Pokemon: Kalos

It was now Shiranui's turn to battle and his opponent was a 16-year-old red-haired boy with a blue shirt who sent a Murkrow into battle. "That Murkrow reminds me of Kyouchou," Shiranui mused, thinking about his Honchkrow, "Honoh, I choose you!" He sent out his Fletchling and the battle was on.
"Murkrow, Pursuit!"
"Honoh, Peck!" The Fletchling put his Gale Wings ability to work and gave Murkrow a swift peck before Murkrow tackled the robin.
"Murkrow, Wing Attack!"
"Honoh, time to test out that new move we worked on! Acrobatics!" The Fletchling let out a high-pitched chirp before he started to glow. Honoh grew more than a foot in height before the glow subsided to reveal a Fletchinder.
"Fletchinder, the Ember Pokémon and the evolved form of Fletchling. The hotter the flame sac on its belly, the faster it can fly, but it takes some time to get the fire going." Honoh executed a few aerial stunts before dive bombing Murkrow into a knockout.

Shiranui also gained the status of Baron after receiving his own white cape.

"I believe it," stated Shiranui, "From what I've been reading about the Cyllage Gym, Grant uses Pokémon restored from local fossils and he isn't the only gym leader to do so."

"He must be good if he lasted this long against Diantha," commented Shiranui.

"You're the gym leader of the Shalour Gym if I remember rightly," stated Shiranui to Korrina.

"Something tells me the Gardevoir's trainer is someone high in the Kalos League's echelons," stated Shiranui after seeing the battle take place, "Type-wise, it's not looking good for your father."

"I agree," replied Shiranui.

"Besides Oberon?" reminded Shiranui, "Ralts are immune to Dragon-type moves."

"So what do you want this Eevee to evolve into?" asked Shiranui.

"That looks like a Zigzagoon egg if I'm not mistaken," stated Shiranui, "As for mine, I've battled a Pokémon with this colouration back at the Johto League."

"Hello," Shiranui greeted, "I'm Shiranui Tsukiko. My father told me you guys have something for me."
"Ah yes, we do," replied the Day Care Man. Shiranui was surprised at the Kalos Day Care Couple being young Pokémon Breeders. The Day Care Lady presented Shiranui a lavender and mauve egg with a card attached to it.
"Thank you," said Shiranui, receiving the egg and looking at the card, which read '私は息子さん、あなたの誇りに思っています。'.
"Thank you, father," he said to himself, knowing exactly what the card said.
