The Legend of Zelda hero didn't have the Master's Sword, he had the Wooden Sword, the White Sword, and the Magical Sword.

Now that I say that it occurs to me that you weren't talking about the first Zelda game but the first cannon hero: Skyward Sword. This is just my opinion but I think that the Master's Sword has been handled by so many heroes through the ages that it would be impossible for it to be imprinted as specific to any one Link.

I also think if we use the Hero's special magical item from each game we are going to end up with a hero that can: Control the winds, travel through time, control the seasons, change night into day, teleport, shrink, cross dimensions, and split himself into four. I think it would be a better idea to use items that were important to each of the heroes but didn't necessarily hold immense amounts of power. Like the Sailcloth for Skyward Sword Link or the Pirate's Charm for Wind Waker Link.
I feel I should mention this and sorry for not being more specific earlier but Navi's glow isn't all that pronounced. Her skin does give off a very slight blue hue (it becomes more noticeable when she's doing magic or is angry) but it is not very recognizable as a light source especially in daylight. That and human form fairies are rare, not unheard of but the most common kind of fairy are the little glowing balls.

Bearing that in mind most people wouldn't look at Navi and immediately think "fairy". She looks for the most part like a normal fourteen year old girl. Her glow gives her a slight ethereal hue but nothing that would be recognized as supernatural. I thought I should mention this early on so that it doesn't become an issue were I'm having to ask people to change there posts. Zelda and Shadow Link can sense magic so it's natural that they recognized what she was and Navi tried to use Fairy magic on Link so a bit of a dead give away. The Happy Mask Salesman is just creepy and weirdly omnipotent so that's fine.

I'm not saying anyone's actually gone against this I just wanted to get it out there before I've got random NPCs going "Hey look a fairy" when Navi walks by.

I was thinking of picking up a second character. I sort of want both the sword spirits but since we're limited to two do you think I should go for Fi or Ghirahim?
Greetings to you all! This roleplay is going to be based around the characters rather than a pre-created plot or set of events. A new story of Hyrule and the wonderful characters we all know and love, all character from any Zelda game are welcome, whether they be Villain, Hero, or somewhere in between. The story will unfold as we determine it, perhaps evil wins the day or Link must turn to other's to help him save the world! We want to create a story where the characters and our journey are what matters, much like in a Zelda game.

Characters:
Note 1: Please use characters that people know. Try to avoid using characters like the old man in the cave or the thief that gives you the fancy boots. These are characters we don't know much about and therefore would be hard to work with. Character like Shadow Link would be fine even if not much is known about him because we see him more and understand him better as a more famous character.

Note 2: One version for each character. Try not to have two kinds of the same character. Meaning: only one Link or Zelda. It gets confusing when there is Twilight Princess Zelda and Ocarina of Time Zelda. However, Link and Dark Link are different enough to be considered different characters.

Just one last thing, some ground rules.

Rules:
1. No character is better than another. This is to keep things fair. Traditionally, Link is "better" than Ganondorf, but in this case, each person is being played by a real person. So, no killing, injuring or subjecting another character to a life-changing situation without their consent.
2. Keep it PG-13. There's nothing wrong with romance, but try to keep the spicy stuff limited to PMs.
3. Post frequently. It becomes really difficult to keep things going when a major character is missing for days and everyone is waiting for their response. After a week of inactivity without warning, we will write your character out. That might include but is not limited to death.
4. Give some warning. I'm going to make it the three day rule. If you know you're going to be unavailable or difficult to reach for 3 or more days, post about it in the OOC. That way we can play around if we need to.
5. Be creative. You don't need permission to shake things up a bit. I hate roleplays with that "what I say goes" rule. So be original. The only time I'd ask for you to pass it by me is if you strongly feel it might break one of the rules.
6. keep it interesting. Just because I said keep it PG-13 does not mean make it dull. Profanity is fine. I'll probably use some myself. Also, if you want to add gore, go ahead. Kill people or whatever.
7. Have fun! This is just as much your roleplay as it is mine, so enjoy it! If it gets boring or you don't like something, tell the rest of us.

@Abillioncats I suggest just shooting the robot at this point. Doesn't seem like Prince plans on posting.

Eight's unconscious, if you like I can come up with some sort of consequence of her shooting the T-40s innards but at this point I don't think it matters all that much. She's about to shoot the main circuits of the robots power distribution system. With them offline the robot wouldn't be unable to direct it's own operations. Which include weapons, self destruct, targeting and the AI itself. With those circuits gone the T-40 wouldn't be able to reboot.

Though she is relatively close and there are a number of other volatile systems in the vicinity of where she is shooting. So if you want the result could be a localized overload that would only affect Johanna but that's really up to you as Eight can't do a whole lot in his present state.

Not to be demanding but would it possible for you to do Sapphire in that style?
I think @Lugubrious was planning something but whatever it is I'd like it happen soon. Sapphire's not the kind of person to engage in conversation with someone unless someone speaks to her first. Then the lighter personalities in the room are a bit intimidated by her and the others regard her as unpleasant so people don't generally want to talk to her.

Can we move forward soon?
I have nothing to do in history class... This RP is getting too much like real life.
You guys don't want to ride Indominus Rex?
I'm here but I'm still getting through the IC.
This^. Remember everyone, we're at 10 participants right now. If we get four more entrants (looking at you Harine) we can proceed to the final stage of rewards.

I'm working on something.
