@Vilageidiotx These are traits of fascism. I don't neccesarily dislike these traits but yes they are traits. However you should mind that, if the roles were reversed, and the Axis had won, we'd likely be saying the same about the Americans, who had interment camps and killed off German PoW's too..

Yeah, the internment camps were pretty bad. But hey, at least we didn't attempt systematic genocide out of a belief that we are inherently the superior race.

This right here. My uncle ended up almost missing a family reunion because he happened to SHARE THE NAME of someone on the no fly list. The real kicker is that the guy who's actually on the list is of a completely different race. He had to drive up north for the reunion instead of flying, and missed the full first day.
The guy who was on the list was also on there for nothing more than a single instance of theft. I mean, yeah, sure, he stole something and that's illegal. But the no fly list? What, is he going to threaten to crash a plane into the fucking White House unless they give him a thousand dollars' worth of silver jewelry?

And hell, I don't have a dog in in this fight. So long as it doesn't cause a recession I am only interested because the idea of an independent Scotland or a United Ireland is really fucking cool regardless of how likely they are. I'm actually just in this for the possibility of the Third Great Depression. Mainly since we all know what followed the first one. Hopefully we'll get a nuclear holocaust. Then the aliens will come and bring us the light of communism.
