"Because Close Combat will cause both Defence stats to lower," added Shiranui in case Khuda heard their banter.
"That looked like Close Combat," commented Shiranui, seeing if Mankey suffered the move's negative effect of having both its Defence stats lowered.
"Know your Pokémon's capabilities and use them the best way you know how," added Shiranui, "Confidence is the key."
"Don't worry, Khuda, your Mankey will be fine against Roxanne," Shiranui encouraged.
