Staying ahead of someone who is ahead - Tacticians needed

The only way to stay ahead of someone who is always ahead is to make bad decisions. Make a list of all of the stupid things you could do, then think about why it's a stupid idea and how the enemy would exploit your blunder. Then take what they'll do to exploit it and set your forces up to directly counter that action (Out of sight, obviously). When the enemy takes the bait, you pounce on them and rip them to shreds. It's a costly strategy, and a risky one as well. If you don't know your enemy well enough, then they'll do something you didn't expect and you'll lose right there. On a side note, is this RP still accepting or does it restart after you lose or something? It sounds really interesting.

As far as ideas go, it'd be cool to see anti-air airships. Basically small ships meant to fly under enemy airships and shoot the hell out of them. If an airship is harassing someone's position from really high up, a few of these anti-air ships could be deployed to fly up and shoot up at it (from underneath them). If the enemy ship gives chase, they could just fly back down, shooting up at it the whole way, and split up to make themselves harder targets.

My destroyers are pretty capable of that. Despite what the art would tell you (It's not like I commissioned it), those smaller turrets have a 360 degree rotational range and can point directly up if needed. The larger ones are (Again, despite the art) capable of pointing about 70 degrees upwards and have the same rotational range as the other turrets. Obviously, the rotational range is subject to the fact that the hull exists, so 360 degrees is only the theoretical range, not the functional range.

*Cries* Welp, best of luck with it all. If you ask me, we should turn the Fay into an NPC nation but let anyone have characters in it. As for Countess Lasis, if anyone feels up to taking over Penelope (I'm not good at switching my writing from "Crying, dryness, and overdramatized everything" to "Fairy named Penelope"). And yes, that's an entire mood now. I don't care that it's actually pretty common, because "Fairy named Penelope" just sums it up fucking perfectly. If nobody does, I will inevitably try to find some other alien to put on her ship. Perhaps someone from a certain dystopia. Maybe one of those bipedal dudes with the hairy heads. You know, the ones that look like her, but with dyed hair.
