No need to apologize son, besides I'm far from god-like. I'm not infallible, I may be immortal and have a mastery of the arcane but bones can't magic themselves together without fingers to cast a spell. I was a man once too before...

*I wave lazily to myself.*

...I became this finely dressed skeleton you see now.

*I snorted in semi-disbelief.*

Damn, what a way to nuke my sense of scale from orbit. If you don't consider yourself comparable to a god, then I'd quite hate to so much as breath the same oxygen as something you actually think qualifies.

*Maybe it had simply been so long that I'd forgotten what godly auras felt like. Maybe it was simply that when I was standing before the Pantheons, I'd been too weak to sense them the same way I could sense Alna now. Whatever the case, I quite hoped that such things stayed thoroughly not my problem for a long long time.

<Snipped quote by Lewascan2>

I am well aware of the beings here, there are more than you would believe that tend to escape death… Or so they believe.
*I smile again as I let go, speaking in a deadpan manner*
Everyone eventually expires and I’ll be waiting for you.

*I chose not to outright dispute that, despite just how... frankly incorrect he was. I couldn't age. My body was not normal, not mortal any longer. Even now, I could only vaguely grasp the theory behind what happened when I self-resurrected. After all, I could only analyze it while dead. This guy wasn't the first Death God and/or concept of Death I'd stood before, and if all those other guys combined couldn't kill me, despite definitely wanting to? Well, I wasn't about to give this guy's promise much credence. Honestly, best case scenario, this "Uncle Death" knew perfectly well the reality and was just playing it off; after all, Death had a reputation to maintain with all these other guys. Outwardly, I merely shrugged with a wry expression.*

If that day comes, sure, but I've long since given up on there being an afterlife for me.

*I snorted and rolled my eyes at the following puns.*
The collab is now up!

Sorry if it's a bit long...

The Long Post Side is a pathway to many abilities, some consider to be unnatural.
<Snipped quote by Lewascan2>

*laughs and pats your back hard before taking a few steps away*
Collin, yes. I know you, but not in a way that is personal. I know everyone! It's a hobby of mine to meet people in this small, small world.
*sticks out my hand*
Pleasure to formally meet ya, Collin! Don't worry, you won't drop touching me.

*My expression was somewhat dry, as I took his hand and shook carefully, still minding my strength just in case.*

Oh, I suppose I guess I expected you to have sensed it already, but I wasn't really concerned about dying. Since most tales of "Death" as a being tend to revolve around those with a bit of concern over the cosmic balance, I was more worried about your stance on people that sort of sit outside the conventional life/death cycles. Which, you know...

*I gestured at Alna and the vampire-looking guy, Vinashy.*

We got these guys sure, and it's not that I can't die, more-so that I don't exactly stay dead. I'm genuinely not even entirely sure how it works myself. That's a bit too high-concept for me, since I did it on accident honestly. But probably, the reason I keep getting banished from other dimensions is that people can't get rid of me otherwise. I mean, the first time around, it was basically an all-star line-up of my world's godly pantheons, and they were pissed that I'd somehow outdone them in terms of immortality.

<Snipped quote by Lewascan2>

*Taps cane against the floor a couple times, staring in the direction of the fireplace.*

You'd be correct to say it is hard to wholly accept I'm anything but an altruist but everyone has a very different idea of right and wrong you see. There is nary a catch just a request, since you are stuck the least you can do is help keep out any riffraff that might invade. You don't need to mind you and as a gentleman I'd never force my will unto another as it would be rude.

*I raised a skeptical brow at that, but shrugged in acceptance*

Okaaay, sure, I'll bite. My apologies, I don't exactly have the best experience with god-like beings as far as altruism is concerned. But sure, I'd be a pretty poor guest if I wasn't willing to act as a defender in times of need.
<Snipped quote by Lewascan2>

A guest, hopefully I can accommodate to your needs if you wish I can have a residence built for you outside of the keep or you may have a room here.

*Working my jaw, I couldn't help my brows furrowing, as I hummed thoughtfully. Glancing around at the room's occupants, I decided to be forthright.*

Right, so... as much as I'd love to believe you're the purely altruistic sort, I hope you'll forgive me asking what the catch is? I mean, I don't really got anywhere to go or... I guess goals presently. But I did used to do mercenary work. As long as it's not innately conventionally morally contemptable, I'm game for paying back a favor. Though, given how uh... out of my depth I'm feeling here, I can't quite imagine what I could do that you can't far more quickly and effortlessly.
<Snipped quote by Lewascan2>

*within a blink of an eye, I am next to you with my arm around your shoulders*
Don't get too lively, name's Uncle Death.

*Even with Overclock V5 running at full bore, the only real warning I had of the second skeleton's repositioning was the reappearance of his aura directly beside me. Thankfully, between my enhanced perception and speed, I had a small eternity to panic in fast-forward, so fast that it ceased to be perceptible in combination with my relatively solid composure. I resisted the urge to cringe away from the very literal touch of death, my personal space quite thoroughly invaded, as I carefully and politely as I could manage reached over to brush the limb off me.*

Collin. I'm new around here... but that's pretty obvious. And "lively"? Ironically, that must be my line, given how chummy you're being.
<Snipped quote by Lewascan2>

A form of teleportation amigo.

