Sky Pirates and their Misadventures

"Jon-sama!" Char shouted as Jonathan got into the kitchen, "Please, have this seat, I've already eaten my breakfast earlier." She said when she noticed that Jonathan had stepped away from the table to allow the girls to have their share before.

After she made sure that Jonathan was comfortable, Char began serving the breakfast to the other members of the crew. First it to Melody, as she was the captain, "Here it's captain, fresh out of the pan. I hope you like it."

Then to Milly, "Here, Minnie-san, be sure to eat as much as you'd like." Char didn't lost the chance to smile at Milly in a way that practically said, "If you don't eat properly you won't never grow." The older girl gave Char the evil eye, but soon began to eat. Char responded by puffing her chest and giving a slightly smug smile that to indicate that despite her age she already was starting to develop a feminine silhouette.

"What? Oh, I see, that harpy is on the place that befits her isn't she? Pico, go deliver her food, please." Char had very haugthy expression as she talked about Song, however she would stoop so low as to wear her foes through famine, so she sent Pico out of the kitchen's window carrying a packed lunch for Song. On it was a very sarcastic message, [Have fun watching the clouds!]

"kuru!' Pico chirped as he flew towards the crow's nest on his errand.

And finally it was Jonathan's turn, after Char placed his breakfast in front of him, she picked up a fork and said, "Here, Jon-sama, let me feed you." She said flirtatiously without a hint of modesty. The reason was simple, never in a hundred years would Char think that she would find one of the main reasons why she ran away from home, meaning her future husband, not even a week after she'd started her travels with Melody, but to actually know that he was the ship's second-in-command was too much for the passionate girl's heart.

Personality: Akane generally is calm and collected, though if someone pisses her off she's prone to bursts of rage and can be very unpleasant to stay around during those times. She also loves expensive things, specially precious gems, and will burn her money to buy anything that strikes her fancy without any consideration for the future or how much she's spending.

Skills and Powers:

- Shadow Manipulation: Akane can control the shadows around her in a wide radius, being able to command them to take shape and attack foes, meld with them and either disappear or teleport as well as any other varied of tricks that she can think about.

- Magic: In her human form Akane is also able to perform relatively advanced witchcraft that she has been studying over the past century, ever since she came in contact with human mages for the first time. Her specialty is witchcraft powered by magical jewels.

- Martial Arts: Akane has been training martial arts as a hobby for as much time as she has been training witchcraft, so she's an expert above 10th dan degree in her favorite style, Kenpo Karate mixed with a dash of Kung-fu that she learned from a chinese monk about a hundred years ago.

Bio: Akane is very secretive of her past, not telling about it to pretty much anyone other than the most close of her acquaintances, all that's know about her is that she's a Youkai who has been mingling with humans ever since the beginning the Meiji Restoration, constantly traveling between Japan, China and Korea in pursuit of fun and interesting experiences after living for isolated for eons on the Crimson Sky's darkest places. She's an important bridge between the Hunters' Association and the civilized Youkai and thus is treated with deference by almost anyone who knows of her true identity.

She's also know as a legendary odd ball, and recently her interests shifted heavily towards pop culture which is simply cringe inducing when one realizes who the girl wearing visual kei clothing and and listening to loud music on an c-Pod truly is.

Equipment: Akane doesn't carry any kind of special weapon or anything like this, relying on her magic powered by the Youkai Soul Stones that she collects and her natural powers/martial arts skills to survive. Up to today it has never failed her.

Other: Akane loves music, specially pop and rock songs and is specially fond of the Visual Kei sub-culture, she is a drop dead fan of Janne Da Arc and L'Arc-en-Ciel, insult them near her at your own peril.

@Ruby Etra Goddamnit, Ruby! I loved Lucille's new summon. She seriously carries it around in an i-Pod like device? That's too damn funny, How about you move her to the CS tab already and do your first IC post. You were on the previous RP so you don't need to be reaccepted, anyway.

@SlamJamcity No problem, I'll probably be not able to reply until tomorrow, anyway. LOL! I finished reading your post, that wasn't what I was expecting in the least bit, but it was funny indeed, even though Eden was a little more brute than he needed to be. I'm plotting something that will make he regret doing that, though.

Are there any limits for power or bio?
Because there is little information in OP are we allowed to create supernatural monsters and organizations for our backstory?
Are we all located in the same city? If so, what's its name?
Do Chasers keep in touch with each other in some manner? Is there some organization that handles Chaser affairs on the world level? (like Magic Association in Nasuverse, for example)
Is Crimson Sky filled just with roaming monsters, or is there some social order there?

Your answers, in order:

- None, for both. You could do the president of the United States as a Chaser of you wanted and I wouldn't care, or do a character like Shiki and still it would be game as long as you don't abuse things. I'm putting a great deal of trust in the players to behave like adults, you see?

- That was my point the whole time, give a blanc slate in which they could exert their creativity. There's no way one single person can come up with all that I would need to weave this story.

- Yeah, we are, and it's on Japan, being part of Tokyo's metropolitan area, however I felt that must calling it "This City" would be more fun. You now, to feel less grounded in the real world. But there's nothing dating that you couldn't have come from another place in the world, as the Crimson Sky is basically a parallel Earth, so it covers the whole world.

- Some do, some don't, they are basically humans anyway, so disagreements between them are far from rare. Though for the purpose of this RP I'll have your characters be contacted and work together, by an NPC in the first IC post. You'll be free to deny, of course, but since the story will involve a big supernatural occurrence (think of Kyoukai no Kanata) the safety of a loner won't be granted. Yes, there is a Chaser organization, I guess that I should have put the Chasers section of the OP after all, the organization is know as the Hunters' Association, BTW. Also, I should add that the Association pays monetary rewards to the Chasers for their kills, add long as they bring the Soul Stones left behind when an Youkai dies.

- As I said, there are civilized Youkai, some even work with the Chasers to help deal with the ones they call Strays, the troublesome Youkai that the Chasers generally hunt.

- Oh, I nearly forgot, but I'd like to say that you can play as human like Youkai or half-Youkai, too.

I would make all of this c least on the OOC, by placing a Glossary post, but guess it's better to left you guys know it now. This easy you can plan your characters better.

@AiyvaGuardI liked your idea, perhaps a little too much, even. Alie is just too adorable to not accept, however you should bear in mind that time manipulation is a much more complicated power than you might imagine. I got a whole bag of nasty tricks to deal with it in fact. This I'm not disinclined to allow you to have this power as long as you don't start abusing it. Else we will have things like shattered glass and steel shrapnel popping up more frequently than necessary.

.@Valhalla What more information you might want? I guess that I covered anything necessary for people to do their characters on the OP, but if there's anything more that you need you can ask and I'll be glad to answer.

@The Fox WithoutSadly, even though I wanted to, I don't know a thing about the Persona franchise. Actually, this is inspired in a wellspring of different sources, the biggest ones being Big Trouble in Little China, Ninja Slayer From Animation and Kara no Kyoukai.
