She looked at him, her head tilted at the name. Casey? She said it a few times, playing with the name in her mouth, molding it, seeing how it felt. After a few moments, she lifted her head up a bit and smiled up at him. "I like it! Then, from now on, my name is Casey!" She told him, already dancing circles around him.

As she did so, she asked him. "So... What now, Booker? Are we going to go explore?!" She asked, excitement in her voice. She felt genuine happy now, being with this man. Part of her understood why and part of her was still confused. It was weird. It was as if she knew everything and then nothing at all. She didn't know how to describe it, it didn't make any sense. She knew everything there was to know about everything except for herself. She supposed that was normal and something she'd have to figure out on her own. Maybe that was just a part of being human, the chance to learn new things.
Julie let out a soft sigh at his response. She knew she was but with her paranoia it always helped to have it confirmed. She couldn't help that she was like that, she'd always been for as long as she could remember. She knew she thought too lowly of herself but she couldn't help it. She always saw what sort of bad things could happen to her. She was the complete opposite of her pokemon, too afraid to take a chance.

She nodded and turned to face Blair, a smile on her face. "It's nice to meet you." She told him after taking the breath like he'd suggested. "I'm Julie. J-Julie Smithwood." She told him, stuttering a bit. She'd almost forgot to tell him her last name, though... would it have even mattered? Still, she didn't want to seem rude. She blinked a bit, his last statement finally processed. He used to work with Professor Birch? What had made him stop? She felt pressured to ask but at the same time she had many things she'd rather not talk about so she assumed the same for him.

"Let me call Piko over and we can go inside..." She told him, sending him a quick smile before calling over her pokemon over. She turned to Piko, bent down with her hands on her knees and slapped them, yelling out, "Piko!" The young eevee looked up, it's ears perking up. It called out to her and then ran, well more like bounced, it's way over to her. She chuckled at him and picked him up, preferring to carry him in her arms. She looked over at Blair and then at the pokemon near Blair, a Gallade. She smiled at the pokemon warmly and then looked back at Blair to wait for a response. She could have gone in herself but she, again, didn't want to appear rude.
I have so many RPs now, that I'm starting to put why I don't post as much on my Sig. So if you there, it'll give you my status. Be it, Sleepy, sickly, too tired, working, or able to RP.
Ageha looked around, a blank expression on her face. She couldn't really explain what just happened, not that she'd want to. She simply took in a deep breath sighing. She winced as her expanding chest caused the wounds in her shoulders to bleed a bit more, the pain shooting down her body. She watched as the others licked their wounds, trying their best to heal back up. One of the women still lay on the ground, presumably knocked out. Ageha simply stared, her eyes blank.

It ended too quickly... but then... I don't want to fight against spirits.

She let out another sigh, again wincing at the pain. She had to stop doing that, sighing. It wasn't long before she was standing, though she really didn't know where to go from there. She wanted to walk over to them, to ask for help, but she also felt it in her best interest to lick her own wounds. But then... She needed to keep an eye on the princess, it was her job after all. Another exasperated sigh, another wince of pain. Her brows were furrowed now, angry with herself for being injured. She simply stood, unsure of what to do, angry at herself and a bit... bored.
She looked over, watching Pakuna walk up to where the band should be a pick up a harp. She smiled slightly when he began playing.

Good... We all need something like that to keep the mood calm.

She looked down at her hand, rubbing them together nervously. She took in a deep breath and let it out slowly, trying to get herself to calm down, both her anger and her fear. Somehow she didn't think it'd be very productive right now to worry about such things.

Just... take it one day at a time. Pretend it's just like regular life and that you're okay. This is a basketball game, a kendo match. You have to show them you can do it. I'm not some weak female.

She sighed and turned to look at Donovan who was now talking to himself. She smiled and chuckled at him as the line went down. Soon, they'd be at the front.

"I believe we can." She told him, sending him a determined look in her eyes, showing him that she shared his determination, though not for the same reasons. She didn't want to be there for others, she wanted to be there for herself. She was doing this for herself, she always had been. Having friends to protect was a bonus, one she thought she could handle.

She turned to see they were at the front of the line. "Uhm, we have a reservation?" She told the NPC. It tilted it's head at her.

"A reservation? What's the name?" the female NPC asked, pulling up a menu.

"R-Rika." Rika replied, her heart beat growing.

"Ah! It's right here. Here are you keys!" She told Rika, her smile bright. Rika nodded and took the keys, motioning for Donovan and Pakuna to follow her to the hallway. When they were both there, she handed them their keys.

"We're in room number 5, here are your keys." She told them.

God, I hope she got us a bedroom with three beds or something....

Rika walked over to the room and used the key to open the door, walking inside. As she entered, she looked around. It wasn't much but it would do. The walls were wooden and there were two queen-sized beds on either side of the room. She smiled to herself and took a bed for herself, sitting down.

"See, it all worked out." She said, giggling awkwardly.

"Hmm..." She hummed, listening to his words as she looked around. He had a point... "Yeah. This house seems to have been through so much, maybe I'm just feeling that..." She told herself, trailing off.

