"If you kill a man, you scorn his wife. If you kill his wife, you scorn her child. If you kill her child, you scorn his village. If you kill his village, you scorn the kingdom. If you kill the kingdom you scorn an empire. If you kill an empire, then who is left?"

Before you do that, lemme rephrase. He's not attacking, he's blocking. His knee being raised up and intercepting the shoulder is what would be considered the attack. The effect of Darligrov would activate when Fury's shoulder and Kanitah's knee meet.

He's not lunging forward to knee at him, he's standing still and raising his knee.

Ah, must have misread the blasts part. I figured that he was using the blasts to accelerate himself.

I'll go ahead and edit out the punch to his crown.

Edit: Done.

Double Edit: Nevermind.
No, the leg raising upwards ruins his stability. Fury would still land on top of him, that's not his goal. He's trying to hurt Fury as much as possible before the grapple on the ground happens.

In effect he's kneeing Fury's shoulder to cause it pain, possibly dislocate it, and make it less effective, as well as delivering a blow to the top of his head as they're careening towards the ground. Again, to make him less effective.

However, the cost of this sort of assault is a guaranteed lower body pin. If they were in a ring, Kanitah wouldn't have considered this as it would instantly put him to the mat. But, since they're outside in what's comparable to a random street fight, it's a useful move. Because there's nobody there to start count down because he's pinned.
I missed the stop on my way home. I'm totally stranded at the moment. Panic mode on hold
Option C was always there for selection, and Fury had opted for it. The distance between them was rapidly decreased as Fury blasted towards Kanitah. If his foe had thought this was going to go off without a hitch he'd be dead wrong. With less than a second to react he had only one option to defend himself.

Kanitah lifted his right leg upwards in a sharp knee block, putting it between his stomach and Fury's shoulder. The force of him raising his knee skyward and Fury's own speed would cause his shoulder some intense pain. Possibly dislocating it in the process.

As well, he brought down a strike towards Fury's head with his tightly balled up fist. Aiming to disorient and stun his foe. However, a blast of energy slowed his descending arm. This would ruin his aim towards Fury's head.

As his defense was raised, however, Fury did slam into him. Full speed and full force was enough to send the pair flying backwards. His left arm helplessly dangling in the air as they flew. The strike to his knee might have popped the bone out of place, but as long as it would serve it's purpose he didn't care yet.

Once the two finally land, however, he knew he'd be in a world of trouble.

Fury loves to grapple.
I actually thought I was losing points for losing the fight, so no offense taken.
Should I go with deception or should I go with a direct assault? These are the thoughts that danced in his head as his foe closed the gap, it had always seemed that Kanitah was in way over his head. Deception might work, if Fury was starting to get angry as he had planned. With his still aching right hand he dipped down to the ground, grabbing a handful of damp earth and grass. As he spoke he took on his most serious scowl. Didn't really know how well this would go over, but it didn't really have any risks.

"Did you think you had seen every magic that I hold within?" He rose to his full height with a handful of dirt. "All I need is a pinch of dirt!" With a few nonsense words and noises he pitched it high in the air, we'll above his head and roundabouts where the sun should be. If it went off without a hitch, Fury would look directly into the sun and away from Kanitah. This would allow him time to rapidly close the gap between them without much risk.

Well. Without as much risk as normal.

If Kanitah got lucky, he would be able to enact the second part of his plan. A swift left hook to the broken segment of Fury's armor. The punch would shatter it even further and potentially be able to send his foe flying.

If Fury didn't even look towards the dirt, however, Kanitah would do nothing but return to a defensive stance,
Bunky. There it was, there was the made up word that General Freedom's sort always used as a makeshift insult. Every cock-sure hero with a self-righteous belief system had one. The last guy that had tried to snuff Sigmund's pilot light had said something along the lines of "Darlin'." Way too personal, way out of line. If he had the ability to feel bad for what he did, he still wouldn't, because calling someone you're going to try and beat the hell out of 'Darling' is creepy.

