Point taken on not being a pawn. Also, I'd argue with you that even a less harsh version of the Spartan training is immoral, but I'm tired. Adam is okay as he is right now; I'd like him to develop more as a character in the future, but right now, he's not that bad as long as he doesn't stay the way he is.

You're not messing up in any major or big way, it's just that your character either isn't psychologically accurate, or is psychologically accurate, but in a way that's creepy. As for playing a grey character, that's all right, it's just that Adam's 'greyness' is expressed through, well, how do I put it? A blind faith in his father and the US Gov't, and a refusal to acknowledge that there are flaws in need of fixing, or, alternatively, that he can fix them all by himself. As for not being generic, that's to be praised. Look, the problem is that Adam is a person who, although he's grey himself, doesn't see shades of grey. He also isn't conscious about the implications of how he's been treated, even though he's supposed to be a genius. As mentioned, he thinks that being brainwashed into a killing machine is an ideal state, and, well, if you want him to not be generic, have him realize that it's not, it's unethical and he's been broken and reshaped into being a pawn. He doesn't have to see it right away, just gradually.

He still never killed anyone until he was an adult, and does it really matter since most of the heroes in this rp seem to have killed at one point or another

Yes, it matters; most of the heroes did kill people, but it was entirely their own choice - they weren't indoctrinated to believe they wanted to kill, they weren't influenced while young to believe that they are a living weapon/killing machine, they had powers, they chose to use it as adults, and chose to kill without childhood brainwashing to convince them that it was a good idea. And, again, Adam is insulting Cedric for refusing to be coerced and brainwashed, and, again, is proud of being a living weapon without a normal childhood. That is not a good thing.

"I know about you Cedric, you were chosen by federal agents to become a hero working in Los Angeles, but you ran away and got caught. They say you have no discipline and act like a child. I will be your superior not just by age but also by training and loyalty and bravery. I have been training with the government since I was a little boy and when you were still watching Barney." he said to Cedric with contempt.

Cedric was being forcibly seized, drafted and coerced as a kid; of course he would run away. When he 'got caught', he was beaten up and tasered repeatedly. Both of that was multiple levels of wrong. Adam is proud of being put through actual military training as a kid. That is also multiple levels of wrong. Patriarch, I hate to say this, but Adam is fucking screwed up. He's basically contemptuous of people who just want to avoid becoming child soldiers/is proud of being put through military training as a kid. And, before you ask, yes, I remember you saying that no, Adam wasn't a child soldier, he was someone who got put through a tougher version of military school by the Government. That...that's not how things go IRL. Military School is not the same as being trained to kill people in the future, so what Adam went through was not military school.

Suddenly, Ruby, Adam, Light, and the Unknown Meta would sense the presence of another person, just above the skies. Two other people, in fact. One was an obvious creation of Isabella's, a Gargoyle with chameleon skin that, if not for the disturbance, would still not have been enough to keep him secret. The other...was Cedric Wessex, who was holding a knife to said Gargoyle's throat and forcing it to go wherever he wished. "Well, look at who came spying," spoke the boy. "And look at what I just overheard." He then looked down at Adam. "Adam Savage, I am proud to say that I have never been your fan. Seeing you right now, I see that you're no different from Ruby; both of you are people who let their ideologies turn you into casual killers, who draw the line between good and evil in an arbitary fashion - granted, I do that too, but I digress - and who think nothing of putting down anyone who so much as opposes you. And, of course, you're loyal to a deluded scientist father who has committed crimes against humanity. Let me just say this: when I grow up, I'm going to have a higher rank than you, and I'm going to order you around like a peon." "Ruby," Cedric's face then turned genuinely pitying. "You don't know as much as you think you know. Those people at the FBI building you killed? They were not just faceless villains, they were people as well, even the bad ones. And they had nothing to do with those that victimized you. Why can I afford to be so sanctimocious about this? Because I'm going to put my money where my mouth is, and create the sort of world I want, and woe to those who get in my way." He then continued: "You are a victim. You have gone through pain and suffering. But I will not accept you lashing out against the world, causing others to undergo what you went through, just because you've suffered worse than other people. You are not going to deprive families of their legal breadwinners, you are not going to leave widows and orphans in your wake. You have one last chance to leave off, that is all I will give you." A lie; Cedric was prepared to give as many chances as he wanted. "Now you," he turned to the last Meta. "I dislike enigmatic minions; they mean that we do not know the whole picture. We will meet again. Now, Haakon, let's go, I'm taking you to jail." And with that, the Gargoyle flew off. "One last thing!" he shouted, "The final battle is coming soon! I can feel it!"

Dangit, several very good friends of mine IRL side with the Imperials, but, well, I can't bring myself to do the same, except in my own Skyrim videogame. Guess I'll just leave this game's version of Skyrim to languish in darkness, then. Sorry for wasting your time.

Ah, understood. I wanted to oust both the Imperials or Stormcloaks from Skyrim, and rule over it as High King. However, if that isn't possible, well, it's not possible.
