@AnnaBeth Outfit- the outfit is likely to be even before the apoc, because more often than not, he may be cutting down a tree, hunting, things where his forearms are much more likely to get hit than his biceps. Cutting off his sleeves in favor of wrapping them around his forearms would just be smarter, especially if he saw his brother throw his arm up to protect his face from a zomzom, and get it chewed off in the process. Gas mask- Some people are a bit more paranoid than others, or about different things. He may not enter a house without putting it on, and answer with a stiff "For facial protection" if someone asks. That, and gas masks look cool. Saving up for one so I can have a Great-Gatsby-style wear with a gasmask and a US Marine helmet, because whainot. Arrows- I made it so that he has seven in an overtheshoulder quiver, the rest bound and put in his pack. And I've been in archery too- probably should've realized that, but I was always more focused on hitting the target, or actually just holding onto the arrows as they were on the hip quiver. M1 Garand- My grandfather actually has one of these, from an ancestor that fought in Iowa Jima or somesuch. Dunno if he died, actually. Don't think he did. Came back and kept the gun- you had to buy them back then, apparently. Military comments- I respect the US Military. My character's family don't, though. My character may or may not either- "Shoot that thing, all dem chompers be on us in a min! Or, I can shoot my thing, and none them gonna come runnin' on accountin' of some loud happenin's, ya hear?" And to note, I have heard people talk like this, so don't say I'm just making fun of rednecks. Well, heard parts of it irl, it may also have a bit of influence from Firefly. because Firefly. M1911- Changed it to a Sig Saurer. The Redneck- I'm from the South- Texas. Good ol' Texas, the warehouse of the Confederacy during the Civil War, the only state in 'Murica that was its own goddamn country. Won our own war, too, against Mexico. Took down ol' Santa Anna. My school is also 80% hispanic, and I've got Peruvian ancestry. *woop woop* Any more problemos?

Maybe I should have just worked on adapting him to the TWD universe instead of waiting for you to look at the original character. I apologise for my lack of flexibility. :(

.45 would be good. It would probably be cute to mention that it has a lot of recoil. So, she might have a little bit of an issue handling it at times (being the biggest caliber of the ones I listed.) But you're good :)

@Darkraven - I will go ahead and say you're conditionally accepted. Your character is more on Shelton's side/realm of things. So, I will get with him and have him look the character over as well. But I don't see why you couldn't use him, if you could fit him to the TWD universe.

@TRF - I like the way your character looks. Everything is believable and I think he has a lot of potential. So, accepted. :) @Sweedishdelight - Both characters definitely look strong, and the brother/sister dynamic is usually pretty interesting as long as you can keep up with both their interactions. I would like to know what caliber the M1911 is (just because of my stupid little nitpicky issues I have with weapons). Accepted. @WilsonTurner - Here's what I'll do, because Shelton is busy right now, and I can be bossy. I will accept you on some conditions. Basically, I have a few problems and being the nice one of the GMs, I need you to understand that it's not personal. You say you don't know what you were doing, and I get that. So, I'm going to give CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. In this type of RP, the redneck thing is good. It's always good. As someone from the South (and someone who sells guns for a living, and is happier covered in mud than in a dress), I will say that you have to be careful with the whole "redneck" persona, as to not make it more of a parody of sorts. So, I'll start from the top, and be nice about things. I promise. Name and age are fine. The outfit is a little unrealistic, but if you're going for a 'round about' outfit, then I could accept that he sort of looks like he's been through some shit, if it's not too futuristic apocalypse blah blah. His weapons: As a competitive archer, I will say that 28 arrows is not reasonable. I can carry 12 in a relatively large quiver, and I couldn't even IMAGINE carrying that around with me in the woods, or trying to be quiet. Quivers are loud as fuck. His M1911 makes me wonder if it's a 9MM, a .45 ACP, a .44 MAG, or what you're going for there? There are multiple versions of the M1911. The knives and M1 Garand, I guess I could accept, because why not? The only issue I have with the gas mask is that there isn't really a need for it in this world. The only signal whatsoever that there would be chemical warfare is that the military is Napalming the fuck out of Atlanta at the beginning of the RP. The only other thing is be careful of what you say about the Military. @Captain Shelton - Meh. Accepted. I'm sure you've already accepted yourself. @Revans Exile - I'll sort of tell you (in a shortened version) the same thing I told Wilson Turner. Be careful of the outfits and stuff (which is nit picky) and be realistic about both your weapons. They are pretty bulky, and so just play them realistically and you should be good to go. Accepted. @Justice200 - I'm reluctant to accept you, because there were a lot of structural mistakes in your bio. I'm wondering if maybe your writing needs work, and it's something we can work with? Name: Asher Bradley Age: 20 Photo: Weapons: Remington 870 Supermag 12 ga shotgun, A .22 caliber revolver and a large Buck knife in a holster against his hip. Equipment: A backpack that is mostly empty, due to a quick escape. He has a couple of bottles of water, and some candy he stole from a local gas station. Brief bio: Asher was a farm hand before the apocalypse broke out. He lived close to Emma and Grace, and mostly watched from afar as they went about their day to day activities. After Grace went to jail, Emma became distant and cold toward everyone around her, causing Asher's attention to turn even more toward her. Not knowing where he's supposed to go or what he's meant to do in this new world, he just follows along, hoping that she has some clue of how the mess they are in will get better, in the end. Personality strengths: Loving, Intellegent, Strong willed and bodied. Personality Weaknesses: Cold toward people, hot tempered, and emotional.

Actually, I'm switching that to three characters, as long as you can keep up with them, and there is only two main characters. Basically, you're allowed to have one that's almost an NPC. The reason I say this, is because sometimes in the beginnings of these types of RPs, it takes a bit to get things really started, and your characters may be the only people you're connecting with. And for anyone asking if it's still open, yes. We will accept a few more characters.

Name: Grace Ryan (Secondary character) Age: 16 Photo: Weapons: None Equipment: None Brief bio: Grace is in jail, locked up and awaiting trial in Atlanta for an officer involved shooting, in which she was one of only two survivors. She's been in trouble most of her life, between drugs and now her most recent affiliation with violent crimes involving other teens. However, her relationship with her sister has never been something to be questioned. Now, she's trapped, and with no one to help her (due to her crime), it doesn't look good. Personality Strengths: Strong minded, witty, and articulate Personality (and other) Weaknesses: Does things without thinking, drawn to violence, addicted to prescription pills.
