And what was not to be happy with on her opinion? The sun was warm, the breeze was cool and the ground was firm. Business sure was going to be good, that she knew. Now, the only thing that she needed was...
"A customer, no, two! That must be my lucky day." The girl almost squealed when she noticed the two persons by the roadside. One, looked like a travelling lady knight and the others was a bit... odd, since she was a small girl holding a toy bunny and skipping over some rocks. Nevertheless, if Mikoto would let details such as these bother her she couldn't call herself a trader.
Thus, she approached them and once she was close enough to be heard, she called "Good morning, ladies! That must be your luckiest day out here, for I, Kanzaki Mikoto -peddler extraordinary- have arrived with all that you may need. From potions and magic talismans, to food and even underwear, I have it all, so please, don't be shy." Mikoto said, with an ear to ear grin stamped on her face, as she dropped the heavy box on the grass covered and unlocked it to show that her boast wasn't in vain.
Far away from there, another meeting was about to take place...
After about a week of solitary trekking through the mountains, Aria had finally reached civilization again. The mountain range which she was walking through right now, rises from the edges of Rivenwood and is the source of most of the water that gives the ancient forest it's life. Thus it was no surprise that the villages that exist on it would prosper from it.
Orello in particular was known as a brewer village for ages, and it's malt liquor and beer are known through all of the Imperium. It's said that even some of the Imperial Army commanders appreciate it, so tends to have an unusually high concentration of soldiers, despite being an isolate countryside comunity. Not that the troops who get stationed here have much to complain, of course, specially since this is a place used to drop the greenhorns for a few months of rough physical training, before sending them to more dangerous battlefronts.
Anyway, the white knight walked into the settlement unfazed, since she longed for a hot meal and someplace to rest, after spending so much time alone in the wilderness. Soon enough, she found a tavern named "The Dancing Sheep", a simple two story building that doubled as an inn as is usually the case with these small villages. As soon as she pushed the heavy wooden door open, Aria was showered with the marvelous smell of roasted lamb and beer sauce, as well as a hearthy music, played by a few bards.
"I guess this is as good a resting place as I could ever hope for" Aria though as she found a table to sit and called a tavern girl.
