Do you prefer to be asked questions about YC and the plot, since it affects both characters, or prefer that nothing is ironed out and both parties do sheets?

Zack almost chucked when the one guy took to the air to try to find his 'brother'. While they didn't do it intentionally they tended to confuse people. Most people weren't used to dealing with someone with more then one personality. He had to grab Griffin again when the girl, Light (which was a very odd name), challenged him. Either the girl was very confident or she was crazy. While she was bigger than most girls they had seen he doubted that she was much of a fighter.

"Yes my brother is here. He does not take kindly to threats. You shouldn't challenge him. Griffin is a very good fighter. I would rather that he not get into a fight on our first day of public school." He realized that everyone had given their names except him. Of course no one had asked his name. Socializing was going to be a lot harder than he thought. "We are not familiar with interacting with others our age. Why would we choose a leader so early? I wouldn't make a good leader. Griffin would if he was capable of it but he isn't so it would have to be someone else."
Roxy shrugged. Although she hadn't eaten in hours she wouldn't say anything. If Jess wanted to unpack that was fine with her. She would wait. "Take your time. You are welcome to anything in the main room accept my knives." She stepped away to pick up several of the throwing knives. She twirled on between her fingers like it was a baton rather than a knife. She leaned against the door while she waited for Jess.

While she had been on her own for years she had only had a place to call home the last couple of years. She had tried learning to cook but she simply didn't have the patience for it. If Jess could and would cook that was fine by her. Otherwise she would order food the way she had for the last couple of years she had been able to do so. It really made no difference to her what they eat.
Show sympathy for the teachers...

Zack watched helplessly as his brother approached the fireball. This wasn't going to go well. Griffin had been taking in every martial arts class he could enroll. He was a very good fighter. Zack could feel Griffin bunching their muscles as he prepares to attack. Fortunately, or unfortunately Zack wasn't sure which, someone distracted Griffin from his goal. The odd looking girl grabbed them hugged them. His brother stiffened and bared their teeth in a silent snarl. Zack grabbed his brother. He knew if he didn't Griffin would hurt the girl without thinking and then he would be angry with himself for hurting a female.

As Zack pulled his brother from the control of their mind their body would freeze. It usually only took a few seconds for them to switch places. Most people wouldn't notice the brief emptiness. If those they were interacting were watching closely they might notice but it was rare. 'Let me handle this.' Zack pleaded. The last thing they needed was for Griffin to make an enemy in the first day of school. Griffin glared at him but moved back. Zack knr w he had to act fast or his brother would lose it. Once he took over their body, again the changes were slight so most people didn't notice. It straightened to their full six foot six, the muscles lessened, their eyes brightened and became friendly. "You really shouldn't grab my brother like that. He is likely to attack first and think later."

Griffin bared their teeth in silent snarl at the fire ball that flew by them. His brother took the near encounter as an attack. The last thing wanted was for to start their first year in a public school. But he knew his brother. There would be no convincing his brother that the close encounter had most likely been an accident. Zack was surprised when the fireball landed without causing the damage that he expected at the speed it had been traveling. He was even more surprised when the flames died down and revealed a boy under them.

Griffin stormed over to the boy who had nearly crashed to them. School had barely started and someone had already jeopardize Zack's safety. He was going to make it clear that that wasn't something he was going to allow. As he approached the fire boy he noticed two others. He ignored the boy who was cursing and talking about himself. The other free his attention though. He was almost sure it was female. But he had never seen a girl, or being, like her. He arched an eyebrow as he studied her. After a moment he turned his attention to the boy he come for. He grabbed the other by his arm.

Katherin took her time approaching the school. It was going to be more crowded than she was used to. She was used the Xavier's school. But that one had been combined with this one for the sake of unity. So she was going to have to adapt. That was going to be a challenge but she was determined to do it. She had to be careful until she was able to memorize the lay out of the school. Which from what her dad had told her about the size of the place wasn't going to be easy.

The closer Katherin for from the gate the more crowded it got. The could hear snippets of conversation. She was looking forward to meeting new people and learning about their abilities. She had heard so many stories over the years. She wondered who would take the classes she had chosen. Katherin hoped to make a friend the first day. Doing so would reassure her dad that they had made the right choice. But the question was how did she decide who to approach first? From the sounds of it many of the others were already interacting. She didn't want to intrude.
