@Joshua Tamashii Hey. I saw your post with Amelia, however, OneWayOut and I are doing a small collab right now. Should be posted up tomorrow and she can interact with them after that. Sorry for the confusion. ^-^;

I think next time it'd be smart to simply leave collabs for battles. :P

Unless it would be easier to simply redo our collab and start fresh with what on the IC right now. Lemme know what you think, co-GM.

I'll leave it up to you two. Right now, it would make sense for you two to start over, but if you want to keep what you have, I'll adjust my post to somehow fit in, though it will be difficult... actually, all I would have to do it remove a small chunk. Either way, up to you two.

@CondorTheMole It's always a good idea, since it makes it easier to spot when your character is talking and when they aren't.

Also, since there are a lot of people here, it might be a good idea for everyone to use mentions, so as to keep track of who is talking to who.

"Attention passengers, the plane will the landing shortly. Please remain seated and thank you for you patience."

Amelia groaned at the announcement, stretching as woke up from her nap and looked out the window. She was finally here in Kalos. Free from her parents oppressive ways but alone for the first time in her life. The thoughts both scared and excited her at the same time. Briefly getting lost in her thoughts, she quickly snapped back to reality when the other passengers began getting up in order to get off the plane. The trip from Sinnoh to Kalos had taken over half a day and the fourteen year old was happy to be able to stretch her legs. Grabbing her bag, she waited steadily made her way up and off the plane before setting off and exiting the airport, breathing in the fresh air.

After taking a few seconds to enjoy the sun and air, she shouldered her bag, containing nothing more then a few changes of cloths and whatever cash she had left over from her trip over here. Looking around at the busy streets, so different from her quiet hometown, she set off down the street. She had book a flight here because she heard that the Pokémon Laboratory for this region was located in the city. She wanted to be able to grab a partner and begin traveling as soon as possible. She didn't want to risk being found and sent back home, though she had cut her hair drastically and traded in her dresses for more casual cloths to help avoid such an event.

As she moved though town, Amelia eventually came across the building she was looking for with the help of several locals and the maps scattered around the city. Seeing a lot of people coming in and out of it, she moved over to a nearby wall, leaning against it and slowly lowering herself to the ground to rest so her heart didn't act up. After a few minutes, she got back up and moved into the lab, her expression a mixture of nervousness and excitement.

"... and make sure you feed it regularly, otherwise it'll get cranky and it might end up not liking you. And trust me, you do not want a grumpy Snubull in your house." Joshua said to the family infront of him that was taking home the grumpy looking pokemon. As the parent gave him their thanks and their little girl ran off with her new friend, he sighed and looked around. He had been here a few days and, in exchange for information he was looking for, ended up helping with the event. So far he had broken up several fights, given general advice, and helped some people either find pokemon that suited them or the pokeballs and other gear they would be needing if they were wanna-be trainers.

Glancing around, he spotted a minor disturbance that quickly dissolved and nothing else of immediate concern. Seeing it as a free moment, he whistled loudly and was quickly joined by this Absol, the Disaster Pokémon sticking close to it's owner as it looked around the room. Joshua gave his partner a quick pat on the head before moving over the Professor Sycamore and Val.
"Seems like the event is going well. Your sanctuary should be cleared out by the time everyone leaves." He said to the two, a small smile on his face. "So tell me, what do you two plan on doing after this? More research on Mega-Evolution or are you moving onto something else for a while?"

Joshua's Absol, in the meantime, spotted a late comer and nudged it's owner before silently directing him in the direction of the young girl.
"Hey, Val, looks like someone missed the memo. Maybe you should go take care of that."

@HylianRose Just so you know, Luke fon Fabre is a complete and total ass in the beginning of the game. Respects no one, bad mouths everyone, and thinks only of himself.

Also, I play smite as well. I mostly play Mages and my preferred game mode is joust. Kulkulkan and Scylla are my main two. But I'm waiting for next month when the Japanese pantheon comes out.

