It takes time, makes him vulnerable, but the effect stacks. It's not as powerful as someone charging up a death ray, but it gets the job done if it needs to be done.

Though the rings can be 'charged' but they hold their charge. By moving the rings to a different part of the body, they build up a charge.

Passive ability, the word engine requires a charge and then becomes passive.

T1, though I'm not the best at T1 I suppose. As I made a noticeable fuckup earlier.

I posted, I hope you enjoy the bad start for your character. Sorry if I'm coming off as aggressive with my first move though. Being hosed from the start by the global nerf on projectiles kind of forces me to be as aggressive as possible.

This is true, but GT is like, zero filler. It gets down to the nitty gritty pretty swiftly.

Also, @ the planning out thing. I never do that, I write purely on the actions and reactions in relation to the previous actions and reactions. Everything comes naturally in pace with the fight for me.

I only plan if I've got a few turns to spare.

I didn't realize that the last fight of GT was 6 and a half episodes long. By any account, that's way too long.
