Elyse simply watched Ayame, holding her stuffed octopus close to her as she kept behind Jamie. When Ayama spoke, the little girl listened quietly, not moving in the slightest. When the older girl stopped talking, Elyse gave her a small smile.
"Aya... Aya, Aya, Aya." She said in a sing song voice before she was distracted by the milkshake that was given to her, which she happy began drinking, her eyes filled with joy.

"Aw, that's cute. Is that your daughter 'Rosey'?" A female voice said from a nearby table, one that would send chills down Rose's spine. Sitting on the table, rather calmly, was a face Jamie would recognize. Or rather, a mask Jamie would know. Death was sitting on a nearby table, rather calmly for someone who just made their prescense known in the middle of hostile territory. Even behind the mask, it wouldn't be hard to guess that the black-hair woman was smiling, for better or for worse." She's so cute, why we could just... cut her to pieces."

I don't know why, but as I read this, all I could think of was a yugioh match right now.

I just imagined Joshua having the heart of the cards, pulls out the one card he needs and summons. and then Zarkun is like "You activated my trap card" lol xD
