Ross was more than happy to see the night events finally end. He appreciated the fake ID, it might be nice to finally be able to move around somewhere without getting chased by the feds. Ross finished his final drink before getting up and promptly leaving. He was more than eager to sleep, jet lag finally kicking in. He'd head off for the hotel Lady Eve said was down the road, he didn't want to hang around with any of theses people, not yet at least. After gathering his things he'd head out of the house without a word, slinging his bag over one shoulder and heading down the road to the hotel.

Well this is going to be interesting isn't it? Who would've thought that you'd end up here? Helping some warlock Yank clean up their city. Gotta love magic... Ross would enter the hotel and drag himself to his room, crashing onto his bed. He didn't unpack or anything, his primary concern was sleep.

Ross would wake up the next morning with a head splitting headache. Groaning as he rolled out of bed, her trudge his way into the hotel dining area and got himself a continental breakfast. His head pounded as he sipped his coffee, he sighed knowing that he'd have to go back to that mansion soon. He'd just have to suck it up and get on with it, that's what his mother used to say.

He did what little thinking he could as he ate some bread with jam on it. He seemed to keep focusing on what kind of troubles they'd have to face. If this lady needed this many people for her cause, then the threats would have to be substantial wouldn't they? He hoped he'd still be useful. He knew that back in Edinburgh he was a pretty big deal, but he'd not come into contact with a warlock, and had no idea what kind of capabilities they had. So for all he knew, he was now the small fry on the block, being vastly out o his depth. He then reminded himself of what Lady Eve had said about them being the only ones who'd made it to her mansion, and how many others were contacted. And so far nothing super crazy had been shown off by the Warlocks, not that he knew who they were, but he assumed it was everyone else, Even the Kid. He managed to convince himself that it must've just been that he was so skilled with just his magic, that he was comparable to warlocks. Yeah that was it.
Don't worry about. Real life comes first. I hope things turn out alright for you.

Silvia fidgeted in her seat, she was a little worried about how this whole event was going to go down. So many people coming, so many people going to see her, so many people going to ask questions. She was freaking out. She tapped her fingers on her leg, but this tapping was rather loud given her metallic skin, so she quickly stopped. She started looking around, trying to distract herself with something until the event started. She looked over at the cape sat close to her, she smiled awkwardly at them before quickly looking back into her lap. She didn't actually know who they were, all she knew is they were heroes. Little did she know she was next to the most popular cape in Denver.

The wait felt like an eternity, her worries nagging at her, making her want to leave. But her fears were only full realized when people quickly stared swarming in, so many people, so many eyes. How many of these eyes would be on her? No. How many of these eyes were on her? And it appeared not as many as she thought, she was getting some people looking at her, but most eyes seemed to be on the man next to her. He must be pretty amazing then. This helped her stress levels drop considerably, but her feet still fidgeted under her table.

She was caught off guard when she saw a few people walking towards her, she forced herself to calm down a bit, putting on a smile for the civilians. She looked down at the first, the first in the small line was actually a little kid, his parents followed behind him although they didn't share the kids boundless enthusiasm. The child was bouncing around almost, almost unable to contain his excitement, he couldn't have been over 7 years old.

"Hello! Can I take a picture with you!?"

Sylph didn't know what to say, the kid was so excited to see her. She was mostly surprised honestly, but also a little happy. Her smile shifted from nervous to genuine as she got out of her chair.

"Of coarse you can. As long as your parents are alright with it."

Silvia looked over to the kids parents, looking for their confirmation. They both nodded, the mother chuckling a little as the dad produced a camera. With that Sylph knelt down next to the kid, smiling brightly for the photo. The kid poked out his for the photo while Sylph just smiled and spread her wings out a little. The camera flashed and the kid ran back to his parents to get a look at how it came out.

"Thank you Sylph! You're so cool!"

Sylphy got back into her seat smiling at the boy as he was guided of by his parents.

"You're very welcome."

Sylph was feeling oddly calm, who knew taking a photo with someone could be such a confidence boost?

Sylph had managed to get through the entire event without crumbling into an emotional mess. That was a plus. She looked over at the really popular man, she'd found out he was Furnace. She'd heard a little bit about him but not that much. But he was indeed a big deal it seemed, but Sylph's gave drifted over to wards. So that was the entire team, maybe she could meet them. Yeah. She'd go over and talk to the, she wasn't that much older than them but her stature might make that a little hard to deduce. She slowly got up, her wings folding up neatly behind her. She'd approach the wards like a cautious puppy, twiddling her thumbs, and head hanging low.

"H-hello."

Sylph said with a little wave, she instantly regretted her decision to try talk with the wards, she should have just stayed on her seat. She almost let out a whimper as she took a step back, she'd only talked with Epsilon, all the others were strangers. Instinctively her gaze drifted over to the Epsilon, her eye were practically asking for help. She wanted to walk away, but that would be so awkward it might kill her. Sylph had gotten herself stuck.

"I'm Chris."

Chris seemed to be a decent individual. At least for someone of the undercity, most of the people down here would either rob you, or be too starving to do all that much. This man was one of the few outliers. Their hands connected and she felt a large pain in her hand, she didn't react aside form a slight eye twitch. But unfortunately her fear was realized, when Chris's hand got some of her blood from the gash on her hand.

"Stop me if I'm wrong."