Everyone starts at Professor Sycamore's event. If you're getting a partner then, which most people are, that's your first pokemon unless your sheet says otherwise. However, it is unlikely we will get past that event in 1 real life day, so don't worry about it. @CondorTheMole

Other then that, now who should Amelia journey with. I was hoping she could travel with your character @hatakekuro but Jean seems taken.

Personality:
Amelia, due to her lack of interaction with other people, if a very shy, gentle young girl and sometimes can be a bit naïve to the ways of the world. She much prefers the company of pokemon, particularly Ghost-types, and tries to find a non-violent route to solve problems. However, underneath this exterior is a girl who has a strong will and is willing to do whatever she needs to in order to help her friends, even if it puts her own health at risk. Once she gets used to someone, she can prove to be rather cheerful and rather easy to amuse and get a laugh out of.

On a side note, Amelia has a large sweet tooth and cannot deny sweets when offered. She also has a fear of loud noises and shouting.

History:
Hailing from Lavender Town, Amelia has lead a relatively uneventful life due to her poor health. Her parents often kept an overly watchful eye on her and severely limited the activities she was allowed to do as a result of this, making it difficult for the girl to interact with other children and make friends.

Despite this, when her parents weren't looking, Amelia would often sneak into the Pokémon Tower and spend time with the Ghost-type pokemon that resided there. These pokemon where her only friends and she played with them as often as she could. It was only when she was playing with her ghostly friends that she felt happy.

When she was ten, she asked her parents permission to go on a journey, as was tradition. Her parent flat out denied this and instead began teaching Amelia how to run the souvenir store that they ran, though it was still rare for her to talk to customers. Unhappy with this, even though she was making money in the process, Amelia hatched a plan to run away. Approaching her pokemon friends for help, it took four years but she eventually had the money to buy a ticket to take a boat and then a plane to the Kalos region, leaving under the cover of night with the pokemon from the tower covering her escape.

Joshua has a bit of a conflicting personality. He is a lone wolf by nature, preferring to keep to himself and interact with others as little as possible. Despite this though, he does care for people and is always willing to help them out if they need it. He also is always willing to help new trainers when he can, though he won't directly help them unless he thinks they actually need it.

When he does interact with others, he's generally blunt and does not hold back in voicing his opinions unless he sees them as being severely detrimental to a trainer's progress. While he will not hesitate to call out their weaknesses but he will refrain from telling them that anything is impossible to overcome.

In battle, Joshua is a ruthless opponent, being analytical and taking advantage of his opponent's weaknesses. His frequent journeys away from his gym usually results in him meeting potential challengers before hand and see them in action and prepare ahead of time.

History:
A young man from Ecruteak Town, Joshua was born into an average family who made enough money to get by and occasionally enjoy a few luxuries. He was often the only child left out of activities in town due to him anti-social tendencies, which often resulted in misunderstandings that often turned into fights with the other kids.

Joshua's favorite place to be in the town was the Gym, where he would watch Morty battle with various trainers from Johto and beyond from the shadows. Morty himself was one of the few people Joshua would talk with in town and it was Morty who taught Joshua how to battle, allowing Joshua to use his Ghost-types since the young boy couldn't own any Pokémon of his own. It was these training matches and spectated battles that inspired Joshua to become a Gym Leader

Joshua left the town borders one day and came across an injured Absol while exploring. Rushing back to Morty, the gym leader helped Joshua get the Disaster Pokémon to a Pokémon Center so it could be treated. Morty offered to take care of the Absol for Joshua, until the boy turned ten and could own a Pokémon of his own.

When Joshua turned ten, he left to go on his journey, taking the Absol Morty had been taking care for him with him. Joshua and Absol would journey across the Johto Region, battling the various gym leaders and other trainers he came across. He quickly came to realize he had an affinity for Dark-type Pokémon and when he entered the Pokémon League, every Pokémon he use was a Dark-type. While he ultimately lost, he vowed to become the first Dark-type Gym Leader and left to journey across other regions to hone his skills.
