In an attempt to bring peace to the world for the new year heroes talked villians into getting together to negotiate a treaty. It took several days to work out the terms of the truce. The heroes worried that the villians wouldn't stick to it. Villians weren't known for keeping their word. So their had to be something that made them hesitate and reconsider their actions. So it was suggested that each hero and villian give one child to be married to the other side. This way the scales would be balanced. No archnemesis would be bound. And no one would know who was marrying who until their wedding day.

"It doesn't matter if we want to help them or not Olivia. We don't have alot of choicd in the matter. The demons are stronger then we are. They can force us to obey them to a certain degree. We have to feed them. We have find a way to live with them. I hope that that will be easier to do together." Griffin explained. He wanted them gere. @SoulEater whenever the group is ready. But you seem to be doing just fine without my interference.
Once the assembly was completed they dismissed to go to class. Griffin waited while other filed out of the room. He wasn't in any hurry to get to Mimic's class. He was too on edge to be comfortable with being around someone who could copy powers. He figured he would wait until the gym was empty to leave. He didn't want to deal with the crowd as everyone tried to get out of the gym at once. Besides he wanted to think some more on these new jobs that would be open to them now.