But for Freedom, he said "Bunky." How he hated the people who slung these made up words around. So much for good people, they sacrifice everything and for what? Delaying the inevitable? They just want to go down in history as someone special, they're not standing up to any real monsters. Sigmund kills people, but at least he ends their lives. He doesn't put them into debt, starve them for being born poor, and cause so much emotional trauma that people kill themselves over it.

No, he isn't a hero. General Freedom is a dandy in a shiny suit with a cool name, someone with a sense of self-importance that dwarfs every other aspect of who they are. Being a hero is the ultimate vanity, claiming that you're above everyone else. That it is your job to save the lives of people who can't stand up for themselves.

The next part won't actually make any sense to Freedom, because Sigmund has been internally monologing this whole time. He didn't hear any of the prefacing commentary, leaving him with a disjointed statement of; "But that's just the natural order of things! Survival of the fittest! The weakest fall and the strongest stand!"

The weight slammed into his chest, accelerated by Freedom's throw. It glanced off of him and clattered to the ground, slowing his pace by only a few steps.

The Wildman dipped down, the cloak shimmering and fading for a moment. Revealing his twisted face to Freedom, killing intent burning hotly in his eyes. A twisted grin showing the gaps in his teeth. "You're disrupting the natural order, Freedom! I'm the apex predator, and you're my first hunt of the day!"

The fight was finally coming to blows, Sigmund lurched towards Freedom with his right hand prepared for a hard straight to Freedom's jaw. Punctuated by an explosive with enough force to punch a hole in a city bus. Sigmund's first move was to try and knock Freedom through the wall behind him.
Returning to the scene at the table in the dining hall, Kanitah's plates had all been removed save for the human delicacy referred to as 'Turducken.' A fantastic sort of meal that had actually brought a tear to the Pundambayan's eye. Three beasts stuffed one after another into eachother and then cooked, seasoned heavily and laid out as though it were just some slab of meat. Presentation was its weakest point, but the concept and flavor was truly something to behold. For someone who was raised on hyper-gravity food, lesser gravity foods are so much lighter and more tender. Even the toughest of steaks and jerkys pale in comparison, so human food was rapidly becoming a favorite of Kanitah's.

With a Turkey Leg, Chicken Leg, and Duck Leg between each finger he gnawed on the juicy bulbs of different flavored meat. The noises he made as the meat fell apart to his tongue and teeth were unpleasant, but the flavor was so savory that he didn't care.

As his eyes drifted across the room, noticing for the first time the swooning warrior and the unconscious one as well, he saw a skeletal figure making its way through the door. Tall som'bitch. Purple bits and such, dressed like a tart though.

Meh, dresses like a weirdo and looks to be an undead. Can't be any worse than some of the other unpleasantries he's faced down. With his free hand, his right hand, Kanitah waved to the newcomer. Opting to not speak for two reasons;

A: He doesn't have his translator in.
B: It's rude to speak with your mouth full.
Eating up all the damn food.

Yer god damn right.
A huge block of concrete and rebar slammed into his left side, a hot wave of pain passed through his body as it struck his exposed bone. Sigmund was sent careening from his course and back inside of the building's second floor. The block embedded itself into the structure and he was sent feet first into the floor where he stumbled and fell to the ground again, catching himself with his hand. A constant stinging and ringing ran through his body and ears, the block hadn't even caused him to bleed but just by scraping across the exposed bone it had left him in unreasonable pain.

Sigmund slapped the floor repeatedly, caving it in deeper and deeper with every strike before shoving himself back up to his feet and whipping around. His face beneath the cloak twisting into a fierce scowl, he knelt down slightly. The muscles in his legs tightened up as he readied for a full speed charge, the veins in his calves bulging as he tensed up.

With his first step, the floor cracked under the force released by his step. And he was off in full sprint with his right arm raised to cover his face.

Sigmund slammed into the still lodged block of concrete, dislodging it and sending it flying back in the direction that it came from.

Behind the flying block that was heading towards Freedom, Sigmund pursued in a full bodied leap. Both legs and one arm extended forward to catch himself if Freedom managed to intercept the block. This would serve to add his weight to the block's own, increasing the impact on Freedom if he caught it.
