A Bleach/ multiverse rp

Here's my first idea. I guess it would technically take place in the Bleach Universe, but it would ultimately transform into a full on multiverse rp. Something has happened in Soul Society. Nobody knows what it was, or where the aforementioned society is right now. All anyone knows is one second everything was at it should be and the next there was the great cracking, an event which sliced the barriers of dimensions, causing all the power of all the heavens and all the hells to flood into the existing physical universe. These energies have made reality a bit.... wonky, and have altered everything they touched, changing nothing into some things, some things into nothings, and all around mucking with the order the physical plain had gotten so used to. The only things which haven't increased in quantity are those of the shinigami from soul society as only the ones that were away from their homes at the time of the great cracking exist..

So our characters, a group of hopefully more than four but less than ten, will play the parts of shinigami who were away from soul society when the great cracking took place. It'll be our characters job to try and figure out exactly what happened to soul society and while doing that, make a living in the farthest recesses of space doing everything from bounty hunting and escorting to whatever odd jobs we'll be able to get our hands on.

Also, I'd be happy discussing rps based in any of these fandoms, especially if they would lead into a multiverse style adventure, but if not so long as the plot is interesting I'll give it a go.

History:
Abigail's life started out pretty straight forward. She went from elementary to eleventh grade without anything worth noting. Most of her time was spent writing and reading. Her ultimate dream was to become a famous novelist. Then, she got a computer and the summer break before the twelfth grade happened. She grew obsessed with creepypastas and other similarly styled videos, deciding that was something she wanted to do with her life. How hard could it be? She spent her time writing anyways.. So she got a microphone, video camera and created a youtube account under the name red-tales. When the time to start school came around she lost all interest in her education, and without talking to her parents, quit to pursue her youtube career. She managed to hide the fact from her parents for a few weeks but then everything came to light one day while shopping and coming into contact with an administrator from her school. Her parents gave her a choice, school or get out. She got out, and lived with a friend for sometime before finding a place and par time job to sustain her while she pursued her goals.

Personality:
Abigail is a voracious reader and writer. On average she's capable of going through two to three books a week and, with the assistance of writing prompts, usually manages to write a couple short stories every day. She's very competitive and enjoys playing games that test her skills against others, especially bored games like chess, checkers and go. Her biggest personal weakness though is the tendency she has of over-estimating her own abilities which have gotten her into past problems. She's also not the most social individual and it takes her time to warm up to people. However, once she opens up its hard to get her to shut up.

@Hammerman: Nope, too much to kick things off and spreading too wide to start. Go narrower with the direction of magic; I did say 2 basic and 1 intermediate spells if going into magic, and tbh I don't want someone who scales well with magic as a whole to have access to more or less all the classic options right off the bat (it'd go crazy pretty fast).

@jynmi88: I'm pretty sure that still requires parental supervision before college. In most (if not all) first world countries. Can't do it on your own. You can play hooky, but not necessarily drop out.

And... Fine, I'll cede there. But my prior point remains.

Uhm.. Where did you find that? I googled it and although some states in the us allow people to drop out at sixteen with written parental permission, a few allow for someone seventeen to do it on their own, and a great deal more have no problem with someone dropping out at eighteen on their own.

So would either of these fix things to your liking?
1.) I make Abigail's age 18
2.) I have Abigail forge a letter from her parents.

@jynmi88: I think that schools often send out notifications if a student has an unexcused absence from a class. It tends to escalate if done over an extended period of time. I would assume the parents would find out one way or another over the course of one week, much less two.

Does it have to be that sort of YT channel, though? There are a lot of ways to spin similar tales without going to something that... Honestly doesn't seem like it have much of a following in the first place. Heck, there are a lot of channels that specialize in things like food, pop culture, politics, games, and so on and so forth. Wouldn't those make more sense for someone chasing a pie in the sky ideal?

It'd make sense in turn if it was done to deal with that minor social anxiety, but this is just me rambling. Honestly, that's the only point of contention I have left in regards to the character.

Oh! Okay I think I see what's happening. The thing is she wasn't ditching school, she quit and it was her parents she was hiding the fact from.

As for the YT thing, there are some youtube channels that specialize those kinds of videos that are very popular. The Creepymcpasta channel alone has over one million subscribers. AS for why she chose that format for her videos there's two reasons. First, the videos themselves are easy to do; just pick the background and narrate the story. Second, that opens up a lot more time and energy she can invest into actually writing the stories. As for not showing her face, its because she wanted to be well off on the channel before her parents found out.
