Amelia didn't reply but managed to stay conscious though the entire ordeal. It was bad pain, but hardly the worse she had been though. Getting her wings grafted into her while still conscious. That was much more painful then this. Once the wound was healed, she let out a sigh of relief, and sat up before giving Jarvis a big hug.

Jack just watched Jamie's approach with a blank expression.
"We are simply a weapon, a blade meant to be used by others. Without others giving us orders, we are nothing. We have no room for emotion." She said before Jamie finally negated her magic. The effect was immediate, with Jack falling off the table and onto her hands and knees as she coughed up blood. With a laugh, she rolled over to her back and just stared at the ceiling." Fitting... the one time we act on our own, we finally die. Why did we though... who are we?"

Looking aver at Rose and Elyse, who had quick run to her mother the moment Jamie set her down, the young assassin couldn't help but look a little jealous.
"We did everything we were taught to do. Everything we were raised to do. We know you rebelled. Yet you find happiness while we remained empty. Why? Why were we denied emotion while you managed to get it back?" She asked before turning towards Jamie." Why would you even offer a weapon happiness and a home? We would only bring you sorrow. We would only bring you trouble. We only know how to kill. How could we even belong here?"

I suppose that's fair, but I'd like to point out that Jack is a Wizard Saint and that shrugging off too many of his attacks, though there's only been one, would counter act what you've posted in the PMs. Actually, shrugging off too many attacks period if I understand it right.

Then let me say this. You attack pretty much destroyed her internal organs. She's only moving because she's using her magic to keep them together (If you read One Piece, this Doflamingo after he got cut by Law.). She'll have to beat a retreat soon, otherwise, she will die. Period.

Then again, if Caits does what I just suggested, that might still happen. It would be interesting though. I would actually prefer if she did, I've never had Jack get so close to death before..

Okay. I've been patient. I've been reasonable. But joshua, you can't have a character that keeps on missing attacks or not having them effect the character much.

No one can miss all attacks, or not have all of them not effect them. It just seems impossible.

you bring up a fair point, but even if the punch had hit and had actually done some damage, Jack would simply have laughed it off. You realize that James first attack actually harmed her a lot, since the shear amount of sin Jack has is huge. But to her, pain is pleasure.

besides, if you really wanted to end this fight, you'd just have Jamie step in and trap her in a cage while nullifying her magic. Again.
