic. Sorry Marc, but this one might just be out of your league. He's a healer, not a fighter. :P ~

A few questions and commentsAxel where is your CS?Did you say you had powers? How does your guy time travel!?Are we in a fiction world or a alternate/future earth?I swear one of the "drunkards" said this was 1980 something and so the song Royals would not be out yet, unless she too can time travel...Speaking of that song I was thinking about it moments before you posted Hylian

O_O

1) This RP really had no set... setting, I don't believe. I was assuming we were in modern day, but I'll change it if we really want to do the 80s. (Eh, not mah thing.)
2) Pretty sure the GM wouldn't say, 'Thanks Axel.' if she didn't want him here, CS or not. For me, I'm perfectly fine with it. I understand that sort of character and even welcome him, so long as he isn't obscenely OP, which I don't think he will be. He might know more than the average Joe, being immortal but... so far? I like 'im.
3) I was looking for a good love song but I got lazy and just settled for that song. They played it at like every basketball game I had to go to. Lol.
Drunken Ageha, incoming.

Ageha: "Wait... WHAT?!" O/////O
How she ended up sitting beside Hanami-san, she'd never know, but here she was, sitting right next to the person in question. She looked down at the bottle of sake on the table and glared at it a bit. She had a bit of a love hate relationship with sake. She loved drinking it but when she woke up the next day, things were never quite the same with the people she'd been drinking with. Maybe... it was best she didn't.

She let out a long sigh and looked at the women around the table. Asuka-san had already left, though Ageha could only guess as to why. She looked over at the woman seated next to her. You really are oblivious, eh? Ageha told her in her thoughts. She shook her head. She almost felt bad for Asuka... She felt bad for herself... She let out a small chuckle. Chalk that one up to being seduced by beauty. That was what it was, right? Hanami-san was just beautiful. There... Ageha shook her head again. No. there was another reason she liked her and she didn't know why she could feel it, but something about Hanami-san felt... familiar. Something about her made Ageha feel warm again. She sighed. Stop thinking about it, Ageha. She told herself and picked up the cup placed in front of her and downed it. Her eyes grew big as she did so. ...Sake. She'd just had... sake.

She sat for a few minutes staring at the table and her cup, her cheeks growing more and more red by the second. Her mind was blank and the room was already starting to spin a bit. She looked up with a smile on her face at the other women at the table. Suddenly, they weren't recognizable anymore, they all looked like... like... Cherry-sama? Ageha tilited her head slightly at the image of the woman. She was a homely woman with dark red hair that ran down the length of her back. She'd been... Ageha's first love back in the brothel. She'd given Ageha a place to stay, a warm place in her bed where the bad men could not get to her. Maybe she'd been foolish, but Cherry-sama had really been that person for her. The person that comforted her and gave her a place where she felt safe and secure. A small goofy smile formed on her face as she looked at the many Cherry-sama's near her. One sat right next to her. She yelled out, "Cherry-sama!" and fell into the woman's arms, smiling as she nuzzled her face against the woman's chest. "I mithed you!" She yelled again, her words already beginning to slur. She pulled herself up and lazily looked up into the eyes of her former lover. "I love you, Cherry-sama." She mumbled before placing a small kiss on the woman's lips. With that, she fell, already out and sleeping in the priestess' lap.
