Sakaki stopped and closed her eyes. It had been a long, long time since she'd eaten lunch with someone else. She sighed heavily. Why not? It would at least serve to pass the time. She turned around and stared deeply into the girl's eyes for a good three seconds, then slid hers laconically closed once more and dropped her head a fraction of an inch. "I suppose. Your name?" she asked, settling into a desk in front of the one the girl was sitting in. She leaned her head back, letting her long hair pool on the floor. A flash of something other than black may have appeared somewhere in there, but it was gone before it was really there. She had a strange feeling of foreboding. Something bad was approaching, she could feel it. Today was going to be one of those days...
That actually works really well, because then we have Sakaki, who has no business telling people how to make friends, as a member of a group that does just that. I can see her making somebody feel reeaally awkward. It sounds brilliant. Now who shall suggest it?

But yeah, a better name is probably a good thing.
So yeah, at this point, Sakaki is just going to become an unwilling tag-along member of whatever club Hotaru is dreaming up. I can't wait, this will be glorious.

Irritated with the sudden change in control of the conversation, Sylvia though of how to respond. She took hold of one of the poles on the train to balance herself.Sylvia impulsively started twirling her coin in between her fingers.Sylvia realized that her time was running short, she had to answer now. "Well then, " she said with spite, "You'll have to earn the respect that comes with a name. I was just wondering why, oh I don't know, in the middle of whatever you want to call this, you're chasing someone who was trying to hide their face. Understandable, no? Oh and as for name," Sylvia paused for a moment, and then with the slightest hint of a smirk said, "Evelyn. Nice to meet you."Sylvia stopped twirling her coin and held it in a fist for a moment before putting it away and out stretching her newly freed hand to this "Gavin"

Gavin stared into her eyes as he took her hand and shook it, and one fact instantly became clear in his mind. She's lying. Outwardly, though, he made no movement to betray his conviction. "Nice to meet you as well, Evelyn, though I wish we could've done so on better circumstances. Really though, what's with these freaky aliens anyway? They're acting like we should just obey them without question." His eyes once again narrowed, something he tended to do quite often. "I don't know about them. There's something not quite right about all this, and I mean to find out what it is. Who knows, maybe I'll even run into that kid again." He shook his head to clear the thoughts.

"So, what are you here for? What's your little quirk?" He reached out and touched the steel pole she was grasping, twisting it into a spiral. "I think mine is pretty evident."
This sounds pretty cool. Count me in if you make it!
Well then. Sakaki had spent the past hour or so searching for that little piece of paper in the classroom and had found nothing. Having inquired about it to a classmate, she learned that it had flown out the door, and now she roamed the halls, searching for anywhere it might be or anyone that may have taken it. Passing by a random classroom and looking in, her eyes instantly zeroed in on a boy who now stood talking to a group of others. In his hand was that same sheet of paper, a sketch visible on it. Surreptitiously sliding the door open, she floated in silently, coming up behind the boy and reaching for the paper. Just three or four more steps...

The girl that had been bullied that morning suddenly shouted, startling Sakaki. She stumbled back a pace, and the illusion of invisibility was broken. Instead, she simply walked up to the boy and looked down at his frail face. "I am Sakaki Kimura. I believe you have something that belongs to me."

With that, she gripped the piece of paper and tore it out of the boys hands. Disaster. Complete and utter disaster. Why did I not act more tactfully? Now everyone in this entire ROOM knows that I draw this stuff. My life is over. Over. Glaring piercingly around the room, she headed for the door.
Gavin glanced down at his hand in surprise. "Oh, haha. Sorry about that, it happens sometimes. So, why I was chasing him..." His hand went to his chin, which he rubbed thoughtfully before shrugging. "Well, I didn't really have anything better to do, I was curious as to WHY he was running in the first place, and I needed to get out of there myself. And just to let you know, I have a name. You know, like most people? I don't appreciate being simply known as boy regardless of my age, girl. My name is Gavin and I wish to be addressed as such." His eyes narrowed as the silvery knife melted back down, crawling up his arm and solidifying itself firmly in place as a bracelet once more.

"Now, my question. Why are you so interested? You don't ask someone if they were attacking somebody simply because they bump you on the way to a train. What's your investment in this situation?"
Haru's eyes dropped. "Oh, I-I thought you were a third year. I'm a first year, so I don't know anyone yet...I'm sorry." He seemed to deflate, sighing, when another boy came to the table, this time a strange foreigner with the strangest-coloured hair Haru had ever seen. He looked much older, and Haru was positive he was a senior. Perking up a bit more, he gratefully accepted the apple before tiptoing over to the guy and tapping his shoulder.

"Um, Senpai...Do you recognize the name Kimura Sakaki?" He pointed to the name on the drawing once again. "I found this, and I wanted to give it back to her. Do you, by any chance, know her? I would be very grateful if you could tell me." He crunched into the apple, chewing idly and swallowing as he waited for an answer. Seeing an empty seat, he sat down in the desk next to Hotaru, smiling at her.
Sakaki is going to be very upset in the near future if the school finds out about her little manga hobby. Her fate lies with Tanaka! Woo!
Haru walked into the classroom and, surprise surprise, saw an older boy there, most likely a third year, talking to Hotaru. He clenched his hand around the manga he found in the hallway and walked slowly and carefully up to him, bowing at each in turn:

"Hello, Hotaru-san. Hello, Senpai. I've actually been wanting to ask something, if that's alright." Not waiting for a response, he placed the piece of paper on the desk, pointing his finger at the name in the top-right corner. "Do you know who Kimura Sakaki is? I found this in the hallway and I'm pretty sure it belongs to her. I wanted to return it, so I was hoping you could point me in the right direction."

His stomach grumbled loudly and he sighed. Even though he had long gotten used to not eating during lunch, only studying, that didn't mean he had to like it!