Righteo.
@Uncle Death Was that speed or teleportation?
<Snipped quote by Lewascan2>

Howdy.
*waves at you, my skull warping into a grin with my mouth slightly open*

*I barely managed to conceal my trepidation, but hopefully, I came off generally amicable. As things were, I was having to enter an almost meditative state to avoid giving too much attention to any one of the absurd individuals I was now surrounded by.*

Uh... Hi?

*Like, what did you even say to the manifestation of "Death"?*

<Snipped quote by Lewascan2>

*I chuckle at the use of the word killer, ironic with the present company as it was.*

I'm glad I never crossed paths with these killer whales else I wouldn't have the pleasure of such company.

*Motions to everyone in the room.*

*I grimaced openly, cringing at the memory of those abominations. Sure, Yandere had been bad on a personal level, an unparalleled nemesis, but Scion?*

Well, I call them whales, but that's more a mocking term so I can focus less on how easily they could destroy... pretty much everything if they started taking us in any way seriously back then. One was killed by pure luck and betrayal of one of their own kind. Only reason we could even kill the remaining one was that he -it- was depressed and suicidal... and also never took humanity seriously until it was too late. We hit him with a weapon that could strike every single dimension he was in simultaneously and managed to cripple enough of his vital abilities that we were able to finish him off before he could recover or escape.
<Snipped quote by Lewascan2>

Yes, I'm good friends with Death himself. Interesting individual like my undead comrade Vinashay.

*Nods towards a shadow in the corner of the room.*

<Snipped quote by Shadow Dragon>

Do show yourself friend.

*Death him-fucking-self? Absolutely wonderful. My flat expression didn't quite convey the existential dread of that concept... more because my very existence was as likely to fascinate as it might personally offend such a being.*

So... Death, huh? Like... THE Death or just A Death? I mean, the multiverse apparently being what it is, I feel like there's a distinction to be made there.

*A moment later, my head swiveled towards the indicated shadow with trepidation.*

<Snipped quote by Dark Cloud>

*There's a swirl of crimson smoke, and he appears infrount of the group, then sweeps into a elegant bow*

I am Vinashy. It is a pleasure to make your aquantince.

*It was a good thing I was fairly numb to the concept of self-preservation presently, because otherwise my poker face might not have held in the face of the utterly noxious, seething scent of blood that billowed off of the newcomer's soul and battered my senses, even through Alna's aura. At this point, I was starting to wonder if I might have just stumbled into being the "noble general" of some evil overlord type. Between the skeleton's obvious charisma and power, the unstable but loyal cutie as his maybe right hand, and the probably "hyper competent" assassin general now showing up, I was starting to see a potential pattern developing before my genre savvy senses. Just my luck.*

Ah... Yes, a pleasure. Sorry, I'm a bit out of my depth right now, I think.

<Snipped quote by Lewascan2>

*Falls from the ceiling, my skull rolling away from my body*
agh, my neck.

*Honestly, my own neck probably should have been getting sore from how much I kept having my attention snapped in different directions. I watched relatively impassively, as Alna conversed with... another skeleton.*

<Snipped quote by Uncle Death>

A holiday is a holiday or whatever common phrase you humans use eh?

*Glances to Collin*

<Snipped quote by Dark Cloud>

*shrugs*
I wouldn't know.

*I shrugged in turn.*

Eh, you're not wrong. I've not really participated much in holidays in recent memory. The Apocalypse tends to be something of a mood-killer... as does the existential dread of multiverse-ganking space-whales.
<Snipped quote by Lewascan2>

Haha, okay I'll be clear Alna has the means to bend universes to him whims, destroy realities with a flick of the wrist yet he doesn't because it isn't the gentleman's way.

EDIT: He could do anything you can do replicated with magic, transcending any and all laws of nature to do whatever his whimsy desires.

Unless he can simultaneously: locate every reality with a vital portion of the Entity (of which there will be hundreds to thousands), shatter the dimensional barriers they put around said realities, and then destroy them fairly simultaneously, it will pretty quickly devolve into a game of cat and mouse. And the Entity will hardly be merely running, so Alna would have to be playing defense too against a being with a literal Path to Victory power that they would absolutely be using in the face of such an egregious attack. They're hiveminds, so they can multitask like no-one's business.

And to reiterate, Entities don't use magic, merely high-ascended math backed by energy that lets them impose those new laws of physics on reality. It's not anything he can copy without the same level of planet-sized computer computational power. Sure he can probably think of a magical version, but the Entity way is not magic.

Point being, Alna's absolutely a monster and strong to a degree that boggles the mind no doubt, but a full-powered Entity can and will likely give him a run for his money, even if he's try-harding. Luckily, they're all dead now, so we won't be seeing such an utterly devastating fight come to pass.
