Bio

Hello! I'm LadyRunic! But you knew that...

I love most types of Role Play, but by far my favorites are those that are well thought out and worked with. Especially when you can find a group you can work well with. I love books- So many books. It's a running bet that I will become buried under a pile of said objects one day... I'm a tad busy, and when an Rp really catches my interest I'm inpatient for posts. It's like reading a good book and getting stuck on a cliff hanger.

You can generally expect posts regularly once a week if not more.

I've RP'd for the better part of fourteen years, so I can honestly say I have some experience and I've developed the understanding of what I expect of a partner in a one-on-one or a group. I'm also the sort who will speak up and point out something if it looks off or forms a problem to me. I spent most of a year once stuck in a Voice Chat Rp that was hell on Earth, so I'm straight forward when I need to say something. I expect this in return from my Rpers and DMs. I want to improve my writing and love constructive criticism.

Sorry my replies are a bit slower. I'm trying to give you good posts and got a few things going on with life. (Good things, but they still are a pain in the butt!)

Rhys Asher

Location: Wizard Way

The crowning was spectacular, if one enjoyed preformances of the sort. Rhys was merely using it as a way to observe his targets. Match a face to a name so to speak. But as the flash of silver momentarily blinded him and a rogue wind tousseled his hair, the man enjoyed the panick as the crowd became apprehensive. Someone was up to something, Rhys thought. Only to be confirmed by Fleur's kiss and mention of other matters to attend to before she fled into the crowd.

So, it seemed there was interesting things a foot, Rhys had to school his face into a look of shock to hide the feral smile of amusement that formed in part at the situation and in part from Malekith's words. Though there was a purr as he shot after Malekith. "Lover, I could always enjoy your company too." While Rhys didn't enjoy men in such a way, he would enjoy this strange pet of Fleur's as a form of entertainment. Standing and remaining in 'shock, Rhys decided to stick around to see what would happen. Erinnie's little recognize of him had been a fluke! Rhys was no longer the knees and elbows lad he had been and held a much more darker heart. He just had to blend in, become another face and he would be fine. Plus, blackmail helped.
Wincing as the sticks crashed together, jarring her slight form. Stepping back Rys bared 'his' teeth at the foreigner. Taking a second step away, Rys regained her balance as she ducked the blow towards her head. A easy thing to do, as the head was a small target. But a strike there would be incredibly effective. All of which Neriad most likely as knew as an experienced fighter. Not bothering on a reply and wasting breathe. Or risk revealing too much.

Deflecting the blow to her shin, the disguised woman feinted towards the older warrior's head namely the throat, moving her 'staff' aiming a strike for Neriad's armpit. Pain would drive this one out of the fight. The cheers only annoying her as she fought. She didn't want attention, to be noticed. The man she was dueling was riling her anger at the risk he was forcing upon her. Her staff whirled for a second blow into Neriad's wrist.
Alice nodded slightly to Dalton. Watching the scene unfold in terror, the tailor questioned why she was here. She cursed her foolishness to go down that alley with Liam and her romantic notions that had lured from safety. Wringing her hands, the raven haired tailor winced as Aleera was punched and stabbed. Comforted by Dalton's presence she decided not to set Liza on him. The tailor had been considering it, but Alice didn't have it in her. It would hurt Liza and more than that? Dalton was actively trying to keep her out from the fight. A good thing too as she had no experience in such a thing.

"Thank you." Alice whispered the man with glowing golden eyes. "Shouldn't you help them however? I can slip back into the party. He won't be able to do anything without revealing himself-?" It was a weak offer, but the newest made of the vampires winced as Aleera stood up. The pale woman looked worse for wear and her clothing was... It was absolutely sinful! Such a waste of fabric from all three. "Doesn't anyone know how blood ruins cloth?!" Alice hissed her irritation. "Really!" Her foot tapped in rapid irritation, though she did little else aside from shrink further behind Dalton.

Ayita Dyrkin & Richard Laine

Location Blackbird

Ayita cast a worried look at Allison as she stood up, unwilling to let her friend push herself so hard though the shifter didn't challenge it. Who was she to say what the girl could and could not do? Especially if it could help. Frustrated at her own lack of ability to do anything, the younger Laine- despite refusing to take the last name- tightened her jaw. No bird was large enough to take the creatures of man's make that were on their tail. No time was there to chase down and perhaps lure a flock into accepting her dominance. Growling deeply in the back of her throat, she dove into her mind and all the instincts and forms of beasts and bird. Her slight mental awareness as well. Spiraling down into the depths to try and figure something out. She wanted to push, to batter, to kick and claw and beat her mental awareness- this mind power that had come to her a year and half ago and her shifting into what she needed. Perching herself so that if Allison did collaspe she'd have to go through Ayita to cause serious damage to herself, the wild woman dove and tore through her forms. Tiger, wold, bear, deer, horse. Land bound and useless. Hawk, eagle, owl, raven, sparrow, and falcon. Not fast enough and too weak. Her fists bit into her palms as she pushed her memory. Demanding something she had never asked for before. Pushing the power to give her the idea of the form she needed. Letting instinct guide her. If she could take the shape of any mammal or bird, then by hell there had to be something she could do!

