@Krinos Solstice Did your character actually just give a "I've been shot and about to die speech". Cause with that much blood coming out of her I don't buy it. I mean cops firing from cover at a low angle at a crazy woman running at them. The odds of them not hitting one of her lungs are astronautical. Even if she doesn't have a punctured lung, you get shot in the chest and actually do have the inclination to say something you've likely got the number of words you can get out in one breath. If you're lucky two breaths, which is likely six to eight words, not an entire soliloquy.

Objectively speaking the movie was a bit predictable and generally didn't stand out but there wasn't inherently anything wrong with it. It just didn't follow the Eragon storyline beyond base concepts and quashed most of the plot point important to the following book ensuring there wouldn't be a sequel. It wasn't really Eragon but as a movie it was alright.
I watched the movie eragon, but they didn't really cover that and I was informed by the book loving husband that compared to the book the movie sucked
The movie was alright, it just could have been about a hundred thousand times better if the screen writer had read the book before her wrote the screen play. The true names thing was a plot point in books three and four and slightly foreshadowed in book 2.
Not that anyone will know this but Raven's true name is Amaltheia Ravenstone.

In Eragon a true name was much less a title and much more an idea. When you understood something completely, be it an object or a person there True Name would form in your mind and grant you control over that thing. This means that a person doesn't actually know his true name at birth and in order to learn it must accept every part of him even those hidden parts that no one wants to acknowledge about themselves.
As LadyRunic said we're not doing that.
And the name you put down MUST BE YOUR ACTUAL FULL NAME. True names are not like in Eragon.
Raven's known her true name since birth she just hasn't answered to it since her parents died or used it in the last 600 years give or take. But if you want me to put it down on the CS I will.
Hey just out of curiosity is the name everyone put down on their CS for there character their true name? Cause mine's definitely not.
Out of curiosity in this version of events what is the Wylde Hunt for? It's already diverging from the one I'm familiar with so a heads up would be helpful.
@LadyRunic Hey just out of curiosity for those playing humans. In most Fey lore humans stop aging when they enter the fairy land which from the looks of it is true here. However a lot of lore says that those years they spent in the fairy realm catch up with them the moment they leave. Does that apply too?
As a bonus now we've got Magneto fighting Wolverine.
