That feel when you apply for jobs and realize you changed your phone number from what's on your resume

My current mood: What do you mean I speak French fluently? Verb tenses? I don't need to say the right actual words do I?

I just gave blood and now subjected myself to walking up two flights of stairs. That was fun

I just got home from an unexpected 7 and a half hour shift so let me try and get some feeling back in my feet and then I will get a reply up
Does vampire blood heal?
Adalaide grabbed her head set and linked it directly to Raymond and went out of the flight deck.
"Raymond, you understand that if you get bit, you die. You're dead, there's no saving you and it wouldn't be because of the bites. You're in space, there's no oxygen and those suits are pretty damn thin. You'll be dead within 30 seconds due to hypoxia and I can't...this is different than the suicide missions we're assigned. We can fight them from here, we can figure out how they're following us." Adalaide knew a lost cause when she saw one and she huffed out a frustrated breath.
"When you get back on this ship, I'm going to kill you." She informed him before she went back into the flight deck and into the gunners cockpit.

"Cap, Rae, and Terry are going out there for reasons beyond me. I'm going to get as close as possible to them and you are going to cover them to the best of your ability." Adalaide informed them as she went back to her seat, just as Tahilie and Shasoon started broadcasting into her brain. Adalaide best trait, was her photographic memory. It's what made her such a good navigator and right now it was extremely beneficial. As soon as he was done she pulled up a note page and started writing.

"Tahilie, you're right. It will hide our location and the magnectic disturbsion should be more than enough to hide our location. If you could change that back, I'd be grateful." Adalaide said, glancing at him before stopping what she was doing and fully looking at him.
"Are you okay? Our nurse is still on board if you'd like to go to med bay." Adalaide said, quirking an eyebrow up on her face as Reena finally showed up.

"I don't understand why you insist on living on the opposite side of the ship." Adalaide informed her as she walked into the flight deck, before she asked her questions.
"A few of our members decided to go on a space walk, I really hope you don't decided to join them. That reminds me, Tango please bring up the best angle we have of Cap and them and display it please." Adalaide said, as she glanced at the countdown. Six and a half minutes left, and Adalaide felt something cold drop in her gut.
@boomlover Well I'm at home and it's 3:30 in the morning so not okay
I swear to God the wind is trying to level my house.
"I don't understand why I shouldn't come back? You're in danger there Adalaide. I can protect you if I'm actually there." Adalaide's closest sibling, her brother Francis, had called her exactly forty five minutes ago, and yet they were still on the phone and still basically on the same subject as what he opened with.

"Francis I will say this one more time and this time I expect you to listen to me. By myself, I am safer than if any member of our family were here. If you were here, instead of focusing on protecting myself, I would be focusing on protecting you and vise versa on you protecting yourself. I need to be here, you do not and by being here you would just put an unnecessary target on your back. Enjoy Milan brother, it's truly a beautiful city and I worry you're not benefiting as much as you could be. I'll keep you updated with this situation, I promise. Give all my love to mother and Aunt Annalise." Adalaide gave her final word and Francis sighed before giving in to her argument.

"Fine sister, if you think you know best then I will trust you, but at the first sign you're in trouble I'm coming back to New York and dragging you out of there kicking and screaming if I have to. Do you understand me Adalaide?" Francis and Adalaide managed to get off the phone with the call coming in just under an hour.

"We've arrived ma'am." Adalaide smiled appreciatively at her driver, Thomas. He had been her driver for 25 years now, and she paid him generously for his secrecy. She also paid him for doing things like knowing when she was about to end a call and arriving at their destination just as she finishes.
"Thank you Thomas. I don't know how long I'll be so just go home. I'll see you tomorrow." Adalaide smiled at him as she exited her car and made her way to the door of the bar. She flashed her fangs at the guard before entering. She didn't immediately join Anya and what looked like Norman Perry, mostly because she didn't particularly enjoy either of their company. She came because she knew her particular skills would be needed eventually and she wasn't one to avoid the inevitable for an extended period of time.

After she lingered for a smidge under rude, Adalaide joined Anya and Perry at the bar.
"Cognac, neat please." Adalaide asked the bartender as she sat on a barstool. She made eye contact with both Anya and Perry.
"Why am I here? I'm not a fighter, I'm a mediator and if he's here, I have a feeling you're not in a mood to talk with anyone." Adalaide raised an eyebrow at Anya, since she was the one to call the meeting.
@Marx Well...pizza does exist so that puts a dent in your theory in my opinion. And pancakes and cake and donuts and muffins.
I am assuming that was the right responce to your earlier statement, and good job. Spot on
It's only like five for me right now but it's pretty dark. Then again I live exactly half way to the North Pole so there's that.

@Akayaofthemoon I'm glad you're having a good day. Mine is good, about to go to my second job so I'm psyching myself up for that. I hate work but I like my house so here I am lol

@Marx Funny, I'm eating a quesadilla as we speak.

@Jones Sparrow School, I'm glad I'm not in it. I'm going back though once my wife actually starts making some decent money and we can afford our mortgage. Although I want to be a teacher so that doesn't bode well for my financial future lol also stop flaunting your sunlight

@boomlover Je déteste la froid. I'm from the South and I regret my decision to live in the North every day I have to put a jacket on.

@Avanhelsing Yup, basically

@Pyromania99 Je ne comprende pas mais d'accord et bon chance?
How is everyone tonight?
