I don't believe there's a point in arguing what's better... Science or literature... It's like arguing if peanut butter or jelly is better when they go so well together  Like I said before... It's a matter of energies... You have too much yang you're gonna enjoy more sciency stuff... Too much yin... you enjoy more wordy stuff... I can appreciate the wonder and marvel of mathematics... the golden ration, the Fibonacci sequence, Pi... without actually enjoying doing math... Just like sciency people can enjoy and appreciate literature without enjoying creative writing.

Your Burden Shall Be Mine: thanks for the clarification :D is this relieving a physical, mental or spiritual burden? Hehe, sorry about that... I'm finding out I really do have trouble quantifying things. In my mind they always appear pretty self-evident  I would say it would relieve the burden one takes upon themselves through the sacrifice, be it physical, mental or spiritual. On a case to case basis.

Know The Joy Of Sacrifice Huitzilipochtli: Sorry to bother you about this one again, can you please define what you mean by awareness? Like does this improve the quality of their senses, make them more perceptive, or just happy about the experience they're going through? No bother  The joy part is actually purely for narrative purposes. I guess we could view it as an increased perceptiveness. It is just that in the joy of realizing what one is sacrificing and for what, they would get hyperaware, and yes get a boost to all their senses.

My Life For Yours: ahh excellent :D Are you sure you want to keep the stipend about the starkissed part? You don't have to include that for balancing unless you want it for the lore/aesthetic of your character :D It would keep with the lore/esthetic, yes... But I was also thinking it would defeat the purpose of the RP as well... I mean if we could use our powers to save our starkissed  I would say if I am to use it for my starkissed it would only feel right for me if it's limited to every, let's say 5 for example, incarnations.

I think for me the hardest part with the abilities is to keep them narrative appealing without having them sound too mechanical, but at the same time be specific enough as to understand their practical effect 

What of the clan... Do you not need me to add anything to it?
