The Hot Headed, Heavy Hitters, Have it Out (Fury vs Kanitah, Round 2)

The catch was unsuccessful to say the least, Fury's foot slammed its toe into his cupped hands. If he hadn't put his hand in front of his knee it would have broken his fingers. Instead of breaking them it simply popped his pinky and ring finger out of socket before sending Kanitah sliding to his right. The momentum carried from Fury's kick caused him to slide across the ground, pushing him outside of the crater and back into the grass. A path was cut in the grass by his weight being propelled across it, as he slowed down the rut grew shallower until it was no more.

The Pundambayan winced in pain as he grabbed his right hand with his left, what he was about to do next was going to hurt like hell. With his left hand he grabbed the two dislodged fingers and pulled sharply. Snapping the two of them back into place, causing a few tears to burst from his eyes. Reminded him of pulling nose hairs, but worse.

A few dozen yards away from Fury, Kanitah stood there with his right hand cupped in his left. Panting slightly and sweating from the pain of popping his fingers back into socket. "I had hoped that would go better, I'll be honest."

His name is Torrg. He's got the ability to stop time from his perspective.

Torrg during the stoppage of time, cannot move, he cannot even turn his head. The only thing that can be move is his eyes.

He sees the current path of movement of any object that is currently moving, based on the momentum and the direction. Allowing him to attempt to predict the movements of his opponents.

While time is stopped, he cannot move and nothing else can. Meaning it's not an offensive ability, it's a utility ability.

And re-iterating. This would totally be a high tiered character.

Oh dude I didn't mean as a low or mid tier character, no way. Time stopping automatically makes you a high tiered character.

My mid tier time stopper is an inwards stop, halting his own perception of time to analyze everything that's happening to him before restoring time.

Like any action, the action can be stopped, predicted, seen, or interrupted. If the action has a big enough tell, then preparing a defense in response to it is entirely possible.

So, I was working on a time based character. I've had a few in the past, some of them work, some of them don't.

But, I found a way to make Time Stopping Viable.

Make it functionally the same as charging a spell in T1.

The First Turn is the Freezing of time, and the charge.
The Second Turn is the Attack while in Frozen Time, and blowing the charge.

Meaning that the way to resist it, is to charge a defense equally. Meaning that if you know it's coming, you can resist it.
