Chari couldn't think of anyone that wouldn't be nervous about tomorrow. Those that said they weren't had to be either lying or delusional. Thinking ahead. Planning in advance. It was necessary if you wanted to survive in a place like Mistral. Grimm were not the only monsters in Remnant "Mind reading your semblance?" She retorted. It served her right thinking she could let her guard down for a moment. If she wasn't so tired, she may have even been grateful for the reminder "We...do not know each other." She had been thinking far more about just the 'soon'. Simply being here meant so much to her but it would mean nothing if she didn't take tomorrow seriously and loss her chance.

The wolf Faunus watched Fen's movements with minor intrigue wondering if he would try pulling some other 'prank' on her. It turned out he was grabbing nothing but a cloak to wrap himself with. She scoffed "Sure." glancing only briefing around them. Difficult as falling asleep had proven, it was going to be impossible with whoever this was next to her. It was time to relocate to a darker, more remote corner of the room. Patiently she waited until he appeared to doze off before picking up her things and navigating through the sea of people sleeping under her. Strange as it was, it was the first connection she made thus far. Chari found a nice spot up against a wall that should prevent any more surprise attacks.

Funny as it was, the odd boy did manage to take her mind off things. Once more she laid out her sleeping bag and crawled inside, this time sitting up against the wall as she flicked through the pages of her sketchpad. Most of them were done with a pencil but a few had shades of color blended into the picture. An old woman with her dog. A sun setting over a grassy hill. A rose with too many thorns to hold. Lily dressed up in her huntress gear. The pages towards the beginning of the book...she didn't like looking at those. Raw emotions expressed in a unrefined style. A half-smile tugged at her lips. Life sure was a wild ride. Speaking of which, tomorrow they were supposed to be assigned into teams. As long as they let her do her thing, there wouldn't be problems. It was only temporary after all.

Fen's footsteps hadn't gone entirely unnoticed by her sensitive hearing, however tired as she was and light as his steps were she paid little notice. Excitement and worry flowed over her like waves. She knew she more than deserved to be here. That her spot within these great halls was all but assured. Still, much like that glimmer of hope she had earlier there came a shard of doubt. If she didn't make it here...then what else was left for her? Luckily for Chari, that train of thought was immediately derailed by the sudden sound of a strange voice far too close for her comfort. Her long, wolf-like ear perked up as her whole body jumped having been torn out of her somewhat tranquil state. A soft, brief cry escaped her lips as her elbow pushed out against her sleeping bag. If she hadn't already slipped inside, she might have created a bigger scene than she already was.

Slowly Chari rose out of her sleeping bag, sitting up and turning to face her prankster. Her brows were furrowed and she glared in frustration at Fen, while a bit of color appeared on her cheeks at her embarrassing reaction. She briefly closed her eyes and let out a heavy sigh before opening them back up with a less annoyed but still intense look "It was." She simply replied. Chari slid the rest of her body out of the sleeping bag and sat on top it facing Fen with her legs butterfly-style. Her bright-colored eyes gave a quick once-over of Fen "There a...reason for sneaking up on me?" Chari purposefully avoided looking around the room. If she drew attention from the others in the room, she didn't want to know. She didn't want to stand out for any other reason than her skills as a huntress.

Chari breathed a sigh of relief as she exited the transport airship, breathing in the fresh and unfiltered air. She protested every time Lily dragged her onto one of those flying metal coffins. The view, if anything, made up for it as what laid out before her was something right out of the fairy tales her mother used to read to her. A tall, shimmering castle with an elegant courtyard decorated with carved pillars and carefully trimmed foliage. The whole scene felt like was laid out entirely for her despite the crowd that surrounded her. There were so many faces that she didn't recognize but it didn't bother her as she flowed wit the crowd. It was easier when they were just a faceless mob.

She wore a sleeveless black, formal coat that hugged her arms and chest but loosened up around the wrists and waist. The trim of the coat was lined with white fur-like material. Its length ended around mid-thigh, where it revealed a pair of simple dress pants that were one shade lighter than her coat. Her footwear was a pair of black leather combat boots with silver accents. The only color in her entire outfit were her eyes that purposefully avoided making eye-contact with anyone for too long. Her suitcase was not as large as some of the others as she took the time to meticulously select everything she brought. Lily had tried to sneak a few extra items that were easily discovered. It did come as a small comfort to see a few other Faunus among the new arrivals. A small glimmer of hope rose in her that perhaps the issues of old world hadn't come to Beacon's gates.

Chari left her luggage with the man that came around collecting it from everyone, offering a simple nod and smile as thanks. It was strange to the point of uncomfortable to have such a service provided to her. She quickly glanced back over her shoulder as she entered through the main gates, a remnant of a old habit, before moving farther into the main hall. The inside was somehow even more impressive than its exterior and Chari could barely form a thought as her eyes wandered from wall to wall. They stopped immediately upon seeing the man clad in armor standing up on the pedestal in front. For a moment, she didn't believe what she was seeing. He looked like a real knight! It was only he began speaking did she acknowledge that he was indeed real. While other might have found his speech boring, Chari hung on every word he spoke and more ready then ever to start her training as a huntress.

Chari sat crossed-legged on her sleeping bag as he held a sketch pad in her lap, dressed in a black long-sleeve shirt with white buttons and trimming with a pair of black pajama pants. Her cheek was firmly pressed against a small flashlight on her shoulder as her hand moved a pencil across the currently blank page. The image of Beacon Academy as she stepped off the dropship was something she couldn't get out of her mind so she decided to put it on paper. It also help eased the stress and worry about tomorrow. This was her one shot to make her mark on the world by helping those that need it the most.

It was proving impossible to sleep despite her going a little overboard when it came to the feast. Perhaps it wasn't the best word for it, but she had never smelled so much delicious food in one place before. Questions upon questions danced around her mind like a chaotic ballet but as the scene on her sketch pad developed, the questions soon faded. There were so many people in the hall that the silence was almost disturbing. It was...quiet here. No acidic smells from noxious fumes or the mixed screams of a busy nightlife. It was so quiet that she felt her ear twitch at the slightest disturbance of this strange peace. The so-called 'calm before the storm' perhaps?

As the minutes went past, the movement of her hand began to slow and her lines started to deviate. It was the first time she would be falling asleep next to complete strangers and she was more than hesitant. However, she couldn't afford to be exhausted tomorrow. Reluctantly, she set her sketch pad and pencil aside and crawled into her sleeping bag. Beacon Academy had to be the safest place in the world anyway, right? Even so, all she seemed to be able to do for now is stare through the large window at the night sky.
