Now let's talk about this. What's wrong with Hollywood now a days? They seem bent on taking old classics and remaking them into dime a dozen action flicks that people only go to see cause they have the same title as something they watched as a kid.
can someone let me know when the conversation comes back down to a couple sentences a post? I got dizzy trying to follow this.

I think we're back to a sentence a post. We got through the discussion of Gren's abilities so we should go back to normal.
Even if that is true, we've already established machinery that reacts to Aura based off of how Ebon controls his R-Types, unless you're going to ask him to change that again so I can't just use a full-body version of what his R-Types work off of.

He's physically moving the R-Types with telekinesis, they don't have engines, he's holding them up with his mind. Please don't bring them up again, I've still got problems with him having that kind of arsenal and I don't want to go into it again. Sufficient to say his R-Types aren't powered by his aura, he is physically controlling them.
<Snipped quote by Prince of Seraphs>

Frankly I'm taking a lot of liberties based on what we know about Penny, but if they created a machine that can produce Aura, than surely they could have made machines that react and possibly be powered by Aura. Of course that's also assuming Penny is being powered solely by this aura generating machine, though this is where Gren is different because he was once a normal fuanus and can produce his own Aura (Despite most of his fleshy bits mostly being in his head).

We're entering into the hypothetical here but I was under the impression that Penny was powered by something to produce an aura not powered by aura. Which means that she has a separate power source that allows her to produce aura.

Electricity ==> Aura ==> Combat Protection

Not:
Electricity ==> Aura ==> Powers everything else ==> Functional Robot

The logical thing to think is that Penny is powered by a more advanced version of whatever powered the Atlesian Knights which don't have an aura. There is no reason to assume that Penny's aura has any part of how she is powered.
Frankly speaking, aside from trying not to be open about it Gren hasn't really bothered to try to hide the fact he's a Cyborg. He's already a hulking, bulking orc wearing his armor almost all the time, and has rocket boosters coming out of his armor. Now maybe being a walking nuclear reactor would set off more alarms, but I figured Ozpin wouldn't judge someone for who or what they are. But it's not like he's the final word for admittance into Beacon or anything.

Not judging someone for who or what they is one thing. Letting a potential nuclear bomb into your school because your trying not to be judgmental is another. Ozpin wouldn't care that Gren is a cyborg, we've had people with prosthetic limbs before, it's not a problem. The problem is that his prosthesis have the potential to kill everyone.

I see the problem, which is why I mentioned it into the OOC before I put it into the IC. And from what I've seen so far no one likes that idea except me. Put it to a vote if you want, if Gren being nuclear powered is such a wrong thing then I'll concede and choose a different alternative, likely Aura powered or some such. It'd axe Seraph's thought that an EMP would cripple Gren, but I'll pick that up as a secondary victory.

Could you tell me exactly what "Aura powered" means. As far as I'm aware aura is a shield manifested from the soul of the wielder, it doesn't power machinery.

I'm willing to take it as a secondary alternative if it means magnetic pulses don't adversely harm his systems. Still want a Fusion Core, may save it up as an potential upgrade if Gren doesn't pick up Coco's minigun trick.

The fact that he has cybernetics is a huge advantage granting him a plethora of natural abilities over everyone else, increased strength, increased speed, better accuracy and hand eye coordination, more durability and not to mention weapons built into himself for if he ever loses the God Eater. The logical opposite of that is that he should have weaknesses that no one else does. He seems to have as much firepower as Aurelius' tank yet lacks all of the weaknesses that entailed.

Oh fuck no, you can't remake a Robin Williams film without Robin Williams. DEATH! DEATH TO WHOEVER IS INVOLVED! Also are there no original ideas anymore. I mean I get having a similar plot to another movie but for the last like five years all Hollywood has been doing is ripping off ten and twenty year old ideas.
I know everyone is freaking out that Gren has the possibility of being a mobile nuclear disaster, and to be frank, that's kinda the intention of this is discovered IC. I want to see how people would react: Would they see Gren as a threat that needs to be destroyed? Or will they try to help him go for a cleaner, less dangerous alternative? Because I will admit: Gren likes power. He likes the idea that even in his weakest state, he could destroy many people, and many things. The fact that he keeps it a secret is one of the reasons he's seeking Sapphire's position of leadership because he can't be open about how dangerous he can be, like how he was back when he ran with the White Fang. If anyone bothers to try to interact with him and know this side of him, they can chose for themselves if Gren is a dangerous maniac that needs to be put down, or maybe he has issues that need to be addressed and convince him to let go of his power-hungry rage boner.

Hell, the whole reason I even bothered to mention it OoC is to see how people would react to it. And from what it looks like, there is a lot of fear and hatred for what Gren is. For whatever reason. What will you do about it?

No actually the issue is that fact that in a realistic Beacon academy Gren can't get in without this being revealed at least to the higher ups and once it is the likely hood of him being let in is nil. What the fucking kind of school are we in if the headmaster lets a walking bomb in the door without so much as a word.
Key word can, but if built properly it wouldn't happen. Show me actual evidence that it could be, since government agencies seem convinced that a nuclear fission reactor wouldn't be. And this reactor gren had wouldn't exist in rl anyway, since it is small enough to fit into a human body.

And we still don't know the actual energy output it's giving.

Exactly the key word is can. And a school is not going to let anything into the school that has the potential to kill everyone in the school in seconds even if the likely hood is very remote. The fact that it can is enough to not let him in.
Someone could have come up with a perfectly valid containment system/failsafe in the case the reactor is even remotely close to a breach. You know, sorta like a nuclear reactor? I mean RWBY has access to dust.

And in the first place, why did anyone even consider letting it's so called students run off and participate in activity that is regulated to the police/military, not 14-18 year olds.

It seems to me access to dust is more reason why it would explode and not less. The stuff is volatile as shit.

And that age bracket is 17-21. Ruby is an exception, she was admitted several years early because of extreme skill and getting arrested by Goodwitch.

The logical thing for Beacon would be a simple full body scan when a student first accepts his role and another one anytime he has been gone for a long period of time. Just to ensure that they are not smuggling in explosives into the school. Like basic airport security which by the way should be present at the loading docks for the airships which they use to get to Beacon which there is no way in hell Gren would pass.
...there's that Tuath wandering about. The latter I wish to hear your views upon."

I'm important enough to make it into the meeting discussions. Yay!
