Ah, nevermind. I guess building new worlds is just too taboo for something like roleplaying.

in all seriousness, I understand. it's just intimidating to dive into "the multiverse" will all of these rivalries going on already. just some tournament for newbies would be fun, get our feet wet

The main problem is that there were tons of worlds gathering dust and spreading people out. We can building new worlds over time.

The actual multiverse hasn't really started yet in it's reboot. My characters haven't gotten anything typed up yet in ways of rivalries even if I do have some plans in the works.

I was thinking of permadeath or something

respawning and stuff
kinda removes the weight of it all

People can have permadeath if you choose but loosing your character in the multiverse forever, if you really like them and want to use them some more, wouldn't be fun for a lot of people.

You're thinking of The Cask of Amontillado

You're probably right. The revenge plot sounded similar to that so it got me confused.

We've heard this before...

This weekend the curse will be lifted! For almost certain! (87% chance)
Going to start the storyline that leads to the Angar-Rylla capturing Skallagrim. Seconds and fighters no longer fighting can get involved.

Maybe this is how Evvie gets epically killed?
Posted the PC, though still working on background stuff. Wasn't sure if I was suppose to post it in the CS area or OoC first, so I hope it's alright if I posted it in the prior. Also...Hah, Important, I beat you! :p

Noooo! Well, I had my chance. Good job. I'll try to get mine out on this weekend. Te curse of getting a male character sheet finished is still running strong.
Unless we do time skips well into the future, I'll stick with teen Evvie and maybe adult version can be challenged if someone really wants to.

I was thinking of a cool death battle idea between Elsa and Sub-zero. Some people claim sub would win but I'm not convinced.
even if it doesn't necessarily end with brutal executions all around a stalemate would be fine.

Why not have both?
Something something powerwank.

Overpowered is love, overpowered is life.

Certain magic systems in my multiverse would indeed have different ways of interacting with physics and magic rules, so I concede a point from a long time back about something similar. However, past a certain level, all magic would begin to disregard normal physics as a universal fail-safe so you don't destroy reality. My multiverse would seem to have a speed advantage as a result of getting away with this thanks to the fail-safe.

Speaking of making Evvie older/more experienced, I have a few problems that would need to work out.

1. In the nexus she's already shown up as a child, which the tournament is incredibly likely to be canon within the upcoming multiverse. She'd have to be killed in the tournament, die again outside of the tournament, and reincarnate as an adult Evvie in time for the multiverse. Reincarnating as an adult wouldn't be out of the question completely if something strange happens, although she'd also need to maintain memories through this reincarnation to be considered an adult still. Well, a single strange event could account for both of these thing if you guys really wanted to push this idea.

2. Her personality sort of relies on her being as young as possible, her being in mid to upper teens already pushing it. Seeing an adult behave like she does would draw many strange looks and feel out of place. She could still have an interesting personality while dropping other personality traits of hers, although I like her personality now so would hate to see some of it dropped so soon without exploring it in a long lasting multiverse.

3. The root of Evvie's main weaknesses is intellect. She'd still have some weaknesses like cold but would be much, much harder to exploit and could be considered cheap without further nerfing on her abilities.

EDIT: Maybe Evvie was invited to the nexus as a secret plot by a dreamer to have her killed and reincarnated into her goddess form somehow, only not as a transformation but as a base form that she slowly grows more and more powerful in. Don't know why they'd need to conspire her murder like this rather than just doing it themselves though. Or how they could force a goddess reincarnation.
I'd probably want a few more characters.

Should this be a free roleplay after all or casual?
@Winter05, @Slendy, cant help but feel your sigs are similar. The two must fight to the death for dominance!

@Descartes, I was indeed kind of going off a similar phrase when coming up with the idea.
