With a simple rucksack slung over his right shoulder, Robert made his way down into the basement. He assumed that school would be in session and thus he made his way down. In fact, he had observed the entire phase of introductions and claiming codenames event which was so very important yet so antiquated. He remained silent, a small smirk was on his face. There is a new student who can control fire. A person that can 'take someone's breath away', and someone that can teleport. It seems Professor Latour has his hands full once again.

Deciding to remain silent, he was playing a game with himself where he was trying to predict whether it would be a student or the professor to notice his presence first...

History:

Robert grew up in a middle class family in the Midwest. Parents were in business, and thus he did not have much to worry about in terms of the materialistic side of life. Emotionally, however, his parents were not always around to make sure he got a fully and healthy development. It is not to say he is deranged, but somewhat deprived would be a good way to describe it.

Around the age of 10, he began realizing that he was different from the other children. Water seemed to dance in the palm of his hands, and he can make them move as he wished. At first, he was excited to show his parents what he can do, as any child would. However, seeing his powers, his parents were fearful at first. As he continued to grow, his parents begun to forget, or ignore, the fact that he had powers. He did not experience any major emotional trauma or other triggers that made his power run rampant. In fact, his power has been rather tame most of his life...

Time continued to pass. His parents still worked more hours than they spent at home. Robert had to figure quite a few things out himself. He was around 13 when he had his first 'girlfriend'. Young love, it was. Innocent and pure. About six months passed. Him and his 'girlfriend' were doing what every other 13 year olds were doing, which was just about nothing. Suddenly, his 'girlfriend' moved. All communications were lost. At first, he was saddened. Then he was angry. Through the sadness and rage, he discovered another facet of his powers. He realized that he can actually shift the state of water, or other liquids, between solid and gas. This power frightened him. He decided to leave his family, for their safety. He wanted to distance himself from them before the inevitable event of him losing control of his powers and doing something he regrets.

Soon after, he was about to find Professor Latour. Through his guidance, he learned to control and even amplify his powers, being able to freely control the state of liquids now. As one of his older students, Robert stays at the school, helping Processor Latour with teaching the younger students how to control their gifts.

 Appearance: 
Robert is approximately six feet tall. Athletically built, he does not come off as particularly threatening or dangerous. His hair is black, kept semi-long and loose most of the time. On occasion, he will tie it up into a small ponytail. No, he will not refer to it as a man-bun. His eyes are dark brown, and can seem like they are peering into one's soul.

Powers: Manipulation of liquids.
Robert can control the various states of a liquid. From solid to gaseous, he can manipulate them to shift from one state to the other and move as he please. Typically, he controls water, as it is almost always readily available, in one of its three states. However, he forced to, or under extreme duress, he has shown the ability to control things like blood, lava and various gases.




Personality:
Robert is generally a happy individual. He loves to chat, laugh and share with others. However, those who truly know him or those who have gotten to know his deeply, they will know that at times, his cheery exterior and bright smile is a facade, covering his deep, dark, self. He is caring, willing to sacrifice himself to the benefit of others. This also makes him easy to be taken advantage of.
