Roxy stepped into the nearest shadow. Nothing happened. She frowned and tried again. This time instead of just standing in the shadow she was able to actually step into the shadow and become part of her. The world around her faded. Colors disappeared and everything became black and white. Sound became muted. It was a strange experience. She always thought thst this might be what things would be like if one could step into one of those old black and white movies.
