Hello everyone!!! Ill start off by saying my name is James, and I am 31 years old! I have been into forms of RP for a long long time, starting way back in the runescape days circa 2002 (still play runescape to this day), I also did some WoW PvP RP, and Elder Scrolls Online RP, again with PVP but also some PVE, and most recently I have been into GTA RP where I live a life of crime in a street gang in Los Santos! I have always found RP fascinating, as its a way for me to escape reality, and lets be honest, sometimes we all need that!

A great friend of mine showed me this website and Im super excited to be involved! If I had to pick an ideal RP scene, its hands down, anything medieval with magic and fantasy creatures (Skyrim vibes) Ive always been drawn to the lure of casting magic spells, and going on adventures with friends! I have never done any sort of written RP like this, well I guess you can sort of consider Runescape and WoW as written since it was done through chat but we also moved our characters around the game world so... maybe not a great comparison, but regardless Im so excited to try this out! Looking forward to meeting amazing people!

If the title doesn't make it obvious, I'm imagining a Yugioh type setting, but instead of the usual setting (the world and its technology and society's revolve around this card game for some reason), Duelists are a bit more unique. The card game exists within the setting, for sure, but the magical angle (shadow games etc) is back, and with a horror twist.

Urban Horror; there's a supernatural world/society just beneath the surface of our mundane reality, and The Duelists' Society, with their ability to bring the game to life, secretly protects the world from things that go bump in the night, and occasionally clashing with a shadowy cabal of antagonists they know simply as "The Conspiracy".

If this game gets off the ground, I would ask players have no more than 2 characters, and allow 1 unique (made up) card per player (subject to approval). I haven't decided how running the duels would work, I have a system that has worked pretty well in the past, but there should still be more focus on character interaction and rp.


Not sure how this can work, but I am supporting this on principle. I hope this game does well.

i'm lili, short for many different things, and i've been rping for. a long time!

i like to write snippets/stories of my OCs and canon characters alike, ranging from 2-12+ pages long. depends on how invested i am.

outside of my passion for writing, i absolutely love music & singing and partake in choir/theatre. (theatre nerd) i love books, tv/movies, and baking!

i hope to become more acquainted with this site :3

Greetings! It is a pleasure to meet you all, my name is Lucien, I am an author although I am still quite unknown yet. I am 35 years old, I love anime, video games, writing stories, fanfictions or poetry, as well as music. I used to play several instruments before I was injured. These included the violin, piano, guitar (Both acoustic and bass), and cello. I enjoy philosophy, chess as well.
