Let me see if I can put what I mean in a better way. Reversing entropy isn’t on a strict timetable, or you would have taken us all down years ago. If we get together and try the ritual: if there’s even a chance that it will work, then it’s got to be better than picking us off one by one, at least until you find out for sure that it’s useless.
Even if a mixed ritual would be successful, the original problem has not been solved.
