To be fair he can fight if he is desperate, but yes it would be more the situation of run away screaming.

That would be a hilarious battle, him running away Jack Sparrow style and slapstick ensures. Don't know if he would loose miserably or the slapstick would somehow allow him to non-fatally take down all the clones.
@ImportantNobody Oh. OK.

It's time you face...the Evvie clone army! Mwahahaha! Scion can't even attack cute girls so he'd be dead in seconds.
so whenever you are feeling up for it.

After Barti gets through with you.
Hmm. I don't suppose I could arrange a fight with someone? I have currently got one character sort of duo. It's a bit of an experimental character, but I think it could be a fun concept to run. If anyone wants to try something unusual.

I'll want to fight you later.

So, shall we start the practice fight now?

Me Vs Important, Imaginary Vs Atomika?

Sure

So who would pair with who then? I'm game with anyone, really.

As am I.

We could use some of you more experienced at realistic fighting to check our fight every now and then to see if we don't do anything crazy, if you don't mind. Of course if one of us doing the fight is experienced then that would settle that as well, but it wouldn't hurt to get more people's opinions.

I don't think it will work out that well - after all, it is our knowledge that this fight is meant to put to test, and it may not necessarily fit the skills our characters supposedly have. I'd say that Imaginary has the character with most training, while you have the character with least - but for all i know, you both may have an equal level of insight into the workings of close-ranged combat, which would contradict the context your characters' backgrounds provide.

I haven't been in a real fight, the same as my character (who wins mainly by standing there and using her powers to overwhelm them), so we'd be in the same boat, likely making the same mistakes. Having a character expert at melee fighting would be harder to play as due to any mistake you make, which is reasonable for you to make it, would make the character seem like an idiot.
<Snipped quote by ImportantNobody>

What exactly do you mean by being the better fighter? The characters having more knowledge, or the match's participants?

<Snipped quote by Rilla>

Well, it most likely will be just two 1v1s going on in the same thread, but seeing as they will both have the same goal in mind, which combat practice, having them both in the same place seems nice.

The fighters. The spartan would run circles around my character trying to learn how to properly fight in melee.

Both fighting in the same vicinity would make sense. They can watch each other if they want but would mostly focus on their own opponent.
If it's sparing practice 4 way and two seem to be better fighters, maybe it's some sort of buddy system where they help out the other two people spar?
Cho just went toe to toe with a Gothi Viking, while being a war trained solider.

Be careful. He'll gut you.

"I'm here for the sparring practice..." (walks in on a blood soaked arena) "oh my god!"

Fine for deciding tied for lowest 8 who'd like to participate, but taking from last year's score is still the best option from my opinion. Not sure if that's an agreed point or not.
