I will suggest that @wispered and @agentmanatee do a collab post if you want to carry a proper conversation. I didn't cover it in the OP, but I highly encourage collabs for instances of long conversation between two characters or really whenever you guys want to work with each other. It especially helps when you want to give posters who haven't posted a chance to get in the round.

So I have this funny story to share.

There was once this RP I made--eerily similar to this--and a certain member wanted to join, but they were afraid that advanced might be too much because they were used to doing casual tier and such. So I let them join because, what the hell, why should I have a problem with it, ya know? I put the IC up and watched the posts flow, all the while waiting for this one person just to see how they would fare. Then that person turned up and they finally posted and I was excited to see how they'd done and everything, you know, maybe not expecting too too much. Then I read the post. And I realized. I got punk'd. This person had clearly been in advanced before.

I think that member's name was like... @IcePezz or something similar?

Damn, that sucks. That used to happen to me some years ago when the site was going through its first changes and it would go down every few hours in the day. That crap literally killed like two of my RPs at the time. From then on I just copy and paste every post of mine to a word program as I'm writing to make sure that I don't lose anything major.

I've never tried beta waves, but I do agree about the music with lyrics. I have the same problem in that the lyrics become the focus and I can't really focus on what I'm trying to write and everything gets jumbled. I can listen to instrumentals though. In the end, I just usually try to get into a completely silent environment when I prepare to write something.
