Hey all, JB here.
I'm a DM for a large number of games here on RPG, as well as a player in several others. Many of the games I run are overly complex, or they involve Dungeons and Dragons (which is also overly complex!).
I work 40+ hours a week, and am the proud father of two tiny terrors named Chibi and Chibette and married to my beautiful Wifey. As such, I am quite busy more often than not. I typically write 2-5 paragraphs per reply and try to maintain an excellent level of grammar. If you noticed me glancing at your profile, I probably was looking to see if you would be a good match for my RPing style. Even if I didn't send a PM to you, feel free to send one back!
I enjoy 1x1 RPs and small groups. I'm fond of medieval, steampunk, and futuristic settings, and I'll jump into romance, adventure, and slice of life RPs fairly quickly, although supernatural (vampires, werewolves, etc) RPs get old for me pretty quickly. If you're looking for an RP partner and I've glanced at your profile, then I'm most likely willing to give it a shot, but decided against PMing you because I'm actually kinda shy. But I'm always looking for a new friend!
Please feel free to say hi at any time!

At the bard's suggestion that they return home, Kiki shook her head sadly. "We have to make sure that Gundren is safe!" she said, tugging Ardiane's hand towards Seethe and further into the cave. With the exception of M, everyone seemed to follow Seethe away from the wolves' den and towards the outcropping as Brim began to slowly move rock out of the way. The work was slow and not quiet, and Seethe was able to look around while Brim worked. About 50 ft away and out of the range of his flame's light was a bridge passing overhead, roughly perpendicular to the stream they stood next to. The rest of the party are unable to see unless Seethe ventures closer.
After about a minute of moving rock, it appeared that Brim had cleared out the beginning of a haphazard passage, making just enough room for people to crawl through slowly. The destination on the other side of this area was dark and unknown, however. Any who wish may make Perception check to try to make out sounds. M will have to follow should he wish to do so.
The paladin was too dense to listen to them, nearly as dense as his armor. There was no reason for them to kill each other, but he wasn't about to stop now, most likely. Their only hope was... whatever the crap Cesar was doing, evidently. Katia wasn't exactly sure the end goal, but she knew that she needed to keep the Green Man from stopping them. Getting on all fours to charge forward, she used Theodore's presence as a distraction, slamming her quarterstaff into his helm, then scratching at his face and succeeding in tearing a small chunk of flesh away.
"We don't want to destroy you, really! At least listen to us instead of deciding we are only worth killing!" Katia cried in exasperation as she bounded away, placing herself squarely in the Paladin's easiest path to Cesar. Of course, she had seen him teleport forward before, but with any luck, he had run out of magical energy... or would be more preoccupied with the foes before him. In any case, she was in no position to physically hold someone who was likely twice her strength, and with regret glanced towards Theodore, she stood her ground, ready to strike.
Katia movement: Katia will use Feline Agility to move to the Green Man, attack with flanking from Theodore, then retreat to be three spaces east of the lantern north of Cesar. Should use ~75 ft of movement. Does not provoke AoO due to Mobile feat.
Katia’s first attack is with her quarterstaff, two-handed: 10 & 15, which misses.
Katia’s second attack is an unarmed strike: 7 & 25-Crit, which hits for 8 slashing damage.
HP:14/27. AC: 15. Ki: 2/4 (Recharge Short Rest). Feline Agility: Available. Golden Surge: Not Available. Rolls are on Discord.
I believe that this RP might possibly be full, but I'm not 100% certain on that. Here is a link to the Int Check. I also know that at least one other person in the group is in a similar spot in terms of D&D knowledge, so I don't think being new is a major issue. If it turns out that this is full and you can't get in, I might have some space in one of my games in my signature. :)
Nice work on the PC :D One thing I noticed though: Your character is a halfling, which is sized as Small. He's using a Heavy Crossbow, which is a Heavy weapon. In the PHB (or this page if you don't have one), there's a restriction on Heavy weapons:
Heavy Small creatures have disadvantage on Attack rolls with heavy weapons. A heavy weapon’s size and bulk make it too large for a Small creature to use effectively.
I'm not sure you'll want to always have disadvantage on your attacks. A light crossbow or shortbow might be a better fit for the PC, unless you somehow have a way to negate the disadvantage consistently.
Do you want us to add our CS's to the CHAR tab at some point? I know I still need to get some better descriptions for him on the sheet, but I'll do that shortly.
Stone sorc has a nice pally feel to its bonus spells without forcing you to play the paladin. And you get the versatility of metamagic and the spell power of a full caster. Might be a good option? Of course, I like almost all the Cha classes a ton.