She spun around at his next question, a bright smile on her face. "I don't mind at all! Just... make it a good one." She told him, giggling and sending him a big grin.

Why don't I remember my name? Don't I have one?

She sighed, pushing the thought away. Right now, all she needed was him, Booker. His name for her would be enough. She didn't even question why he was the only person or thing she really knew about. She felt akin to a small child, though she seemed to know a few things about the world. Like how to use a cell phone and how to drive a car. She also knew how old she was. The realization washed over her and she lit up, looking over at Booker.

"I know how old I am! I'm nineteen!" She shouted, excited that she knew something. She looked up at him, smiling, happy for herself.
Paris chuckled, waving Lulu off. "You're fine. I appreciate it." He said, send a warm smile to his friend. "I think I will try the art club. It'll at least be very similar." He explained, sending Lulu a grin. He chuckled again and walked off in the direction of the art club booth. There was one guys sitting at the booth, messing with something on a canvas. Paris shifted his position a bit to get a better look. The guy was painting a picture of... a dress?

"Hey..." Paris began and sent the guy a brief smile. "Whatcha workin' on?" He asked, looking over quizzically.

"Well, I'm drawing the dress for the female character I've been doodling." He explained, pulling out a sketch pad and pushing it Paris' way. On the page were several different drawings of the same girl. She had long wavy hair, big eyes and her face was speckled with freckles. Paris smiled as he looked at it.

"It's amazing." Paris replied, putting the pad back down and grabbing the registration clipboard. He signed his name and email and then set it back down. "Thanks. I'll... see in club then?" He asked, turning to walk away.

"Of course, I'm Derrick. I'll look forward to seeing you around... Paris!" Derrick replied, looking down to see Paris' name. Paris nodded slightly and then walked back over to Lulu, a bright smile on his face. "There. Now I feel fulfilled." He told his friend. "Hey, where's Marc?" He asked, looking around for his roommate. "We probably need to go about seeing where our room is soon." He explained, pausing to sigh. "Can't believe we both forgot our room number. We were just there not two hours ago." He continued, rolling his eyes at himself.
Julius smiled up at their waitress, his browns eyes smiling up at her expectantly. She was very pretty and her eyes drew him in.

"Ah, yes. I'll have a water and so will my companion." He told her, finally snapping back into reality. He turned to look at Cedric, to talk to him. Cedric, meanwhile, was trying to hide his angry red face.

How can he look at her like that? I mean... He's never looked at anyone like that before, has he?

Cedric sighed and sent Julius an awkwardly placed smile.

"You alright? I hope you don't mind water. We don't need to be drinking and you don't look like you could handle much anyway." Julius said, chuckling loudly. He meant what he said to. Cedric was far too small to drink much of anything and Julius needed the boy alert. He'd probably make a lecture out of this. "You see, if you get drunk, you're senses go down, yeah? So, what if some assassin comes into our room late at night and your too drunk to realize much less fight your way out." He explained, his expression growing a bit more serious. Cedric blinked, watching him. She'd never seen her brother like this. He was always friendly and kind. She'd never seen him so... serious.

"I... I understand." Cedric told Julius, turning to look at the other people in the inn. "Aren't we going to get a room?" Cedric asked, curious. She didn't much feel like sleeping on the ground, so she had to hope her brother was smart enough to bring money for rooms.

"Nope! I have a tent and two bedrolls for us." He exclaimed, winking at Cedric. "We need to save money, yanno? Besides, why pay for something when something else is free!" He continued, chuckling. Cedric tried his best not to show Julius his disgust.

Well, this will be interesting...

Cedric sighed and shook his head, smiling at Julius. "If you say so, sir." He said, his voice much too small for a young boy. Julius sent him a glance but didn't make anything of it. He was smart, but maybe not the brightest of the bunch.
I don't really mind. If it really starts to bother me, I'll let you know. It's not really even the first person that bothers me, it's the tense. I'm not sure I like going from writing in past tense to suddenly reading in present. But, it's something I can live with.

I'm pretty carefree and amiable as you'll find. If you want to write in first person present tense, I have not the power to stop you. I just prefer the way third person past sounds. Some authors write novels in first person, so I don't have in problem with it. It's a matter of preference. :)
Either you must live in a different time zone or you're up waaaay too early for my taste. It's like 7AM where I am right now. Heh. (Doesn't help that I didn't get to bed until like 2AM...)

Anyway, I have a different Int Chek now. I suppose I should update my siggy, eh?

...

I'll do that later. Too lazy now.

Anyway. I have a lot of 1x1s now, but maybe sometime we can do one together. That is, unless you're just really itching to do one. Here's the new one. I feel it's a bit cleaner and explains more. It also has an example of my writing style a bit down, so there's that. But I already know your style from Stalwart. Lol. I think it's suits me just fine. (Nice story too, wish I had time to read it but I don't have time to read much of any books these days. Too busy in school or writing them myself. :P)