Maggy didn't like where this was going, the jig was probably up. But she didn't want to just attack this man, if he had any kind of weapon or ability, her wounds put her at a huge disadvantage. Even if he couldn't see them, he could hit one on accident and cause her to bleed, and she was running low on blood as it was.

"You're a non-human, and you're using illusion magic to hide what you really look like. This illusion magic is the same reason I can't see how badly beat up you are, and you aren't going to see a private doctor, nor a hospital because you fear the backlash of them discovering what you are."

Maggy tried playing it cool, avoiding showing signs of aggression. She was indeed considering doing something violent, but for now she was going to listen to him, see what his intent was. She slowly removed her mask, showing off her violet eye, she then tossed the mask off to the side and it dissipated mid air, crumbling into bright specs of dust. She didn't need to cover her face at this point, this man knew things.

"You aren't a known race, that much is obvious. Only three humanoid species exist with purple blood, and none of them are capable of using magic as advanced as full-body Illusion. So you've either been in hiding, or you're a new race, and either way you can't risk them taking your blood and figuring this out, right?"

Maggy didn't drop her disguise, just because he knew there was a disguise didn't mean he knew what was underneath. He knew she was an unknown, and she planned to stay that way. She wasn't sure how to deal with the situation. "You're almost spot on. Everything except the doctor, I do indeed have one. But I don't think you'll meet them." With that, Maggy grabbed Chris by the neck and pushed him against a wall. "I don't know who you are, but you will leave me alone now. My life is hard enough as it is without people like you snooping around. So if you know what's good for you, you won't follow me. You will also forget we ever met."

Maggy would then release Chris and back off. Limp making itself more clear as she slipped, having to catch herself. She growled and stood back up. She didn't feel her threat would be taken very seriously given her obvious state of weakness, but she still knew she'd be able to strangle the life out of an average person.

Ross watched the big reveal unfold. So the Tough looking dude was actually Lady Eve's kid? Fuck that shit, at least he didn't have to worry about the kid saying anything about his parents, wait shit he was thinking about them right now, fuck quick hide it! Ross looked at the brain on the table as everything got resolved. Ross was indeed still interested, he wasn't sure if he'd have a good drinking buddy out of any of these people though. What did that matter? He'd been his own drinking buddy plenty of times.

Ross finished off his drink as the Aussie kid spoke up. She seemed a right little shit now, at least in Ross' eyes. She seemed extremely overconfident, but what were you to expect from a 12 year old. Ross wasn't sure if she was twelve or not, but he thought that'd be a good guess.

Then the chick, uhhh shit he'd already forgotten her name hadn't he? Wait no it was Denver! No that was wrong, Denvy? Shit... Devyn! That was it, her. She was. well she seemed alright, she was done with the games, that was something Ross could respect.

Ross put down his glass, finally done with his forth glass. He then nodded over in Devyn's direction. "Like the lady said. Enough games. As for my interest. I stand by what I said earlier. I'm in." Any kind of caution was out of his head now, multiple factors lead him to being suddenly more confident, the largest one being alcohol. as he finished he'd shoot a glared at Carnation just to make sure she knew he didn't like her, being fair he didn't like any of them yet, but being more fair, he didn't like anyone.

Maggy would be limping along the road when she would hear someone behind her, their footsteps getting closer. Maggy stopped when she heard the mans question, she quickly turned around. "No that won't be needed! I uh... I mean... No thank you. I have a private doctor I am going to see now actually. I'll be fine. I do thank you for your concern though." This boy seemed nice, and rather handsome. She was still a smidgen taller than him, something she was fairly unused to. At least from humans.

"My name is Maggy by the way. Nice to meet you." Maggy would hold out her hand waiting for a handshake. Maggy coughed a few times forcing her to retract the extended hand to cover her mouth. Coughing toxic phlegm onto someone was something she preferred to avoid. "Sorry about that." Shit this complicated things. she'd chosen that hand for the handshake because there wasn't a giant gash on it under the disguise. But she couldn't risk looking suspicious, so she'd have to hope the wound wouldn't bleed onto this mans hand. That'd make things even more complicated.

Maggy held out the wounded hand, her disguise making it look perfectly normal. "Let's try that again shall we?" Maggy said with a fake chuckle, as she wiped whatever gunk that was on her other hand off on her dress.

Maggy would get back to the train station looking perfectly fine, aside from a little limp. She was using her disguise to mask her plethora of wounds, she was hurt bad but her cuts did not bleed. She was lucky for that, or her disguise would be all but useless. She seemed calm for the most part, like some kind of anger or frustration had left her, two days of killing things would be sure to settle someone down a little bit. Or make them a psychotic maniac. It wasn't clear which Maggy was at this point.

She didn't breath a word to the other passengers, only noticing there was a new one, they seemed to be in place of that kid. Perhaps he used a disguise like Maggy, or the other kid died and this was some demon getting a ride out of hell. Maggy was ready for the train this time, standing firmly as it sped up, the abrupt stop made her hiss in pain as the leg with the limp was slammed onto the floor. Her eye flared red for but a moment before she calmed back down. The train had left them in some alley that was fine, she'd leave these people and get some medical attention.

Maggy slowly limped her way into the undercity, she didn't want any of the hospitals taking her blood or anything. She had no idea what she was and wanted to make sure she wasn't some kind of monster destined to kill the gods and enslave the planet. Or else life would be incredibly hard for her, however short it would be.
