"Rapid Spin!" Hoshi spun rapidly, digging the Stealth Rock out of the ground and striking Arcanine. Arcanine stomped the ground and Hoshi was shaken for a lot of damage and slowed.

Arcanine was damaged by the Stealth Rock. "Hoshi, Reflect Type!" Hoshi changed its colours again, this time adopting a red and orange colour scheme. Arcanine breathed out a scorching flame, but Hoshi was resistant to the move.
Shiranui smirked as Hoshi was inundated with toxins it was now immune to due to being the same type as Aggron. "Hoshi, finish it off with Brine!" The Starmie jumped into the air and spun around again, this time spraying salt water out of its limbs.
"Hoshi, Reflect Type!" The Starmie adopted a gold and silver colouration before getting hit with Aggron's Dragon Rush, which was not very effective.
Shiranui chuckled at Trevor's call. "Hoshi, Hydro Pump!" The Starmie jumped into the air and started spinning, firing powerful blasts of water out of all ten limbs. "You picked the wrong move category for Lairon to defend against, Trevor," stated Shiranui.
"Hoshi, Skill Swap!" Hoshi used its psychic powers to swap its Natural Cure ability with whatever ability Lairon had.
"Hoshi, Confuse Ray!" The Starmie's core glowed a bright white light.
"Senritsu, return; Hoshi, I choose you!" Shiranui switched Senritsu for his Starmie just before Lairon conjured some rocks and sent them to Shiranui's side of the field.
Numeru had no energy to unleash and Lairon let out a loud Roar that scared the Goodra back into her ball. Shiranui's Altaria was dragged out.
The Stealth Rock popped out of the ground and did a little bit of damage to Lairon before re-burying itself. "Numeru, Bide!" Shiranui was familiar with how Metal Burst worked and after Numeru started a Bide attack, there was no power for Lairon to retaliate with.
