This is my life force. I am able to project it out in a way that would allow for spiritual tuning. It's a technique I learned when I was younger.

For osme reason, anything embedded with my life force can cut through amaranthine, as I found out when I channeled my life force into my sword. I have no idea why it works, or why it's specifically only me that it works with...but I have a feeling that my dearly departed ex-wife Kirina has something to do with it.

This sample appears to be able to remove itself from reality entirely. Initially the substance was unrecoverable, but tweaking the variables enabled later fragments to rematerialize after a short timer expired.
