Greetings,
I am Jb; Briton by birth, roleplayer by my own hand, and lover of literature. I am also an amateur historian, a receiver of a Bachelors degree in Ancient and Medieval History - quite a useless degree, actually - and would like to think that I'm a fair, honest and open guy.
As far as RP'ing goes, I'm pretty open to most things really, all you need to do is ask! :)

@PeikI'm not sure where you're from, Peik, but you will make note of a number of things.
Number 1) It is 'rifleman green', not a colour worn by any Hussar regiment in the British army.
Number 2) The emblem on the shako (the powder horn) was, and remains, the emblem of the Rifle regiment(s).
Number 3) Richard Sharpe, whom Sean Bean is playing in that picture, is an officer in the 95th Rifles.
And number 4, the pelisse or jacket, was indeed made popular by Hussar horsemen, yet was taken on as dress uniform for other regiments...Rifle officers also carries curved sabres and used a whistle to give orders, if you'd like to know.
So, all-in-all, no, it is not a Hussar uniform. :)
