One minute Shem'et was looking about her, claws out, her body in battle-ready posture, and the next one everything was happening at once. The colorful elf from Barthem's shop showed up after having followed her into the woods with an intent to help her with both of her errands. And then a green something was whizzing past her, followed by a large rock, and by a frustrated looking orc, cursing up a storm. The crafter was confused to say the least. She turned her keen feline gaze this way and that to get a better grasp of the situation. The green something turned out to be a small pixie, who sported a suspiciously mischievous look about them. Shem turned toward the orc. Somehow she thought she got the gist of what had happened. Considering the orc's irritable cursing when he'd burst onto the scene.

Shem'et put herself between the pixie and the orc, who looked mighty intimidating with that ore he wielded as a club. The tabaxi raised her hands, retracting her claws. "That we are indeed, Master orc!" She began with her most benign and soothing tone of voice. "We've come from Frontier Town on an errand for Master Bookie of the Black Mines. I am Shem'et, a crafter, and this..." Shem indicated at the peacock of an elf beside her. "... is Master..." Shem fell in stunned silence, realizing the feathery elf hadn't really given his name. "... um, a friend of mine who just arrived in Frontier Town and we have come to the woods in search of iron sand at the behest of Master Bookie as I've said. And as a side task we have been asked by Barthem the merchant to collect as much Greenwarish as we can." Shem indicated the disturbed herb by her feet.

The tabaxi crafter was praying the pixie behind her wouldn't do anything else to set off the orc again. She could tell by looking at the tiny creature, it had had it's fun on the back of the poor orc. "Is there something we can do for you, Master orc? May I ask what put you in such a foul mood?"

@Lucius Cypher @Black Keys
*eyes @Naril/@Penny suspiciously* Mhm...
I like how Malone was beginning to turn out. And of course, Morgan needs to be seduced... @Naril *wink*wink*nudge*nudge*

@Penny But at the moment, she really needs to be looked over by Ellie, since she is unconscious and shouted something suspicious before fainting
@Lucius CypherMore like I was wondering if there are any visible signs of why the orc was chasing the pixie. But I do plan on asking questions. In any case, I'd like to do insight on both of them to gauge their state of mind.

20 insight on the pixie and 16 on the orc.

I can't for the life of me figure out why I have +4 on insight in my sheet. Even with proficiency it should be +3, so that's how I rolled it.
@Lucius CypherInsight check to try and determine what's the quarrel between the pixie and the orc. Or would that be investigation?
@Lucius CypherYAAAAASH! I totally saw iiiiiit! Hugs that 22.

And once we know what the light is, we'll see about the other stuff
@Lucius Cypher Can Shem'et still see this green light? Can she tell what it is?

Can Shem do a general assessment of the situation to maybe determine how to react? You know, like, what the fuck is going on and how do I react sort of a thing?

Also, what time of the day is it by now?
We seem to be missing Jason...
With both hands and feet for it!
Shem'et tried her very best to follow the road while keeping an eye out for any landmarks she could add to the map. She had thought that it wouldn't be that difficult drawing a map, considering she often had to sketch schematics for various crafting inventions. As it turned out, it was way harder than she'd imagined. She was stopping more often to get her bearings and when she finally arrived at the treeline it was all she could do to walk in a straight path. And yet somehow she had the feeling she was going in circles. Did I get lost?! The crafter couldn't get even a hint of where those iron sand deposits were.

Luckily, though, she did manage to spot the herb Barthem had asked her to look for. But something was off. It looked like something had been nibbling on it. The stem was bent and a flower had been torn off and lying on the ground. Shem immediately unsheathed her claws and took a fighting stance, her feline eyes scanning the immediate vicinity. She noticed some sort of a wooden pipe not too far from the herb, on the ground, but she remained vigilant and decided to leave it for later inspection. Her safety was of more pressing concern at the moment!