The Adder stretched out his legs slightly, casting a worrisome look at his sister. Even after over a decade apart he could tell one thing off the bat. Ayita did not like to be helpless, to sit by and do nothing. Patience and waiting were one thing, this however? It rankled her. He, on the other hand, was used to it. Army, assassination, Brotherhood. His eyes however never left his sister. His legs moving in case he needed to intervene. They did not need a bear rampaging on the flying object that was quite high in the sky. "Human, cher. Do not shift." He doubted his warning would be heeded, she tended to get the bit between her teeth.
Alice flinched back as Dalton gave a chilling order. She didn't care to be order about, but Alice had to admit that Dalton knew this situation better than she. Which was why the raven haired tailor gave a timid nod, and shrunk further behind the being. No long entirely sure that Dalton was human. Alice pinched her arm to ascertain herself this was not a dream, which it was most certainly not. Questions whirled in her mind and each was more curious than the last. Who was this man they spoke of? What made these three hate Liam so much that her own rage paled in comparison? There were more but Liam's words silenced them.

The tailor's mask hid her pale pallor as the vampire that turned her declared Aleera's, Thomas's and Dalton's lives forfeit. Why? For her and her 'honeyed' blood? For the ambrosia she would never let him taste again? She almost wanted to laugh at his absurd notion that she would allow him to drink from her once more! As if she had allowed it the first time! If he wanted her life? She'd make him work for it and she would try to take him with her. Though her green eyes widened in horror as her walking nightmare palmed a rather serious looking knife. Perhaps taking him with her wasn't going to be an option. Shrinking further behind Dalton she whispered a very shaky agreement. "Y-yes."
Ryssa felt a fierce glee as Neriad was forced to block and then blinded as her ploy worked. Moving quickly, for speed was her best weapon when a man like this one had the weight and strength. The sand shifted under her shod feet as she moved, for better or worse sand cushioned noise if one was not listening for it. But if one was of a very keen ear it was easy enough to pick out. So Ryssa moved all the quicker, her staff whirling to strike the points where muscles joined with joints on Neriad's body. Namely the knees and elbows. Had the warrior, Rhys, been trying to kill the fellow pirate, he would have gone for the head or neck. A good jab right in the throat would have bought even more time for damage to be dealt.
Sorry for the delay!

Ayita Dyrkin & Richard Laine

Location Blackbird
{"Loyalty."}

Richard gave Nina a charming from as she gave a disapproving look at his comments. It was merely a way to distract himself and keep calm in this turbulent time. Both Laines braced as the Blackbird shuddered, the hit making Ayita snarl defensively. Her arms wrapping about Allison like a mantling bird of prey. Her eyes had the same look of a cornered animal about them. To be expected when you were in the sky being chased by people who wanted to kill or held you! Her teeth grew into slight fangs as she looked to her bother, Richards eyes were nothing but cold fury.

"Can you perhaps focus on holding the Blackbird stable?" The elder sinking questioned Allison. His sister's rage focusing on him and quite ready to attack if Richard pushed the issue. "Telekentic And all. Bite me Ay." He wasn't in the mood to play games with his sister, but the gleam in her eyes worried him.

"Perhaps... Brother." turning her gaze to the other the wild woman tilted her head. "If we are over water, ocean or sea I might be able to lure them away." Richard gave a sharp hiss of distaste and several other words as to what he thought of that idea. If Ayita took the form or an orca. There was a risk she would not return. Her love for the creature ran deep and that was her weakness when swimming in it's instinct.

Rhys Asher

Location: Wizard Way

Rhys gave a mocking smile, though a private one to Fluer as she curtsied and chattered about how excited she was for the coronation. Not that Rhys shared the excitement but he did incline his handsome face. "Who would nit be so thrilled for such a momentous occasion!" But the rest of what the rogue wizard wished to say was cut off as a brute of a man swept by him to make off with his little morsel of a witch! Not the Fleur was a morsel, more akin to a full meal, but the principal was still the same. As was the insult from the dark man.

But Rhys was no new comer to the game and moved with cat like grace to the Witch Mother's spare side giving a slight bow of his head. Daring even to kiss her hand on a player's gesture. "Allow me to join you fairest woman. And we shall see wonder we have not for far too long. Perhaps I could monopolize your time for a more private dinner tonight." Nothing more than a man chasing a pretty face, or so it would look as Rhys too the seat on Fleur's spare side. Giving a wink and charming smile to other women about him. Player at heart and harmless. Unless his eyes were on a woman already taken.
