why thank you thank you :) A character I created once was an sorcerer with the ability to shapeshift into a dragon. A friend of mine found that for me and I thought it fit perfectly!! I also couldn't agree more! Interest and commitment/effort is all that really matters to me, not only as a gm, but as a participant in any rp that I'm in :) Good luck with your own endeavors!!!

I am comfortable. I love it when people are immersed with their characters, as long as they don't end up mixing up IC and OOC. Most of my troubles with people came from the latter.
I also like it when people respect character integrity and pretend to be their characters, rather than just using them as avatars to reach their desires (erotic roleplayers are very often guilty of this. I do engage in smut, but I still believe that character integrity is very important)
I like paragraphic roleplaying, and I like long posts, however... When something absolutely dwarfs my post, I start feeling guilty of wasting that person's talent. Not to mention, when the long post has lots of "padding" (irrelevant information you cannot reply to), sometimes I may think like "How does one reply to that?"

I extremely respect and agree with everything here. I am currently running a fantasy rp. We're in a bit of a downtime/character development but this may also be a great time to introduce new characters. We'll be starting the second arch in our story in a couple of weeks when some main players return from vacation. The rp is pretty casual, but that doesn't mean we don't have many extremely talented writers contributing. We have quite a healthy amount of players already participating, but please don't let that intimidate you. If you're interested, give us a look, the link is in my signature :)

Hi there and welcome to the forums! There are so many people here and so many different worlds to engulf yourself in, I'm sure you'll fit in just fine :D Happy rp'ing :)

Waeldeshore 1.0 [CONCLUDED]

good morning my pretties! I'm at work, but it doesn't seem like it's going to be a ridiculously busy day. I'm going to try to make a post hopefully within the next couple of hours. With @ArenaSnow and @boomlover on vacation, I don't want this rp to die, and as @The Fated Fallen said, it would be a great time to get in some character development, even perhaps new characters if others want to join. We do have a pretty big cast, but if there are any who are looking to join, I welcome you :) I'm also going to use this time to introduce a couple of new characters, perhaps even bring in the big evil :p however I don't imagine it would get to a battle until they've both returned.

Also, just as a reminder, in two weeks, I myself will be a bit scarce in the ic posts as I'll have a house guest for about 4, 4 1/2 days :)

If anyone has any questions, comments, rants etc, feel free to post them or send me a message :)
