This is my character, Ophelia. This is also the needed information for your character please!

Personally: Ophelia is blunt and straightforward. She is bright and loves to share her interests with others. She is compassionate towards children and even hopes to teach one day.

Background: Ophelia used to live in a small town in Texas when she moved to the Society. She graduated from high school in 2069 and is working on becoming a teacher. Ophelia is not a fan of government or anything related. Her relationship with her family is shaky, her mother is the main reason she left home, a brash and abusive woman, who pushes people away. When Ophelia finally moved into her apartment, she began noticing all the strange habits of people in the society. No color, no music, no individuality. Everyone was simply…blank.
Looks:Long wavy hair that is a metallic lavender. Her eyes are large and a dull blue, almost like a dolls. She has a few freckles scattered across her body, her skin mostly pale. Her style is very grunge/hippy like, with fun designs and lots of colors

Extra: Ophelia had a few tattoos, none of them have meaning, she just thought that they were pretty. She has a moth on her wrist, a whale on her upper arm, a dragon on her thigh and a cyber tribal design on her spine. She also smokes and occasionally takes an edible. Her favorite drinks are Monster and Brandy.

Hello and welcome to “There are Eyes in the Walls.” In this roleplay, there are several roles up for grabs! I am still new to this format, but I am getting the hang of it, please bear with me! To formally introduce myself, I am Adeline, and I have been roleplaying for around 8 years now. I am casual about it, I believe that this is just a fun stress relief, so this is a safe and chill space! Now onto a summery of this roleplay…

Ophelia had needed a fresh start, somewhere she could get away from the stress of college and family, and one morning, a pamphlet arrived in the mail. It was for a town, describing what seemed to be a perfect little city. The tent for apartments was cheap, there were many resources, and it was secluded, which meant less stress from the outside world. Ophelia decided to move, and she did so as fast as possible. But when she got to her new home, something was off… far off. Everyone she talked to seemed to be in a trance, a mute sense of happiness. There was hardly any color, or music, nothing. Cameras lined to walls and every structure, always on.
It was so…blank. She didn’t think much of it, but when her friend visits her only to go missing, Ophelia realizes that this perfect little town was a place in hell.

My character is Ophelia, I will give more information about her when we are forming the characters more. There are a few set roles, but you get to actually form the character. Here they are-

The Friend: A loyal character who visited Ophelia, only to go missing. Where did they go? Will they escape and find out more about this society? Who knows. They are supportive and always willing to help someone with something, compassion is their strong suit.

The Guide: (roleplayerguild.com/users/veilsight) This character was born in this society and has lived there his whole life. This character will be Ophelia’s love interest. He is curious about the color and life that she talks about outside of the society and wants to warn her about the real danger she is in if she stays there.

The Basket Case: This character is from the society as well. They live in the underground of the town, finding people to save from the control the leaders have on them. They are a little crazy from being underground most of the time and having limited resources and social interaction. This is also the person that took Ophelia’s friend.

The Dictator: This person is the main antagonist and the leader of the society. They made this town at first as a safe haven for outcasts, but as the town and their power grew, so did the obsession for control. Their belief is that of everyone is quiet and blank, personality stripped from them, the world will ups be more gentle and peaceful.

There are many side characters, I can play them and if not me someone else is welcome to! You are also welcome to create your own character if none of these tickle your fancy.

This forum is for 18+ because there are mature and at time violent themes. Language is allowed, I don’t see it as a big deal, just don’t go overboard and cuss every sentence lol. If you need a break from roleplaying, that’s cool, just say that you need to go and we can either pause the roleplay or depending on the scene, keep going. I strive to make this something that isn’t a chore, you don’t need to write a whole book in response, you don’t need to be at Shakespearean level talent in writing, just give detail for the response that seems appropriate.

All of my information, my rules for roleplay am my characters are all on quotev and if anyone wants to dm me to rp, I will send over my information!
