I actually just realized that this sounds a lot like the plot Madoka★Magica. Are you Kyuubey?

I guess it is kind of like it without the magical girls and there can only be one of these people with the wish thingy. There could be a Kyuubey-like figure in this who tries to corrupt the people into making horrible decisions for his own personal gain, edging people on by showing himself to them in the back of their minds the closer they come to getting the item.

This actually seems really sad to peruse a wish in hopes of accomplishing a life goal. Only to lose sight of that goal and yourself along the way. I would call it a tragedy.

Indeed. Luckily, if you and your wish are pure of heart then the wish can't really be corrupted but it does still slowly corrupt the wisher as the power flows in them. Most can't remain pure enough though once they get obsessed with the hunt and getting their wish.
Another persistent world other then the main multiverse could be good. I'm inspired by a fighting game called skullgirls but stuff is changed. For this roleplay, people have to fight each other in order to find and claim a certain mystical item that grants any wish but in a corrupted way, corrupting the wisher as well, although it does technically fulfill any wish it can. Due to not being called skullgirl the corrupted person won't be called that either, but basically this roleplay's equivalent of a skullgirl gets a huge power boost for winning and must be defeated in order for the next person to get their own wish fulfilled. Being the skullgirl equivalent is an awesome reward for beating all the other players to the prize and you can wreck awesome havoc on all the competition who tries to gang up on you, but you can still potentially be defeated and start the process over.
I just thought of a funny character. Someone who talks like a pirate but isn't a pirate.

LOL. I have something even better, love.

P.S. I'm a guy but am mistaken for a girl a lot online (unless you knew this already, I'm not judging. ). It doesn't help that I tend to stink at making male characters so I only have around 30% male characters and they take forever for me to get a character sheet out for them.
<Snipped quote by ImportantNobody>May I be of some help with it?

That could be a cool battlefield. My guy is volcano-like moreso then being in an actual volcano, but this would work.
I'm in a couple unranked matches at the moment, this is prime time for you nubs to catch up.

Still wanting to do out volcano matchup of doom?
I may or may not be too busy with other fights at the moment.
So. What's the stitch? Anyone down to break a new guy in?

I dare you to try and use the Dominator.
@ImportantNobodyIt would be a fight to remember, or one people would wish to painfully forget.

For him to stand a chance, even with slapstick on his side, the clones would need to retain the original's intelligence.
