At the young Gojira's response, Ghidorah's smirk only widened. Was she truly so insecure of her own power? Even if he was as powerful as he was, he expected Junior to atleast put up a fight before trying to flee. Of course, he couldn't allow her to alert the older Gojira to his presence, so he probably should-
Before he could even raise a finger, his target was covered with a familiar psychic shield, followed by a deluge of spores from the skies above. The twitch of a finger was the immediate response, a narrowing of his gaze. The Golden Dragon held out a hand, palm facing up to allow one of the spores to land upon it. Before the poisonous object even touched him, he could already recall it's texture and feeling as his eyes filled with cold anger, sustaining his cocky smile in a juxtapose of his true feelings.
Nothing ever went his way, did it?
He would bet his entire lifespan that the source of both anomalies was both an annoyance and object of interest, Mothra, without needing to even look upwards to check. The familiar sound of her voice only moments later only confirmed his thoughts. She was a strange subject of thought, not quite as maddening of the Queen of Monsters, but confusing in her own right. Besides Gojira, she had been the most grating on his nerves, aiding Gojira when the Queen couldn't beat him on her own, covering him in webbing and stopping him in his tracks. For all intents and purposes, he should hate her just as much, but there was something in his psyche, in his inner consciousness that could not see her in the spotlight of demise.
It was the strangest thing, a hidden feeling he couldn't describe. It was not love, the cosmos know that he was incapable of such a thing. No, it was more like a buried recollection, stuck underneath a millennia of memories.
Ghidorah steals a glance at the young Gojira, momentarily weighing his options before shooing her away with his free hand, heaving a sigh. He supposed he could put off his plans for now. What a shame, giving Gojira information about Destoroyah's whereabouts and a backhanded apology would just have to wait until he could get Junior alone once again.
There was no way he was speaking to her face, she would annihilate him within moments of hearing his "apology".
His gaze turned skyward, a heated glare sent at the source of the interruption.
"And what, prey tell, are you doing here, bishop?" he asked pointedly, the title given to the flying kaiju was spat out in irritation, barely bellying the annoyance hidden within his stance. A crackle of electricity jumped from finger to finger, bouncing between each digit as he awaited her response. If she was looking for a fight, he had no trouble with obliging her.
